Mercure Colmar Centre Unterlinden in Colmar

A very nice hotel located in the city centre of Colmar, close to many attractions. If you are travelling by car, parking is available for €20 per night, although the spaces can be a bit tight for larger cars — so you’ll need to be extra careful.
We had booked a premium room, which was quite spacious and included some delicious local Alsace snacks and drinks — a really nice touch. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
From the hotel, you can easily walk to the city centre and most of the main sightseeing spots. The breakfast offered a good variety, with both hot and cold options as well as drinks. The only thing I missed was having larger mugs for tea — the tea glasses were a bit too small for my husband and me.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, and I cannot give them less than 5 stars. Thank you very much to the team at Mercure Colmar Centre!

This is a very nice hotel located in the city center. Everything is in walking distance. The rooms are very nice and clean, well equipped. Staff is very friendly and english speaking. When driving to the hotel parking house you have to enter the pedestrian zone on the right side of the hotel and will see the entrance right away around the corner.
The only bad experience is the parking house. My car is bigger and wider - the entrance very narrow as well as the exit and steep, there are no signs which way to exit so I ended up on a pavement and damaged my car - although I'm a very experienced driver.

Great location for this hotel. Underground carpark at €20/night but also opposite a public car park.
Staff super helpful and friendly.
Rooms are clean and comfortable. The only negative point was no holding bar, anti slip flooring in the shower cubicle. Also the soap dispenser was so high we couldn’t reach it.
Breakfast was plentiful.
Evening snack can be taken at the bar-appreciated the offer.
Water dispenser to refill water bottles! Great.

We had originally intended to stay at the Mercure Colmar last Christmas. Due to a family emergency we had to change our plans and stayed at the hotel in September. We were in a Privilege Room and it was so nice and well located where we didn’t have any noise or traffic from other guests. It was nice that the fan in the room was able to be left running and made such a nice hum to cover any outdoor noise. The breakfast was good. The parking was great and very secure. Easy to walk to most of the attractions in Colmar. We would definitely choose this hotel again!

To be fair, from the outside I didn’t expect too much of this hotel. But once inside, being helped by the friendly staff and experiencing the room, my opinion changed. No complaints whatsoever. Do keep in mind that the elevator is a bit small. Breakfast wasn’t the most luxurious, but it did have plenty of options. The hotel is also very conveniently located just outside the center of Colmar.

Great location, 3 minutes walking to the village center where you see all the beautiful houses

A perfect stay. The hotel room is very spacious and clean, and there is a coffee machine in the room. The front desk has good English and the service is very thoughtful. The only drawback is that because the hotel is very new, their own restaurant and cafe have not yet opened, but there is a very good cafe on the corner 20 meters away from the hotel, so it does not affect the quality of accommodation at all. Because the hotel is in the city center, it does not have its own parking space, but there are parking spaces around and on the main street nearby, and the price is very cheap. We just caught up with the olive picking season, and the hotel also thoughtfully arranged for us to visit their boss's own olive orchard and experience picking in person, and arranged their own olive oil tasting picnic in the olive orchard, and then participated in the whole process of making olives picked by themselves in the olive oil extraction workshop. It was my first time to experience olive oil making in my life, which was very memorable. It happened to be the birthday of my companion in the middle, and the hotel also arranged a surprise bouquet and red wine, which was really thoughtful.
