Great location but thats about it . Strange slanted room and bathroom was poorly arranged and tiny.

If a hotel is overbooked on both rooms (prepaid) and a separately reserved parking space, one wonders what the definition of a reservation is. But most importantly: how do you handle this as a hotelier? We think that making up excuses that are clearly far from reality and then start shouting when your explanation is not accepted, would not be the way to go…

Hotel staff were really helpful in accommodating a chaotic last minute booking (we only found out after arrival that there was a big festival going on just down the road.. so even nicer that they still helped to accommodate us + our dog).
There was an issue w a smell in one room, but staff communicated honestly and did all they could to help the situation, and in the end it wasn’t a huge deal.
The location is well situated for transport + the old city/church, and breakfast was a pleasant surprise w a lot of options. :)

Simple clean and friendly. No electric kettle in my room even after I asked for one and only disposable plastic cups in my room.

Really enjoyable overnight stay. Perfectly situated for the cathedral and surrounding area. Train station is also dead opposite so absolutely perfect if you're traveling in by train. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. Superb generous buffet breakfast with all options available. Lovely adjoining bar reasonably priced. There is limited parking available for a charge. Only reason for not being 5 stars was there is no lift so if you have heavy luggage request a low floor. Dont let that put you off though.

I stayed in June and had a terrible experience. I forgot my wash bag called the next morning to check that they had found it. They said yes I said I would be back in 2 weeks and would collect the wash bag. On return no wash bag was given and there was no acceptance that the wash bag was ever found despite a member of staff ensuring me it was there. This hotel obviously has internal security problems so take care of your belongings when you stay at this hotel.

The smell in the room was disgusting. They clearly had a problem with the bathroom. We opened the windows on arrival thinking it would go away but ended up sleeping with a towel on the bathroom door to stop the smell coming into the room. We reported it to reception.
Breakfast was nice, the staff was courteous and we have no fault on anything else.

Not too far from the railway station so do not expect calm night and morning.
Parking is a bit small and the breakfast not very tasty.
However very clean, good bed. A lack of ventilation in the bathroom (moldy smell).

Arrived late but pleasantly welcomed at reception of more upmarket and co-owner neighbouring hotel. Rooms good, though be warned that they are non air-conditioned and no elevators- also corridors strewn with laundry. Not given car park option which were provided for the nicer hotel. Satisfactory €9 pp breakfast. Great location.
