We booked the room but pictures on the booking was completely different. Our room didnt have window and it was really old and outdated. I didnt see pics on the site. I was really upset because the room wasnt same on the pictures
The cleanliness is very poor — there’s so much dust in every corner of the room that you can scoop it up with your hand. Under the bed, there are food leftovers and a duvet that hasn’t been returned to its proper place — I guess they use the space under the bed for storage?
The two gentlemen at the reception wearing glasses are clearly unfamiliar with basic etiquette and seem to hate their job.
Also, some kind of ventilation runs through the room, so be prepared not to get any sleep — it sounds like a plane is flying right above you. The mattress is so worn out that there’s a dent in the middle.
I regret ever stepping foot in that hotel, but unfortunately, the whole of Lyon was fully booked due to the music festival!🙃
The room is dark, I booked a room with a balcony, but when I arrived, they said that the rooms with balconies were being renovated and offered breakfast for the entire stay.
Overall, everything is fine, the most important thing is the location of the hotel, the room is clean, the bed is comfortable.
