We went to the lovely little pool and that steam bath that one can book for private use and we had a very relaxing time (no deck chair though). Breakfast was served in the restaurant and it was brought to the table

We were absolutely thrilled! Our room was bright, cozy, and spotlessly clean – we didn’t even want to leave. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always in a great mood. The whole hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere

The food- delicious and the service stand out. 30am provided ahead of the Tour Du Femmes. Oh and I forgot the Hamman and pool- relaxing. Charlotte- the hotel owner is wonderful. So thank you for a special stay

The rooms are spacious and luxurious with all mod cons. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The basement swimming pool with sauna a relaxing place to spend half an hour with privacy

I found this hotel by chance on the internet and was delighted that I stayed there. The people there could not have been more helpful and I loved the small rather luxurious hotel (off season the prices were moderate)

I love this hotel very much. Everything is perfect. Madame at the reception is friendly and helpful giving me suggestions for the wonderful markets on Saturday. I used the bikes of the hotel to get around.

Very friendly reception team; made sure we had rooms next to each other. Lovely common space, with some games for kids but also facilities for coffee, tea, etc. Good sized rooms, very comfortable beds

I liked everything, a convenient kitchen corner that can be closed with a curtain, it rained for two days, I watched TV in French with a clear conscience and worked out in the fitness room

The best hotel in Chambery , the rooms are very spacious with all your needs at your disposal. Infact I felt at home for the 4 nights spent in this hotel

We were in Chambery for one day after a hiking trek and found a room here. The front desk was very helpful and the location of the hotel was on a nice block convenient to everything we wanted to walk to

I definitely recommend! The receptionnist was exceptionally professional and helpful with us, and gave us very interesting insight of the medieval history of the building (an ancient convent)

We especially liked the decor throughout the hotel including the room. Having a sitting room on the second floor where one can sit and relax with coffee or tea was extremely valuable to us after long days sightseeing

Breakfast was excellent with lots of local and fresh products. The only regret is about the size of the room, it was a little bit small even if we have booked a deluxe room

Ibis Just a stop to sleep en route to the alps. Would have expected a towel each for the price! Otherwise comfortable and quiet until the bedroom doors started slamming in the morning

Access from motorway is easy and even Google/Maps directed me straight there understanding the difference between a hard right and a slight right (I have previously used the TomTom app or a dedicated TomTom SatNav)

CHAMBERY airport is only 10 minutes drive away. Upon check in reception asked us to show them our COVID pass which they verified (and I know they were doing this for the French family ahead of us)

Goes above and beyond what is expected : We have stayed at this IBIS quite a few times either on the way to, or from the mountains. Look, it is an IBIS, but for me it is perfect

Breakfast buffet is comprehensive but as expected. Ample secure parking and restaurants are literally a stones throw walking. Petrol similarly just a few hundred yards away

Not the cleanest place i have visited. Hair everywhere in the room, doubted the cleanliness of the room. Hotel staff was nice

Perfect for a one night stay. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The bedroom was clean with bathrobes and fluffy towels and the indoor pool an added treat after a long journey. Very convenient to old town.

Good hotel in the centre of city. Staying quite often here and so far cannot tell something bad about it. Cozy style and good enough breakfast. They have sauna and swimming pool which is nice.

This is a very compact hotel where you can be close to the center of the city, stay in a fairly large and very well cleaned room, and relax in the sauna and warmed pool after a long walk around the lovely town Chambery, and enjoy a generous and delicious breakfast early in the morning

They also put a baby cot and the room was still lager enough. The beddings for the baby were clean too. Their pool is a small one, it is in the entrance of the hotel, but practical to access

The staff are very helpful, discreet and professional. We enjoyed using the pool area. We had a very tasty dinner outside on our first evening. Great recommendations for the cocktails and wine

A lovely place to relax away from the city. * The pool and tiki bar offered a great place to enjoy the sunshine. * The restaurant was beautiful and offered a great range of food and drinks, very reasonably priced too

Not so great things: * Our room was very basic, especially the bathroom which resembled something like a budget chain hotel. The room needed some TLC including decoration with peeling paint and chipped wood

Pretentious hotel with lax standards: repairs and cleaning neglected (bedroom floor was sticky, a spray of blood -or something else- on the wall in the bath), breakfast buffet poorly organized

Today I missed a bus connection in Chambery due to delays and, although I didnt stay in the Hotel, the receptionist Ali helped me a lot in finding a Taxi to get to my final destination

I was at late night left with no option more than looking for a hotel to stay. Most of the staff knows English so it's good, if not, they use translate google to communicate. Cheap with breakfast included

When we arrived no parking at reception I was told that it hadn't marked PARKING so that meant no parking!! We are on vacation so we will not turn in the night to find a place so PAID PARKING 10EUROS per night for 4 days

A bed that's more comfortable than I have experienced in the past (we slept on it for over 3 weeks without any problems), and the room has a small bathroom with a shower, as well as some coat hangers, which were very useful to dry any wet jackets after a day of hiking

The room was ok; it is a budget hotel. No sockets by the bed, and the plate came off the socket I used for the hairdryer. The heater was blowing warm air despite being set to 5 on a warm evening

The rooms were serviced every day, which surprised us pleasantly. The room got clean towels every day, and the bed sheets were replaced every other day. The staff were very welcoming and amazingly friendly

We stayed over on our drive out to skiing. When we arrived we were a little concerned by it's initial appearance, it looks a bit dingy but we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are basic, a bit small but clean and warm

They need to sort out the shower heads though, they're attached to the wall in an odd way which sprays water out of the shower. Would definitely stay here again as an overnight stop on the way to the Alps

I thought it had closed down when I arrived as no one opened the electric gate or answered the buzzer. Internet poor and generally grim. I was told breakfast is at 7 obviously because the other guests asked for 7.

En route to the Alps we just needed a basic room to stop over & got exactly what we needed. We had the double room with a shower room which is compact but just as needed. It was very clean and in a good state of repair

The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. I had a good nights sleep as needed. The shower was hot and powerful enough. The manager was helpful finding us a local takeaway and making sure we had all we needed

Good location near the city centre. Clean rooms and friendly reception. Only downside was that there is no airco so the rooms got very hot

Mainly giving the place three stars due to the low price. Upon entering the hotel you can tell that it is not a very professional establishment, but this was not what I was expecting as I was looking for somewhere cheap

Really good hotel for travellers with no frills, just everything you need - bed, bathroom, breakfast. This hotel is set in a really pretty area in Chambery near the Alps
