Novotel Deauville Plage in Deauville

We are long-standing customers, staying at Novotel Deauville twice a year and doing business — yet the service and communication have been nothing short of appalling.
In May, our confirmed booking was cancelled without reason and without any instruction from us to do so. For our August booking, despite providing all guest names and details months in advance, we were contacted again on the day of arrival asking for information already sent multiple times.
We dealt with several different staff members, none of whom appeared aware of previous correspondence, creating confusion and wasting our time. This level of disorganisation is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one under the Novotel brand.
We expected professionalism, efficiency, and respect for loyal customers. Sadly, we experienced the opposite.

Dear Tourist
Be careful when you take an umbrella from the reception. They charge you 2 € for 48h. And 18€ for 1 extra hour. ITS A RIPE OFF. Any respectable hotel around the world is free of charge….
Also lobby smell all tine fish from the sushi shop. Hotel should put perfume bottle in the lobby. if it’s cost too much they could use the umbrella money to buy perfume….
