Chambery, 51 rue Alexander Fleming 🧭 Map
Comfortable hotel, self-service breakfast with a good selection of (local) products
Some English communication problem in reception. Room clean.
We expected slightly more from a 4 star hotel. : We ordered room service through the QR code placed in our room for this purpose. This promised the food to arrive within 30 minutes. When an hour after passing the order we still didn’t receive anything, my husband went down to the restaurant to find that (!) the restaurant never received the order. Despite the fact that (as they confirmed) the restaurant...
Very good hotel, excellent breakfast
Maybe the bed is a bit small for tall people
An old hotel but the ambience is OK.. breakfast is simple.. enjoy my stay at here, will come back again..
Very friendly staff. Hearty but expensive breakfast. Good bedding with king size bed in the superior rooms. Functional bathroom, modern tiling but low-end linoleum flooring. Separate toilet. Stained carpet in the bedroom and hallways, needs to be replaced. Pool and spa not tested. Free parking.

A very special experience. The staff are very helpful, discreet and professional. We enjoyed using the pool area. We had a very tasty dinner outside on our first evening. Great recommendations for the cocktails and wine. Breakfast was very nice, you could eat in the breakfast room or outside. We stayed for 2 nights. Very calm and restful. Lots of options to cycle or explore the lakes locally. Looking...
We stayed here for four nights. Good points; * The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We felt very well looked after and attended to by everyone we spoke to. * The grounds are beautiful and kept well. A lovely place to relax away from the city. * The pool and tiki bar offered a great place to enjoy the sunshine. * The restaurant was beautiful and offered a great range of food and drinks, very...
Pretentious hotel with lax standards: repairs and cleaning neglected (bedroom floor was sticky, a spray of blood -or something else- on the wall in the bath), breakfast buffet poorly organized. Music everywhere, even outdoors, perhaps to cover the noise of the nearby highway? I appreciated the airconditioning in the room and the comfortable bed, Restaurant service chaotic, however the food was good...
Very nice property
Great staff
Do not miss this experience
This chateau is actually a mansion build on remnants of a very old fortress, enlarged, reformed and refurbished. The owner must be an antique fan because the hotel is full of antique and old pieces of furniture and decorative items, all very nice. The experience has to be understood as in a 4 star hotel. Basically service and maintenance could be better if they could afford more personnel. Our...
Great place for a romantic weekend. I only gave 4 stars for the room as there was no air conditioning and it was a hot day so difficult to sleep. Otherwise it is a very nice place.

We were absolutely thrilled! Our room was bright, cozy, and spotlessly clean – we didn’t even want to leave. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always in a great mood. The whole hotel has such a welcoming atmosphere. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
I found this hotel by chance on the internet and was delighted that I stayed there. The people there could not have been more helpful and I loved the small rather luxurious hotel (off season the prices were moderate). I would stay there again without hesitation should i ever overnight in Chambery again.
Lovely hotel and great stay. Very relaxing and comfortable. Great location. Lovely bar and restaurant.
Wow. This was a lucky find- for so many reasons. The position is wonderful- in the heart of the old city. The style is beautiful- original and engaging. The bedrooms are super comfortable- and quiet. The food- delicious and the service stand out. We even had breakfast at 5.30am provided ahead of the Tour Du Femmes. Oh and I forgot the Hamman and pool- relaxing. Charlotte- the hotel owner is wonderful...
I have just penned a review to *********** and I rather hope they print it and you read it. I didn’t think the Petit Hotel could get any better than when I last visited with my wife. But it has. Last Friday I enjoyed a night at the hotel that has not been matched by any other hotel-in the World. And at 80 years old next year believe I have stayed in some of the best. This hotel, the dedication of the...
I love this hotel very much. Everything is perfect. Madame at the reception is friendly and helpful giving me suggestions for the wonderful markets on Saturday. I used the bikes of the hotel to get around.
