We recently spent 3 nights here on our visit to Lyon. The check in experience was very good. The person working the front desk at the time was very friendly and helpful. Even walked us to show us the section of the hotel our room would be located. The room was very nice. We had a balcony with views of the courtyard. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower was nice. The only downside was the toilet...

The central location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the hospitality were great. The breakfast was very rich and wonderful. Not having a minibar in the room was a problem in winter, but it could be in summer. Thanks for everything

Our stay in the hotel was great. It is very close to the train station and public transport. The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was excellent and the staff are extremely nice and friendly.

Very very comfy beds, very friendly staff! Everything felt clean and good quality. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, room was packed and felt understaffed, a lot of stuff just wasn't getting replenished for longer period of time. That being said, everything was tasty! Would book again!

Lovely hotel is a central location. There is a main metro & train station less than a few min walk away and a team stop outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms are modern and very comfortable. I really liked the outdoor space in the courtyard, nice to sit and relax and have a coffee or a drink

For its value it is excellent, the food was generally good, room was very basic but had what you need,staff was kind and the hotel had a very modern feel.

The hotel is really hip and nicely decorated. The restaurant Karlito was heaven sent! A great Italian. When we entered the hotel thought the restaurant, we decided to cancel our reservation in the center and eat there. And was the right choice. Finally we got some good charcuterie board and good wine ( believe it or not we had a hard time to find them in Lyon during the Christmas exceptional time)...

Small, but cozy rooms. Nice atmosphere, friendly people. The toilet in the room is not sound-or odorproof, so it‘s good every room has a small balcony.

With a strike taking place for Iberia, my travel plans were delayed and I lost most of y reservations. So instead of staying Vieux Lyon (old town) the only available decent hotel was MOB in the more modern Confluence area. This hotel is good for crashing and I noticed some work groups utilizing the spaces downstairs. It's modern and has what you need but it's small and confined and far from the best...

Great hotel, alot of construction in the area and hard to get to it. We arrived 8:30 pm and no where in this area to find dinner as everything closes early. Had to settle for a boring sandwich at the front desk. But the rooms were nice, breakfast was decent.

Very good hotel. Freshly refurbished room, nice view on the city. The bar serves good cocktails (bit of a waiting time). Parking of the hotel was full… that shouldn’t happen, I had to park a bit far in the street. Overall nice hotel and friendly staff.

Nice room, well decorated, very clean. Magnificent view from the room. The only negative point is the entrance of the building. The road / sidewalk to enter into the hotel is quite dirty. Certainly doesn't deserve to be the entering road for a four star hotel !

View and room are great. Parking is really difficult to find. No signs at all, while the road is closed. In the end you need to go on the bus/taxi lane (while officially not allowed). Therefore not 5stars

An impressive building, inside and out, with stunning views over the city from the 32nd floor restaurant and bar. A little corporate, but the slick service needs to cater for the occasional tourist that walks in, as the reception staff seemed all too keen to ignore anyone not entirely dressed for the occasion. Check in service was a little slow but once greeted it was efficiently dealt with. The rooms are very practical with good showers. A clean and well kept hotel which I would throughly recommend for the price in a great part of Lyon.

I had a wonderful experience! The hotel is truly perfectly located with the best view. The staff was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was truly the best place in Lyon to eat. I just wish the Air Conditioner was turned on.

We were able to drive the hire car past the hotel to drop our luggage before dropping the hire car back at Part Dieu. The hotel room we chose (circular junior suite) was spectacular, with a big balcony and great view of Place de Bellacour The breakfast was lovely as were the staff.

Most beautiful hotel in the heart of Lyon. Rooms, lobby and Bar / Restaurant were beautifully ornate. The personnel was attentive, pleasant and helpful beyond professionalism. Booked a night there for the Light Festival in Lyon. Wasn’t disappointed at all. The room was quite large and there was even a small balcony which I believe can be nice to enjoy the view and warm weather in the summer. I only had a business dinner at ZUCCA Restaurant of Marriott Hotel Cité International, but it was an outstanding experience. The dinner was exquisite, perfectly paired with excellent wine, and the dessert was both delicate and delicious. The waiters were exceptionally kind, professional, and attentive. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room/ bathroom is big enough but the cleaning could have been a whole lot better unfortunately. It's not giving the 4-star vibes you're paying for. Last night there were incredibly noisy party people next to us and a lot of guests had complained apparently. We were told at the reception that they were aware of the noise and they said sorry for the inconvenience...

The staff here is wonderful and I really wanted to like this hotel…. Unfortunately this hotel desperately needs a renovation…..which is scheduled for next year. Rooms dated and in poor condition. Despite Lyon being the gastronomy capital of the world, the food and bar offerings here will disappoint. Looking forward to seeing their improvement in the future.

The check in staff were top tier, amazing. The location is right beside a bus line with easy access to the train and city center. The hotel needs an update. Peeling paint on the ceiling, rusty looking shower floors, walls peeling out badly patched, in general needing a refresh. This is my favorite hotel in Lyon. Clean, modern, no hassles, and the breakfast buffet is perfect! Just across the street from the most amazing park.in France on one side, and a beautiful river with walking/biking path on the other side.

Accommodations are everything one expects from a hotel, check-in was quick and efficient and the room was comfortable enough with most common appliances. It's located near the train station, so it's ideal when in transit. There few bar/restaurant options nearby, unless you're going for a quick bite or are willing to take the bus/tram to the center.

We were greeted with warm receptionists. Our rooms were ready on time. The rates were very reasonable. The rooms are on the small side but cleanliness is a huge factor. Air conditioning was a plus. We slept 10 hours here.

For a 2-star class it is a very good choice. Close to the train station, clean, slightly cheaper than others around, functional, had some features I missed in more-stars hotels, such as tight curtains letting you sleep in pitch black or a window that actually opens, so you get fresh air too. Super tiny cramped rooms fit only for sleeping and bathing with difficulty. But great central location and budget price for the area.

Great walkability and location. Rooms are standard, definitely nothing fancy. Biggest problem is the shower floods out the floor of the entire bathroom so that there’s standing water around the toilet. Told the front desk staff, and they said “it’s just the design”

Great location. We came for a art Biennale. It was very easy to move around and many of tourist attraction are walking distance. The rooms where simple/minimal design, clean and practical. It looked bigger than what was indicated in m2. The bed was comfortable. The staff was adorable and they let us to early check in. We often go to this hotel when we visit Lyon. It’s a small but cozy place, with a great lounge downstairs that is empty most of the time. the location is great and there’s parking spaces nearby. Love the view of the river, the unique feel of the bed sheets and the pillows. It’s clean and comfortable. I’d definitely recommend this place

I am not going to deduct any star. However, the half panel on bathtubs splashes water on the floor when using shower. I would prefer a fridge to cool water. Other than that, I love the hotel, spacious room, tall ceiling, friendly staff and great location at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Nice location, nice staff, clean place. No shower curtain or shower door, so that was unusual for us to have to be very careful while showering, then to clean up water all over the floor.

Good hôtel near the train station for a low price. Do not expect a 4* hotel, but regarding price/quality they do deliver. They are quick to confirm reservation despite late arrival and the departure process is lightning fast. Room is decent and clean, and as long as you bring earplugs like for any hotel like this you will have a good night sleep.

Spent 7 nights here, fantastisch location close to shopping street, Maine square of New Lyon and alsof close enough to walk to old Lyon. Breakfast was plenty but every morning the same. We did enjoy our stay here. Mainly because it was a heatwave in Lyon and spending two nights here beats being in our hot apartment with no AC. Though they could do with some improvements. Great place with comfortable rooms and amazing pools. Was the perfect stop over on the way to the South of France. It’s made clear that if you don’t book the spa access the pools are not included so there should be no surprises on that.

Biggest City SPA in Europe. It has an Olympic sized outdoor pool. Food is very good. Breakfast is great. Balconies are humongous. Very good rooms and bathrooms. I liked the hotel and the staff were nice. I just could never understand how a hotel's pool needs extra payment. Location is ok as it is close to a bus stop, however, pretty far from the centre. Rooms were neat and clean.

Really recommend this hotel. Perfect location in Lyon, Valet parking (€30/night). Lovely lobby and entrance, meeting 5 star expectations. Very friendly, capable and professional staff too! Location was as good as we could expect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay,complimentary minibar (water, soft drinks and nuts) more than made-up for this. I will stay here again on our next trip to Lyon.

Location of this hotel is not bad. Parking also exists and they have own places. The room is also fine and a team is friendly. For me always important that a mattress is comfortable, otherwise i cannot sleep and here the mattress was good.

Very dated room with many issues including: * Bathroom tiles broken, loose, with gaps/missing grouting or mould in the grouting. * All the furniture was scuffed and chipped. * Massive stain on the carpet in the room. * Peeling paint throughout. * Enamel peeling on the bath. However, the bed was amazing as was the location and the view. Overall a bit surprised for a 5* hotel.

Beautiful hotel on top of hill over looking Lyon. Great amenities in the hotel and breakfast was excellent. We were nicely greeted by staff and staff was extremely helpful friendly and accommodating during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is stunning but, be aware there are 235 steps to get down to the old town. Both my husband and I had serious back surgeries last year and this was a real issue for us. The staff were very helpful. We had a drink in the bar and could have bought 3 bottles of wine in a local shop for the price of one glass of wine.

We decided to leave Chamonix early and head to Lyon. The best decision we could make. Villa Florentine made everything so wonderful the beautiful rooms, excellent beds, quiet, and the marvelous staff. Stayed two nights. The room was very quiet, the view from the room was great giving a look over the city. The employees where very happy to help and jump in anytime we needed anything. They even called us to make sure we were able to eat despite our late arrival on day 1. Do not hesitate this hotel is wonderful. One of the best in Lyon!

My husband and I loved our stay at Villa Florentine. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We were helped with our bags all the time and greeted every time we passed the reception. The room was clean and we had a great view.

The staff was so friendly (and fluent in English!) and the room was clean and cozy. It was a wonderful jumping off point for my days' adventures around the city. I immediately fell in love with the neighbourhood and was close enough to walk everywhere. The area felt safe enough to walk home from dinner after dark.

Excellent little hotel in the city centre. Very friendly staff, renovated rooms. The rooms are small, but bedding and towals of good quality. Very close to a parking, lots of shops and restaurants around.

The internet is very complicated, we had to re-verify our email addresses every time we entered the hotel to be able to reconnect. On the iPhone we had to 'forget' the network first to be able to reconnect. We travel a lot and never encountered such a bad connection experience. Once connected the internet was fine.
