Good hotel. Spacious and clean rooms with good shower and bathroom. Gym was ok, but bar seemed closed for much of trip and surrounding area lacked an equivalent once back from the city (which was only 15 mins by bus away so was not a big issue).

I know this hotel well, staying regularly every year in their studios, which are impeccable, but I'd like to draw attention to two significant flaws: 1/ Weak Wi-Fi: Their Wi-Fi has been poor for years, and nothing has been done to improve it. 2/ The restaurant is closed on Sundays: an absurdity in a 4-star hotel!!

The rooms were quite warm and we had to keep the balcony door open to maintain an appropriate temperature. We were on the church side so that was a bit noisy at times with the playground. Next time we’d stay on the other side which seems quiet. Otherwise all was good with a great location.

This was one of the most lovely hotels I have stayed in. From the service at the front desk where you were greeted like family, to the lovely gentleman who helped us with our bags. Good sized room and lovely bathroom. The location near the station was really good so easy to get to the old town by metro. Only point off was the air-conditioning. Even at full blast set at lowest level it has limited affect.

It was a pleasant stay. Awesome for a family. Rooms are large. One bedroom can accomodate 2 adults & 2 kids. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms which made showering efficient.

The location of the hotel is super good, right on the pedestrian street. What's especially considerate is that the two rooms are arranged together with a door in the middle, which is very good! But the price is parking! Let's not talk about parking in big European cities, that's not the hotel's problem.

The French room is as small as usual. There are mosquitoes in the room. Everything else is good. The breakfast is quite rich. The location is good. You can reach any attraction in half an hour on foot.

For the price, this hotel is fantastic. Everyone who works there is really helpful, and everyone speaks English, which is a huge plus for me. My only issue was the air conditioning, or serious lack of it. The week we were in Lyon it was routinely 80-90 degrees F out and the air conditioning in the room didn’t seem to even make a dent in the heat. If there had been AC I would give this place 5 stars...

Beautiful view of the Saone river. And the staff were uniformly helpful, informative and responsive. BUT no TV, no closet, no clear indication of where the entrance to the hotel is from the closest tram stop. Regulating the water temperature in the shower was a challenge because it kept changing. Finally, the location is not the most convenient.

I had an excellent stay. The room was clean and comfortable. I have two minor complaints: I couldn’t figure out how to turn on one of the lights, and the thermostat was set just a tiny bit too low. I would stay here again.

We loved the front desk guy, Tristen. He was so helpful and personable. We loved the restaurant there. We liked that it was convenient to get to the tram. The AC worked amazing, however, you can never take your key out of the wall/ light socket because it will trip the fuse, and you will have to call down every time to get your AC turned back on. This is a neat and funky place to stay. The bread at breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

David was excellent when checking us in. He was helpful with the car parking and other questions. The last morning of our stay we discovered that the elevator was out of service. He quickly and graciously helped us with heavy bags in spite of everything going on. Great location.

Except for the small bathroom in the room and the lack of slippers, everything else is available. The bed is clean and the room is tidied. Remember to hand in the key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and pick it up from the front desk when you come back. You can store your luggage for free. It is very close to Perrache SNCF and UCLY is next to it.

The location is ideal and the welcome is warm. However, the room is cramped and lacks comfort, with a stuffy atmosphere. It would be nice to have a tea and coffee maker available for added convenience.

It's a typical French value-for-money hotel. There aren't any amenities, and you'd be grateful for just a towel... I recommend it only to those who are focused on the price. Don't expect much from the room.

Honestly the hotel is qualitative but the room was small, there are no or very few common areas, it is tight and cramped, the breakfast is really not extraordinary, but otherwise very nice indoor pool and unbeatable location. The value for money is therefore average.

This hotel is very well located in the city center. There's an excellent grocery store directly across the street which was helpful for buying water, wine, and some snacks to keep in our room. We stayed in Room 204 and it was at the end of the hall, away from the elevator. Even though it was street-facing, it was very quiet and we had a mini fridge which was great. Our room had a shower over the bath which you couldn’t get under rendering it useless as a shower. Also there was no ‘rubber’ strip under the shower screen so the floor got soaked. The garage was unavailable so had to park in road. It was ok and saved €50!

This is a capitalist facility, you can't talk to anyone, especially in other languages then French. But it's a non stop business, so you can book and check in at late hours. The breakfast is a "petit" one.

A basic hotel in a fairly useful area for getting trains and the metro. Some nice cafes etc nearby. Would recommend if looking for something basic in the future.
