Great stop off spot with pool, restaurant, and the best air con I've ever experienced in a hotel room! Lots of play equipment for younger kids in the grounds

A complimentary breakfast can be found and it’s well organised with international standards and local additions from Savoir as well

Happily surprised with the quality of every service available at the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly

Decent fo an overnight stay. We chose this hotel because we were passing through on our way to the south of France. They have a restaurant on site which made it convenient. The rooms were adequate and fairly comfortable.

The hotel overall was quite good. There was an outdoor play area for kids (but the kids couldn't play as it was raining). There was a spacious lounge with different activities. The staff was pretty good.

An "exclusive" hidden gem in the heart of the old town of Chambery in Savoie. Everything was great from start to finish. Great attention to detail, comfort, a touch of luxury and service with a smile. We will come back.

Great place for a romantic weekend. I only gave 4 stars for the room as there was no air conditioning and it was a hot day so difficult to sleep. Otherwise it is a very nice place.

Beautiful hotel close to Chambery. It was too cold for the outside pool the night we were there but it did look lovely. We had dinner in their more casual restaurant and it was very nice at a reasonable price

I modify my review, trying to be fair, I probably expected to much before my arrival. The building is authentic 14th century and certainly marvelous

A beautiful place to spend a couple of days relaxing by the pool. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. We booked a duplex online for 2 adults and 2 children at short notice

We loved having breakfast outside in the courtyard and sitting looking up at the chateau from the poolside

Hidden gem, more than we expected! What a nice hotel in the heart of a really nice city! We enjoyed the very welcoming staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and had the opportunity to visit some of the bars and restaurants! We loved it!

The staff at night at the front desk when we arrived were fantastic. The hotel was fine and I got a great workout climbing the stairs four floors which was my choice. They do have an elevator but i enjoyed the stairs

The interior decor is nice as well and when they realized how heavy my luggage was, they switched me to a room that did not require stairs without me having to ask

The blanket in my room was VERY soft (I wanted to steal it because I loved it so much, but I didn't). The breakfast buffet is good but not amazing, I would recommend going to a nearby cafe instead

The location of the hotel is great. My only regret was the bathroom shower. If you have any disabilities make sure you request a shower that is easier to get into

Top service! Rooms are spacy and clean. However yet with no air conditioning on a 28°c day of early May. Excellent location close to the train station and car rental. However room windows are on loudy motorway side

Really good hotel for travellers with no frills, just everything you need - bed, bathroom, breakfast. This hotel is set in a really pretty area in Chambery near the Alps

We enjoyed our stay so much so, we stayed a second time. Really comfy bed, all the facilities you need to rest whilst travelling and a great help yourself breakfast

We will definitely stay again as our dogs were allowed too

If possible I would love to give more stars, This is the bestest place to stay with the bestest guys, I never mate guys like them before and after the two guys of this hotel, I came here to get the contact details of the reception guys as it's being around 4 years I visited this place and would visit the place again just to meet those guys, Now I am in India, These guys provided me best hospitality...

the Room had really good amenities like a mini fridge and a microwave so you can have a nice breakfast or easy dinner in your room. the staff was very friendly and helpful

Good location near the city centre. Clean rooms and friendly reception. Only downside was that there is no airco so the rooms got very hot

It seemed more suitable for a child's comfort. Nonetheless, the other aspects of the hotel, such as the location, room amenities, cleanliness, pool, and breakfast, made up for this minor inconvenience

Good hotel in the centre of city. Staying quite often here and so far cannot tell something bad about it. Cozy style and good enough breakfast. They have sauna and swimming pool which is nice.

The stylish pool added a touch of luxury, and the breakfast spread was truly satisfying, While my stay was mostly enjoyable, I did find the single bed in the triple room to be less comfortable for an adult

This is a very compact hotel where you can be close to the center of the city, stay in a fairly large and very well cleaned room, and relax in the sauna and warmed pool after a long walk around the lovely town Chambery, and enjoy a generous and delicious breakfast early in the morning

They also put a baby cot and the room was still lager enough. The beddings for the baby were clean too. Their pool is a small one, it is in the entrance of the hotel, but practical to access

The hotel was very conveniently located. The room was spacious and quiet. Breakfast provided a good choice in a bright environment.

- Standard rooms have no wardrobe or closet. - some warm breakfast items could've been nice, esp in winter. If you're looking for a sauna or indoor pool, this is not the place

Pleasant restaurant. Limited menu but it changes on a regular basis. Been here with family a number of times and we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Pros: + Right next to the Chambery train station. Convenient if you're arriving by train late in the evening, as the streets are deserted after sunset during winter. + Basic breakfast, with freshly pressed orange juice

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating especially given our unplanned early arrival. Thankfully most speak some English. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and many restaurants

near the old town and the Gare. as the entire city of Chambéry is so at peace i have zero complaints. it's an old 30's hotel modified to an Ibis. the rooms are a little yesterday, porridge wallpaper etc

I was at late night left with no option more than looking for a hotel to stay. Most of the staff knows English so it's good, if not, they use translate google to communicate. Cheap with breakfast included

Today I missed a bus connection in Chambery due to delays and, although I didnt stay in the Hotel, the receptionist Ali helped me a lot in finding a Taxi to get to my final destination

Night was quiet and I did rest well

All in all a nice hotel.. Nice and clean room.. First time in France, so it was a good experience.. 2 things missing in room.. A real airconditioning installed and a little fridge.. Because of that only 4 ⭐

Friendly staff and clean but basic rooms. My room had an traditional varanda doors onto a balcony which made for a nice feature. The breakfast was also really good, a continental with a good range options

Overall it was a great little hotel. 1 min from the Gare and 10min walk to told quarter. Note the Google map location for this hotel is wrong dispite requesting a change

Had an excellent stay , beds are confortable nice sized bathroom, well stocked breakfasts and thé view was more than fine

Emergency stay when flight cancelled. Good value family room. Nice restaurant opposite. Really good breakfast. Made the horror of 9 hours on an airport floor much more bearable!

Ibis as expected. Except that Hotel closed for weekend and I had to change to another hotel on Friday.

The rooms were serviced every day, which surprised us pleasantly. The room got clean towels every day, and the bed sheets were replaced every other day. The staff were very welcoming and amazingly friendly

A bed that's more comfortable than I have experienced in the past (we slept on it for over 3 weeks without any problems), and the room has a small bathroom with a shower, as well as some coat hangers, which were very useful to dry any wet jackets after a day of hiking

The staff would even help us fill up our water bottles every morning! We stayed in this hotel longer than regular customers would, and as a "home base" from which to explore the Savoie region, it matched our needs perfectly

The rooms are relatively cheap, and Chambéry is a good location to explore the surrounding areas from, as we did ourselves for over 3 weeks! The room itself had all the basic necessities

All members of staff spoke English very well, which exceeded our expectations. I could always have a friendly chat with the staff as well, and talk about what we got up to every day

Highly recommended in-between destinations hotel! For long time stay i wouldn’t recommend though because the room was really small and there is no good view from that tiny window

The rooms are as small as you can get and still walk round the beds. Showers and toilets are two each per floor. You get what you pay for, which is not much, but it is clean, and for us it was quiet

What you'd expect from a budget hotel, and only occasionally in the last 4 times we've stayed has there been a problem. One year the room stank to high heaven of cigarette smoke, and another year a light was broken

The latter was dealt with fairly quickly and the former, well we had to put up with it. But yes, overwhelmingly the feeling is of value-for-money and not luxury

Nice area also, and bonus points for finally this year having totally free Wi-Fi :)

Coming here, on a cross Europe trip, having used F1 hotels in the past, we were just looking for somewhere to sleep and get a shower. If you want more than that you will be disappointed
