Stayed there for 3 days bed and breakfast. Management and staff very helpful great location very good choice for breakfast looking forward to next year.

I cannot recommend the Agena highly enough following our recent 5 night stay as a large group of pilgrims. From the managers to the cleaners, every single member of staff was friendly and helpful. The catering was brilliant, both in terms of quality and quantity. The rooms/en suites have been renovated since our last visit (pre-pandemic) and are the right size and design for a few days at the Lourdes Sanctuary. The lobby area is a lovely environment to 'take the weight from your feet' during a busy day, and a hub of laughter and relaxation in the evening. No request is too large for Fionnuala and her team, who really are experts in all things Lourdes. We look forward to visiting again in the coming years.

This hotel is very special in how it serves its guests. The cleanliness, food quality, staff and management are all superb. It is perfectly located just a short walk from the world renowned Lourdes grotto. The quality of the food was amazing and the kindness shown to some of their more senior guests was heartwarming to witness.

My reservation went well, but I forgot to check the name that was entered. So I called Trip.com directly to tell them that an identity error had occurred when selecting the passenger names. I called the establishment to let them know that an error had been made. The hostess was kind during our phone conversation. Except that she informed me that her establishment was closing for the winter season. However, I was given the opportunity to change establishments for the same period. I was very satisfied with the hotel where I stayed; otherwise, the staff was pleasant and courteous, and the food was not the most luxurious, but edible. The hotel was close to the sanctuary; it was decent, with a bathroom equipped with a bathtub and a bidet. The problem was drying the laundry. Otherwise, the stay was pleasant and peaceful. A very nice experience.

Stayed in the hotel Agena Fr two nights and days while on Pilgrimage, full board and lodging. Couldn't have been better. Thank God for it and the wonderful visit to Lourdes and the Grotto.

We arrived at the Agena, when it was 30+ degrees, our rooms were all ready for our group of 35. The rooms all had air con which was hugely appreciated. Our host Fionnula was just fantastic from beginning to end. She was so attentive to everyone’s needs, with easy access for wheelchair users and lots of guidance and help. Food was beautiful at all times. Excellent staff and excellent service. Thank you Fionnula and staff. We will most definitely be back. Tina and Fran XX

I just returned from a Pilgrimage to Lourdes as part of a Donegal group. We arrived at 4p.m due to delayed flights but Finnuala made sure we had immediate food even though it was well after lunch. The food at the Agena is wonderful and plentiful and was served to us every day by the amazing Jacko. Every need was attended to and Finnuala (who is an amazing lady and works so hard) doubled up as our JWT representative when we arrived until our other amazing JWT representative - Eileen returned from her time off. A big shout out to our JWT representatives. While we had trouble with our flights originally our reps went out of their way to look after us from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend the Agena. It is close to the Grotto and on the River. Huge thanks from me personally and from all our group to al at Agena.

Just back from a trip to Lourdes staying at the Agena Hotel. From arrival to departure the experience was excellent. Rooms were clean and presentable and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. Due to having a small accident, we had to stay an extra two days but nothing was any trouble and Fionnuala went over and beyond to help us in our hour of need. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future

Had a wonderful stay, the wheelchair access room was perfect for our needs, food was excellent and the staff were wonderful and helpful. Can highly recommend a stay . Location is perfect too with shopping just around the corner
