Novotel

Another good stay in Montpellier with my sweetheart Michelle. Our room was comfortable and there had been a refurbishment since our last stay. The hotel is convenient for the Autoroute and very close to the Garcia Lorca tram station which gives easy access to the city and the Montpellier tram network. The parking is ample and overall a very good choice of hotel.

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The pool area was stunning—clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The water was just the right temperature, and there were always enough loungers available. What really stood out, though, was the on-site restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a varied menu and high-quality ingredients. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. I would definitely return!

Stayed in the newly refurbished Novotel Montpellier for 5 nights in early July 2025. The hotel is neatly decorated and furnished with an adequate pool. The restaurant is above average for a hotel of this standing with daily imaginative salads plus the usual fayre. All presented and served well. I'd recommend a visit to this city and whilst exploring stay at the Novotel.

I thought this hotel was fabulous. The breakfast choices were vast, and the pool was spacious and a perfect temperature. The rooms were clean, but they were a bit small, kids even got a free teddy when signing in! It had very nice surroundings and had lots of nature! I would highly suggest coming!

The hotel itself was very good, with the pool being quite big, clean and warm, the breakfast buffet was decent though there were a few problems like bad scrambled egg quality and complex coffee machines but beyond that it was lovely. The lobby and guest facilities were all clean and nice, aswell as the room, which, despite being rather small, was not unpleasant. The toilet is in a different room to the shower and doesn't have a lock which is a bit displeasing so I would advise to consider this when booking. As for the location, as far as we discovered in our 1 night stay, it was not amazingly located, as it was 10km from the beach that we went to which seemed to be the main one in Montpellier. It was also about a 20 minute drive from a retail park with a amazing aquarium that we visited along with multiple restaurants and other food establishments, a large IKEA, Decathlon and ******. This hotel was probably the best that we stayed at out of 4 and I would recommend it for families and couples.

We have stayed at the Novotel in Montpellier many times, normally en route to Spain. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and can be easily accessed from the autoroute. Garcia Lorca tram station is a short walk away and the tram stops right in heart of the vibrant and lively city centre. The room wasn’t anything fancy but was very clean and comfortable. The bar and reception areas have been refurbished the staff were very welcoming and helpful. During our stay, we had to move rooms due to a leak from the air-conditioning unit, this was dealt with efficiently and without drama. The car park is secure with ample spaces.

An extremely modern hotel, with free parking, a bar, restaurant which serves good breakfast with a good choice of food for dinner. The hotel room was spacious, had AC/Heating controls inside of the room and had a mini fridge, along with tea/coffee making facilities.

In fact the only problem is that the renovation work was not mentioned beforehand
