The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing! The location allows for easy access to Colmar and the Alsace wine region, at a very reasonable price!

I should've believed the reviews and booked another place. The room definitely was not worth what we paid for: old (not in a nice way) with bathroom doors and A/C system from 1980s, pile of dust in the vent and curtains. Windows haven't been washed in weeks if not months. To top it off, the location: we usually like walking but here it's not worth it because there is nothing nearby, not even a place...

We got the upgrade for our room and it was very spacious and has a great balcony with amazing view. Thank you for the welcome greeting, it is well prepared and we love it so much!

Step back to the time of the late 1800s and early 1900s. The room was decorated with chandeliers and old furniture which was in pristine condition. Opulent feel in the halls and decorated to the age of the hotel. Very clean and functional bathroom. Our room was big and quiet. Bed is comfortable and room is dark and cool in the summer. Great hotel. Located right beside the train station. A nice walking distance from the "hustle and bustle" of the city centre (15-20mins) through a lovely park. Dog friendly. Can recommend the bar down the road for a morning espresso/cappuccino and croissant. OH and don't forget to try out their restaurant - had a great meal there!

We had a very good two night stay here. They had upgraded us to a junior suite (not sure why) and it was a lovely large room, very comfortable. The hotel is handily placed right opposite the station. The walk into the attractive old centre of Colmar is about 15 minutes but there is also a little free bus which cycles round between the station and the town. Hotel has great parking which is a bonus, but it's also about 15-20 min away from center (not a big deal if you have a car since you can just drive and park in center.....parking during day is cheap). The Marechal is a very scenic, romantic 4* hotel right next to the "Little Venice" of Colmar. The rooms are cozy, service is fantastic and so is the food in the adjacent restaurant. Absolutely worth the stay, although in need of some renovation. However there was some overhaul going on, while we were there so that may have happened in the meantime? We enjoyed our time there a lot, either way.

It is very convenient to travel and the accommodation is in a quiet location. There are museums and many restaurants around. The towels in the hotel are very comfortable and the thickness is comparable to that of a five-star hotel. The toiletries are elegant and fragrant, just like French perfume.

Lovely hotel on main road, easy to walk into the centre. Disappointed no amenities in room, not even a kettle or cups. Older decor, but clean. No bath. Reception staff lovely.

This hotel provided the best experience of a nice home base to visit Colmar. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the hotel was clean and interesting (a converted malting plant), our room and appointments were lovely, parking was easy just across the street in a city parking garage, and the location was great.

Good location, you can walk to the train station and the old town of Colmar. But the family suite only has one room, but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is OK, and there is a place to get water at the entrance.

A very nice hotel. Trains are not really an issue because they have double windows and no train traffic after midnight. Rooms were clean.

A quiet place, near to the train station. You can walk 10min to the center. The front look nice, I think it was renovated, but rooms looks old, disposition of the bathroom could be better. They close the lobby by nigth, you need to use the ringbell. There is breakfast which is not included in the regular price.

The room was alright. All the essentials were there. First room that we were taken had already a guest with their belongings, so we got a new room and the breakfasts for free as a compensation. I would have hoped more variaty with the breakfast (for example more warm foods).

As ever a B&B hotel that offers good value, as it is well priced and fit for purpose. Stayed here several times, and always happy.

The staff at the reception was very helpful. Especially the evening receptionist in particular was very helpful in dealing with our occasional requests. Breakfast was (unsurprisingly) more expensive than before "Covid", unfortunately it was less varied. Delivery of scrambled eggs stuck. :-).

Usual high standard of B&B hotels at reasonable prices. Conveniently situated opposite a Buffalo Grill and close to E Leclerc for shopping and fuel. Close too to useful road junctions.

We went to Colmar during the Xmas market. It was a good place to safely park the car and sleep nearby the city center. The person that welcomed us in the evening was kind and informative about the city’s activities. The room was good and the shower hot.

The hotel was great, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. The pancake machine was absolutely fabulous. My son pressed the button 22 time and almost made 44 pancakes. We also met a friendly little porcupine in the beautiful garden.

This is not a 4-star hotel, at max they would qualify as a 3-star. If you are expecting decent breakfast then you would be up for a disappointment. Breakfast is very basic, stale and we spotted flies over breads. Rooms are okay, hotel was clean. We saw couple of cockroaches in lobby too.

B&B is a good hotel for a overnight stay, this 4* hotel is a bit more luxurious than regular B&B hotels and it is worth the money! The separate bike storage is a enormous plus!

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot to access best parts of Colmar. The rooms and bathrooms are spacey, very clean; however cold. No tolitries like conditioner, cotton discs, but only soap and shampoo. The beds are comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Staff are helpful and smiling.

Everything was clean and modern. The room AC could not be adjusted, and the temperature of the water was quite mild, which was disappointing considering the cold weather. Your receptionist took my card upon checkout, and did not thank me, nor acknowledge my checking out/leaving.

The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and extremely nice, and did offer friendly suggestions. All easy - parking garage is 11 Eur, so I used public parking - you need to speak french to deal with the parking meters. not difficult to find a space near the hotel

Wonderful hotel on a very good location in Colmar. Little Venice is just around the corner. I had a room across the street. It had a separate sitting room, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly. One tip: Google guided me to an alley, but the entrance is on Rue de Turenne. Do not take Rue de la Poissonnerie!

Even I liked the layout with maisonette style, I wouldn’t stay there again, because there is no privacy with open toilet and temperature is really challenging during summer.
