Montpellier, Allee JulesMilhau, Immeuble le Triangle 🧭 Map
Location is very good. It is in the city centre. The room is clean with a sofa bed. For people who want to make a cup of tea, there is no kettle anyway.
Good hotel in a great location with great staff
Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was constantly replenished. The reception area was welcoming, cool and spacious. The rooms need a little updating, more specifically the bathrooms. The location of this hotel is perfect.
Didn’t live up to expectations.
The pictures on line are misleading. Felt more like a private room at a hostel than a nice hotel. In need of some serious upgrades, and in need of deeper cleaning ( especially in the bathrooms).
The staff is very nice and accommodating.
I stayed for a week in early June for a conference. The hotel is very conveniently located, near the Place de la Comedie, train station, tram stop, city centre, and Polygone shopping centre. The room was basic, but had exactly what I needed with nothing unnecessary.
Breakfast was plentiful and varied, giving me plenty of time to get to my conference venue.
The bar gave me a nice opportunity to wind...
Standard room, clean and tidy as expected with Ibis, the location is perfect, just in the heart of the city. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Very attentive stuff making up for any shortcomings. I enjoyed the location in the center although finding it was a bit of a maze considering the many levels of the parking and the establishment.

Another good stay in Montpellier with my sweetheart Michelle. Our room was comfortable and there had been a refurbishment since our last stay. The hotel is convenient for the Autoroute and very close to the Garcia Lorca tram station which gives easy access to the city and the Montpellier tram network. The parking is ample and overall a very good choice of hotel.
I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The pool area was stunning—clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The water was just the right temperature, and there were always enough loungers available. What really stood out, though, was the on-site restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a varied menu and high-quality ingredients...
Stayed in the newly refurbished Novotel Montpellier for 5 nights in early July 2025. The hotel is neatly decorated and furnished with an adequate pool. The restaurant is above average for a hotel of this standing with daily imaginative salads plus the usual fayre. All presented and served well. I'd recommend a visit to this city and whilst exploring stay at the Novotel.
I thought this hotel was fabulous. The breakfast choices were vast, and the pool was spacious and a perfect temperature. The rooms were clean, but they were a bit small, kids even got a free teddy when signing in! It had very nice surroundings and had lots of nature! I would highly suggest coming!
The hotel itself was very good, with the pool being quite big, clean and warm, the breakfast buffet was decent though there were a few problems like bad scrambled egg quality and complex coffee machines but beyond that it was lovely. The lobby and guest facilities were all clean and nice, aswell as the room, which, despite being rather small, was not unpleasant. The toilet is in a different room to...
We have stayed at the Novotel in Montpellier many times, normally en route to Spain. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and can be easily accessed from the autoroute. Garcia Lorca tram station is a short walk away and the tram stops right in heart of the vibrant and lively city centre. The room wasn’t anything fancy but was very clean and comfortable. The bar and reception areas have...

Montpellier, 190 Rue D'argencourt 🧭 Map
This is our 5th time staying here and they never disappoint. Lovely rooms and great staff that is always welcoming and smiling. Definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel is in a great location for central Montpellier. The hotel is modern and well laid out. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is an attractive pool terrace for dinning and drinks. The pool itself is a decent size although the layout makes it hard to swim lengths. The breakfasts are pretty good. The drinks are reasonably priced. My only feedback for...
We stayed in an amazing superior suite with outdoor private balcony space. Personally I would have preferred the aircon to go a few degrees lower but can't fault the facilities. The staff were all amazing, friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel with comfortable and convenient rooms, located not very far from Montpellier main station, of course very friendly staff, varied breakfast buffet
Much better inside than the exterior suggests. Clean and cool. Rooms a reasonable size and, certainly on the top floor, it was quiet. Staff friendly with good English. There is a small pool and gym, but it is essentially a business hotel. Not to far from a team stop.
Nice ambience and friendly staff. Great location, nice outdoor pool with bar/restaurant yet easy walking to the city and underground parking. Room a little small for two people but has everything and bed/bedding extremely comfortable. Shower water pressure could be stronger

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, perfect location between the train station and Place de la Comédie. Classic features stylishly decorated, with imagination and a sense of humor. Great value for your money.
This is our second stay at the Hotel Royal.. one our first stay our ground floor room was exceptional… this time our 2nd floor room had many problems. The air conditioning did not work,.. the faulty toilet door was difficult to manoeuvre and made enough noise to wake the dead! The shower door kept falling off its rail!
Perfect stay
We had a wonderful trip and this hotel was perfect! It was in a great location and it had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!
Very nice hotel. Big clean family room with working air condition. The breakfast was really good. Hard to get to by car though. We had to carry our luggage for a couple of blocks. Can recommend the Saint-Roch parking garage where you also will get a discount from the hotel.
Really nice hotel and amazing location. The basic room is not great , but once upgraded it was excellent. The basic room had no shower and the bathroom needed a huge upgrade/ renovation. I really enjoyed the stay once upgraded.
Strategic location.
A deal with a nearby parking lot made parking convenient.
Friendly and always available staff.

Air conditioner wasn’t cooling enough.
The room and hotel were clean. The room had all the amenities necessary for a family stay, including a fridge and microwave. The location is great, and the tram stop is right in front of the hotel.
Self-driving tours provide parking spaces right next to the hotel, easy to park, the room is large and comfortable with a balcony, not far from the city center for shopping, the counter service is friendly and easy to communicate!
<Location>Right in front of the tram stop. It is recommended to buy a ticket at the train station and take the tram. (It takes about 20 minutes on foot from the train station, the map app is not accurate, and there are many obstacles such as stairs, so it can be difficult and take a lot more time.) It takes about 20 to 30 minutes on foot to the Comedy Square. <Facility> It is not fancy, but it is equipped...
The hotel service is very good. It is very responsible for checking in for business trips and assisting in issuing relevant bills.
The room is relatively large in foreign countries. The first floor is very quiet. It is cost-effective for temporary overnight stay. There are a variety of food nearby. The tram at the door is a scenic spot.

ibis Sud Hotel
Montpellier, 164 Avenue de Palavas 🧭 Map
This is a lovely ibis, with fully refurbished bedrooms with access to air conditioning. The staff were friendly. However, communication could have been better. On one of the days we stayed, the restaurant was closed, but there was no notice to show this; apart from this, it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed the three days we visited.
Six of us stayed here before and after a penichette cruise. It’s standard Ibis, at least adequate, although the ground floor corridor is dark, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a tram stop a couple of minute’s walk away, from where all parts of the city can be reached. Breakfast was very good, apart from the hot water not being up to making British tea. The bar is nice, but we found...
The room was super noisy, lots of doors banging in the morning, and I guess everybody in the rooms above me was wearing stiletto heals on the wooden floors in the early morning hours! Impossible to have a late relaxing morning. The staff was super friendly, with one exception: With my loyalty card I am being offered a free drink. I ordered a beer and the bar tender was about to pour it, when his supervisor...
We stayed with our family (incl. 3 kids) for one night. Friendly staff, very good restaurant (delicious poké bowl) and healthy breakfast. Comfortable room and clean bathroom. Football table for the kids.
Cheap and basic, but ticked all the boxes we had for a stop between Barcelona and the alps. Clean and tidy. No complaints.
Great hotel, friendly staff and good amenities in the room and common areas. The only bad thing is the parking spot that you have to walk all the way around to get to. Taking the metro is easy enough to go downtown and the station is nearby.

Just top level hotel in Montpellier. Great staff. Great service
It is better to choose American chain hotels in Europe. The rooms are large, the beds are large, the breakfast is rich, and bottled water is provided in the room, so you don't have to run to the corridor to get water. But the cleaning is average. The location requires driving to get to the old city.
The room is spacious, the facilities are relatively new, the scenery in front of the door is nice, the breakfast is very good, but the air conditioner does not seem to heat
The room was big and the bed was comfortable
Although the room is not big, it is clean and tidy. The breakfast is pretty good. The parking fee is 15 euros a day. You need to swipe the parking ticket to enter the parking lot, which makes you feel safe. It is also very convenient to go to the old town. The station is basically opposite the door. I recommend people who drive to choose this hotel
Super helpful staff who helped us resolve our problem with the car. It's the most helpful staff that I encountered in all my travels. Thank you very much!
As for hotel it met all expectations - comfy room with nice terrace, great breakfast and good location - not far away from main attractions but quite and peaceful.

Hotel is well located near town centre & Corum.
Rooms are clean and confortable, staff was very helpful & friendly.
Overall a good stay with friendly service and a fine room. The biggest downside was the huge, modern TV that turned out to be almost useless since it doesn’t allow Netflix or streaming. Adding a simple cast/USB stick would make a huge difference and really add value. Other than that, everything was fine and comfortable.
I only stayed one night. The room was fairly clean and no carpet ( I prefer). Looks like just got remodeled. It’s very close to the main shopping and restaurant areas. The reception was also good. For the time I stayed, I don’t have big noise problem. Very few times I heard people shutting the door or walking. But I found many hotels have this problem. The best I like is the free WiFi with...
After my first night the cleaning staff had left a dirty cleaning towel on the bathroom sink and the cups in the room had lipstick stains, which was not acceptable. The location of the hotel is great, near the train station and city center but the hotel needs to improve the cleanliness.
Excellent location and service. From the minute I arrived till when I left the staff was attentive, helpful. The property is clean and a proximity of the beautiful place de la comedie.
Stores 1 minute walking distance.
The restaurant /Bar is top notch. The food is well presented, delicious. A symphony at every bite.
The location of this hotel is great and the staff very accomodating. However, our room was very hot and although the staff turned off the heat to oyr room, it as still quite warm. We were advised that air conditioning was not available until the following week.

Lovely hotel and lovely service. When I arrived the lady at the desk was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are very 'spa' like and luxurious. I had a great stay over 2 nights this weekend. The location is perfect for a weekend trip: only 2 minutes’ walk from the train station and 6 minutes from the city center.
The room was clean and well arranged, breakfast was decent, and the pool was very enjoyable during the hot weather.
The restaurant and staff were excellent — nothing to complain about!
Location was great! Room was more spacious than I expected. It was all pretty clean and tidy. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The only issue I had was with the flushing of the toilet. But to be fair, I did mention it to the reception staff and they sent someone up to look.
Loverly stay in beautiful hotel with very kind helpful staff
Excellent hotel on great location. Very friendly staff, modern hotel room with great bathroom and good climate control.

The Hotel Acapulco comprises three floors of what were the servant's quarters in a beautiful bourgeois house well located near central Montpellier. A little Oasis. A tranquil bamboo lined walled garden which is secured at night gives this place a secure feel. It is a little tired but most places have been battered by a down turn caused by Covid. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, sheets were spotless, coffee was hot and free....wot is not to like. Stairs might put some off but I would certainly stay again.
Biggest plus is the AC and private bathroom. Wifi is basically non existent unless you’re in the garden area but watch out for mosquitoes. Receptionist is very nice and helpful. Also, it’s a little hard to find for the first time going there.
Decent hotel with adequate facilities. The infrastructure isn't the best but cleanliness is top. The staff is really polite, helpful and welcoming. I had a great time here, rested very comfortably. Thanks a lot! 😇

The black toilet was vile… room 109.
Breakfast basic.

Aging hotel but nice staff. We ended up getting pizza delivered so we could eat on the terrace. The receptionist offered us napkins as we didn’t get from the delivery guy. He was a very nice tall guy. Maybe hôtel could be a bit cleaner. There is a funny odor in the hallway. Was perfect for a night. Easy to park. Easy to order pizza for a fast meal during our road trip.

Value for money as budget hotel for budget traveller. Although room size a bit small but still manage to accommodate 3 people and their luggage. Location not in city center but still accessible by tram.
Great hotel for stopping on the way. Closed, well illuminated, surveilled parking for cars, and even closed spaces for bike or moped parking. The rooms are good for the price too. A tram stop nearby will bring you to the city center in no time while your car is safe.
