We were absolutely thrilled! Our room was bright, cozy, and spotlessly clean – we didn’t even want to leave. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always in a great mood. The whole hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

I found this hotel by chance on the internet and was delighted that I stayed there. The people there could not have been more helpful and I loved the small rather luxurious hotel (off season the prices were moderate). I would stay there again without hesitation should i ever overnight in Chambery again.

Wow. This was a lucky find- for so many reasons. The position is wonderful- in the heart of the old city. The style is beautiful- original and engaging. The bedrooms are super comfortable- and quiet. I love this hotel very much. Everything is perfect. Madame at the reception is friendly and helpful giving me suggestions for the wonderful markets on Saturday. I used the bikes of the hotel to get around.

Wow. What can i say!!. Stoped for one night with family and friends on our way home to the UK. Parking was easy and so was the check in. Easy to find and although it was just off the Motorway you couldn't really hear anything. The Bar area was amazing with relaxing sofas and chairs to relax. I liked everything, a convenient kitchen corner that can be closed with a curtain, it rained for two days, I watched TV in French with a clear conscience and worked out in the fitness room. And A coffee machine is freely available

My wife truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel des Princes. It all started with the checkin. We were greeted by Adrien who welcomed us graciously and attended to our every need. A classic Ibis hotel with straightforward access from the motorway. Clean room and bathroom. Bed of good quality, new furniture in the room.Check in and out processes was good and efficient. In summary, a good hotel for business purposes or for travelling to the ski resorts.

They're not winning any awards for design or hospitality here. The rooms are basic, but clean. Location is not exciting, but convenient with food and shopping options within walking distance. I'm italian ☺️ The room is small but sufficient if you are staying only one night. The bathroom is very large and well equipped. There would be enough space for a bidet. 😅

The reason for the stay was we were breaking our train journey, and this hotel is right by the station. It's a little basic but functional, and the only real criticism would be that the shower was a bit feeble. We booked this because of the convenient location by the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, storing our luggage until check in time. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the eggs at breakfast - they were made from powder I think. The rest of the breakfast was good.

When we arrived no parking at reception I was told that it hadn't marked PARKING so that meant no parking!! We are on vacation so we will not turn in the night to find a place so PAID PARKING 10EUROS per night for 4 days

The room was ok; it is a budget hotel. No sockets by the bed, and the plate came off the socket I used for the hairdryer. The heater was blowing warm air despite being set to 5 on a warm evening. Breakfast was reasonable, cereal, pastries, fruit salad, and tea or coffee from the machine. Staff friendly and helpful.

What you'd expect from a budget hotel, and only occasionally in the last 4 times we've stayed has there been a problem. One year the room stank to high heaven of cigarette smoke, and another year a light was broken. The latter was dealt with fairly quickly and the former, well we had to put up with it. Free parking. The room was a bit old. The toilets seat was extremwly old, the white plastic is becoming yellow. The blanket was burned with cigarettes and it had holes.

The price is way too high for this standard of accommodation and there are better cheaper alternatives nearby. It maybe be right next to the motorway but so are many others. Don't wast your money. Almost a disastrous non-stay. I didn't get access at 9pm, even though I had notified my ETA in advance. No entry code sent out in advance. Notice pasted on the door gave an incorrect contact number. Only thanks to a resident exiting the locked front door did I get inside and see a notice with correct contact number.

Really good hotel for travellers with no frills, just everything you need - bed, bathroom, breakfast. This hotel is set in a really pretty area in Chambery near the Alps. We enjoyed our stay so much so, we stayed a second time. Really comfy bed, all the facilities you need to rest whilst travelling and a great help yourself breakfast. We will definitely stay again as our dogs were allowed too.
