Very friendly staff. Hearty but expensive breakfast. Good bedding with king size bed in the superior rooms. Functional bathroom, modern tiling but low-end linoleum flooring. Separate toilet. Stained carpet in the bedroom and hallways, needs to be replaced. Pool and spa not tested. Free parking.

I found this hotel by chance on the internet and was delighted that I stayed there. The people there could not have been more helpful and I loved the small rather luxurious hotel (off season the prices were moderate). I would stay there again without hesitation should i ever overnight in Chambery again.

Wow. This was a lucky find- for so many reasons. The position is wonderful- in the heart of the old city. The style is beautiful- original and engaging. The bedrooms are super comfortable- and quiet. I love this hotel very much. Everything is perfect. Madame at the reception is friendly and helpful giving me suggestions for the wonderful markets on Saturday. I used the bikes of the hotel to get around.

We much enjoyed our stay at the Petit Hôtel Confidentiel in Chambery. This was our second stay there. The hôtel is in a very interesting old building in a great location in the old town. This chateau is actually a mansion build on remnants of a very old fortress, enlarged, reformed and refurbished. Great place for a romantic weekend. I only gave 4 stars for the room as there was no air conditioning and it was a hot day so difficult to sleep. Otherwise it is a very nice place.

Located in the center of town, everything was close. The staff was kind and the breakfast was of outstanding quality and variety, definitely worth the extra expense if you have a long day ahead of you.

Wow. What can i say!!. Stoped for one night with family and friends on our way home to the UK. Parking was easy and so was the check in. Easy to find and although it was just off the Motorway you couldn't really hear anything. The Bar area was amazing with relaxing sofas and chairs to relax. Nice hotel in French Alps This is a very good hotel with friendly staff. It is right off the main highway but well-insulated. The rooms are fairly large and well-equipped.

Really good hotel for travellers with no frills, just everything you need - bed, bathroom, breakfast. This hotel is set in a really pretty area in Chambery near the Alps. We enjoyed our stay so much so, we stayed a second time. Really comfy bed, all the facilities you need to rest whilst travelling and a great help yourself breakfast. We will definitely stay again as our dogs were allowed too.

The quality of the room is okay. On the other hand, the surroundings and interior of the hotel could do with a good refresh. The manager and his partner are very friendly. The pastries presented in the morning would be more appreciated if they were fresh instead of being pain au chocolat and croissants that came out of the plastic.

Almost a disastrous non-stay. I didn't get access at 9pm, even though I had notified my ETA in advance. No entry code sent out in advance. Notice pasted on the door gave an incorrect contact number. Only thanks to a resident exiting the locked front door did I get inside and see a notice with correct contact number.

Upon entering the hotel you can tell that it is not a very professional establishment, but this was not what I was expecting as I was looking for somewhere cheap. The staff are friendly enough. The place was great. the Room had really good amenities like a mini fridge and a microwave so you can have a nice breakfast or easy dinner in your room. the staff was very friendly and helpful. First time we have stayed in a Campinile and we were pleasantly surprised. Stayed for four nights. Nice quiet room with everything you need. Best bit is the electric blind that turns day into night. Only noise we heard was a late arriving coach load of Italians but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. Restaurant menu a bit limited and service a bit erratic. Breakfast not bad. We had an overnight stop on the way to 3Vallees. Hotel was only 1/4 mile off our route. Close to a Carrefour for a fuel top up as well. Nice room, very good breakfast including sausage, poached eggs and bacon. evening meal menu a bit limited, but I enjoyed a really nice steak with pepper sauce.

We booked this because of the convenient location by the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, storing our luggage until check in time. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the eggs at breakfast - they were made from powder I think. The rest of the breakfast was good.

When we arrived no parking at reception I was told that it hadn't marked PARKING so that meant no parking!! We are on vacation so we will not turn in the night to find a place so PAID PARKING 10EUROS per night for 4 days

I'm italian ☺️ The room is small but sufficient if you are staying only one night. The bathroom is very large and well equipped. There would be enough space for a bidet. 😅

The reason for the stay was we were breaking our train journey, and this hotel is right by the station. It's a little basic but functional, and the only real criticism would be that the shower was a bit feeble. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and breakfast too, and both were good We'd stay again if the circumstances repeated

I thought it had closed down when I arrived as no one opened the electric gate or answered the buzzer. Internet poor and generally grim. I was told breakfast is at 7 obviously because the other guests asked for 7.

A classic Ibis hotel with straightforward access from the motorway. Clean room and bathroom. Bed of good quality, new furniture in the room.Check in and out processes was good and efficient. In summary, a good hotel for business purposes or for travelling to the ski resorts.

Goes above and beyond what is expected : We have stayed at this IBIS quite a few times either on the way to, or from the mountains. Always for one night. Look, it is an IBIS, but for me it is perfect. Breakfast buffet is comprehensive but as expected. Ample secure parking and restaurants are literally a stones throw walking. Petrol similarly just a few hundred yards away. Access from motorway...

They're not winning any awards for design or hospitality here. The rooms are basic, but clean. Location is not exciting, but convenient with food and shopping options within walking distance. Staff are courteous and efficient. Bar area was actually nice and a big thumbs up for the accor members welcome drink! Would stay again if in the area.

Simple roadside hotel, French style. Very friendly owners. The rooms are in need of some love but clean and functional...adjust your expectations and you'll be fine. No breakfast buffet - to reduce food waste, the owners ask you the day before what you would like to eat. Very reasonable price and ideal for an overnight stay. 👌

The room was ok; it is a budget hotel. No sockets by the bed, and the plate came off the socket I used for the hairdryer. The heater was blowing warm air despite being set to 5 on a warm evening. Breakfast was reasonable, cereal, pastries, fruit salad, and tea or coffee from the machine. Staff friendly and helpful.

Free parking. The room was a bit old. The toilets seat was extremwly old, the white plastic is becoming yellow. The blanket was burned with cigarettes and it had holes.

Room close to the highway but quiet Passing through, good value for money. On the ground floor, it was not possible to open the window, there was no air conditioning. A room upstairs would have allowed you to sleep with the window open.

Coming here, on a cross Europe trip, having used F1 hotels in the past, we were just looking for somewhere to sleep and get a shower. We were not disappointed. What you'd expect from a budget hotel, and only occasionally in the last 4 times we've stayed has there been a problem. One year the room stank to high heaven of cigarette smoke, and another year a light was broken. The latter was dealt with fairly quickly and the former, well we had to put up with it.
