The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing! The location allows for easy access to Colmar and the Alsace wine region, at a very reasonable price!

I was very diasppointed about a couple of things which, I think, must be offered in a 4-star hotel at this price level. - At arrival we ordered two beers at the price of EUR 8.00 each! I should've believed the reviews and booked another place. The room definitely was not worth what we paid for: old (not in a nice way) with bathroom doors and A/C system from 1980s, pile of dust in the vent and curtains. Windows haven't been washed in weeks if not months. To top it off, the location: we usually like walking but here it's not worth it because there is nothing nearby, not even a place...

Step back to the time of the late 1800s and early 1900s. The room was decorated with chandeliers and old furniture which was in pristine condition. Great hotel. Located right beside the train station. A nice walking distance from the "hustle and bustle" of the city centre (15-20mins) through a lovely park. Dog friendly. We had a very good two night stay here. They had upgraded us to a junior suite (not sure why) and it was a lovely large room, very comfortable. The hotel is handily placed right opposite the station. The walk into the attractive old centre of Colmar is about 15 minutes but there is also a little free bus which cycles round between the station and the town. The Marechal is a very scenic, romantic 4* hotel right next to the "Little Venice" of Colmar. The rooms are cozy, service is fantastic and so is the food in the adjacent restaurant. Absolutely worth the stay, although in need of some renovation. However there was some overhaul going on, while we were there so that may have happened in the meantime? We enjoyed our time there a lot, either way.

It is very convenient to travel and the accommodation is in a quiet location. There are museums and many restaurants around. The towels in the hotel are very comfortable and the thickness is comparable to that of a five-star hotel. The toiletries are elegant and fragrant, just like French perfume.

I like that the parking lot is safe and private. They also give you a great selection of complimentary coffee and tea. The rooms are spacious and the front desk staff are lovely. It’s super close to downtown by car and close to the highway.

This hotel provided the best experience of a nice home base to visit Colmar. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the hotel was clean and interesting (a converted malting plant), our room and appointments were lovely, parking was easy just across the street in a city parking garage, and the location was great.

Good location, you can walk to the train station and the old town of Colmar. But the family suite only has one room, but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is OK, and there is a place to get water at the entrance.

A very nice hotel. Trains are not really an issue because they have double windows and no train traffic after midnight. Rooms were clean.

A quiet place, near to the train station. You can walk 10min to the center. The front look nice, I think it was renovated, but rooms looks old, disposition of the bathroom could be better. The room was alright. All the essentials were there. First room that we were taken had already a guest with their belongings, so we got a new room and the breakfasts for free as a compensation. I would have hoped more variaty with the breakfast (for example more warm foods).

The staff at the reception was very helpful. Especially the evening receptionist in particular was very helpful in dealing with our occasional requests. Breakfast was (unsurprisingly) more expensive than before "Covid", unfortunately it was less varied. Delivery of scrambled eggs stuck. :-).

Quite a walk from the main train station. The rooms are tiny and the walls are thin. Breakfast is deplorable and you are better suited to find something else outside. A decent place for a day or two in Colmar. Relatively close to the city center and easy to get to with complimentary parking. Rooms are on the small side and the walls are fairly thin, so not the quietest place. The amazing stuff and great breakfast selection make up for it though.

One on the best B&B hotels we have stayed in. Extremely high standards particularly for the cost of the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent with proximity to motorway but still in a quiet location. There is a steak house next door that is very good and allows dogs. All in all we will definitely use this again.

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot to access best parts of Colmar. The rooms and bathrooms are spacey, very clean; however cold. No tolitries like conditioner, cotton discs, but only soap and shampoo. The beds are comfortable. Very nice breakfast. Staff are helpful and smiling.

Wonderful hotel on a very good location in Colmar. Little Venice is just around the corner. I had a room across the street. It had a separate sitting room, beautiful bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly.
