Grand Hotel Moderne in Lourdes

I would personally like to thank the wonderful team at The Grand Hôtel Moderne for allowing me to make a local phone call, as I only had WhatsApp access on my phone. Mr Joseph Tedesco was so kind in assisting me yesterday.

A beautifully appointed old world hotel with luxury styling just steps away from the sacred places of Lourdes, France. The hotel staff was very inviting and warm, especially Simone at the Front Desk who was very helpful in arranging a cab for us. When arriving at Grand Hotel Moderne, be sure to ask for Simone. He is most gracious and helpful.

AWESOME!!! Location, service, rooms, cleanliness, food, decor, and friendly staff - the hotel has it all! Recommend getting breakfast included since it is a feast! Hot items, cold items, eggs made to order, and even pancakes. They have gluten-free bread! Coffee and tea were hot and strong. Breakfast was very hearty, we didn’t need lunch - we were fine until dinner at the end of a long day … again, at the hotel. Located right at St. Joseph’s Gate just steps away from the Sanctuary. There is a tasteful gift shop on the street level. We could see the Rosary Procession from our room! Strong water pressure for a relaxing shower after visiting the Grotto, praying, and taking part in many events all day. Incredible value. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning here when in Lourdes again. Valerie at the front desk was very helpful. Thierry at the dinning room provided wonderful service. Thank you! ( :

The Grand Sierra Resort was awesome! The staff were super friendly and helpful from the get-go. Check-in was a breeze, and our room was super clean and comfy. The view was amazing. The pool area was great, tons of space and it was so refreshing. The food was delicious, and the service in the restaurant was top-notch. We really loved [mention a specific dish or aspect of the restaurant experience, e.g., the burgers, the happy hour deals]. Overall, it was a totally awesome trip!

It is a beautiful hotel from another era. Art Nouvea style. The dining room elegant and old world. It has comfy beds, great toiletries, french furniture.
It is steps from the church and the procession.
Parking is available, one block over in the public parking lot at 15 Euro a day. A perfect place to stay to visit Our Ladyvof Lourdes.

We make a pilgrimage to Lourdes twice a year and always stay at this hotel. Excellent cuisine with Italian products. Not to mention the staff who are always very helpful.
