Another good stay in Montpellier with my sweetheart Michelle. Our room was comfortable and there had been a refurbishment since our last stay. The hotel is convenient for the Autoroute and very close to the Garcia Lorca tram station which gives easy access to the city and the Montpellier tram network. The parking is ample and overall a very good choice of hotel.

Stayed in the newly refurbished Novotel Montpellier for 5 nights in early July 2025. The hotel is neatly decorated and furnished with an adequate pool. The restaurant is above average for a hotel of this standing with daily imaginative salads plus the usual fayre. All presented and served well. I'd recommend a visit to this city and whilst exploring stay at the Novotel.

I thought this hotel was fabulous. The breakfast choices were vast, and the pool was spacious and a perfect temperature. The rooms were clean, but they were a bit small, kids even got a free teddy when signing in! It had very nice surroundings and had lots of nature! I would highly suggest coming!

Very good hotel in a central location

Better than expected! The hotel environment is very unique. The room is spacious and bright, the facilities are new and well maintained, the shower water pressure is sufficient, and the sound insulation is good. The staff service is particularly good. The breakfast is worth a try. Highly recommended!

The room is clean, everything works perfectly. There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave and sink. Very large bathroom with a shared shower and toilet. One large bed for us parents and a fold-out sofa for our son. Very tasty breakfast - buffet: sweet, salty, juices, coffee, tea. We really liked the room, although from the outside the hotel needs a little restoration from mold.

Because we went to Andorra, it was already 2 am when we arrived at the hotel. The front desk was very welcoming and checked us in quickly, so we could rest quickly. The breakfast in the morning was also good. The only problem was that the slope of the garage was too steep and we almost couldn't drive up.

We had a 2-night, one day stay in mid-October. The location is excellent, close to public transportation and the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful. We used the fitness room twice. I had a great stay over 2 nights this weekend. The location is perfect for a weekend trip: only 2 minutes’ walk from the train station and 6 minutes from the city center. The room was clean and well arranged, breakfast was decent, and the pool was very enjoyable during the hot weather. The restaurant and staff were excellent — nothing to complain about!

Location was great! Room was more spacious than I expected. It was all pretty clean and tidy. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The only issue I had was with the flushing of the toilet. But to be fair, I did mention it to the reception staff and they sent someone up to look.

Beautiful place and the hotel gifted us a bottle of wine that was made from their vineyards. Close enough to Montpellier city but tucked away for some serenity. Nice toiletries too. This is a lovely ibis, with fully refurbished bedrooms with access to air conditioning. The staff were friendly. However, communication could have been better. Aging hotel but nice staff. We ended up getting pizza delivered so we could eat on the terrace. The receptionist offered us napkins as we didn’t get from the delivery guy. He was a very nice tall guy. Maybe hôtel could be a bit cleaner. There is a funny odor in the hallway. Was perfect for a night. Easy to park. We liked the vibe of this boutique hotel. The location was convenient. The complimentary afternoon tea was a real treat and made the stay feel more special. I would have given 5 stars for the room, however unfortunately our pillow cases had a damp/sweat smell, so hopefully this gets resolved for future stays. Thanks for the experience.

Very calm and beautiful place to sit and have a coffee. The waitress is very nice and speaks in English too if you need. They do not have iced coffee, but When I ordered, they were so keen in preparing one for me. Recommended !

My wife and I only stayed here for one night during our visit to Montpellier. The hotel is beautiful and the service is great, it’s all typically French design - like you see in movies and sitting outside at the front having the hotel breakfast was a highlight. Highly recommend staying here, it’s in a very good location and you can park in the public park house across the main road.

A charming little hotel in a great neighborhood. Staff were quite friendly and helpful, allowing me to keep my bike in a side room overnight. The room was small but clean and the AC worked surprisingly well for an older building. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming staff, despite late arrival. Quite accommodating and polite. Good communication prior to arrival. We arrived late, but were received very friendly. Since shops were closed, the staff was very kind to provide both fruit and bread/cheese/jam for us. The breakfast was rather modest, but it was nice and tidy.

The parking feels safe (although I think the exit is completely open?) and there is even a bike cage, so it is perfect for people travelling with a full car. Great hotel for stopping on the way. Closed, well illuminated, surveilled parking for cars, and even closed spaces for bike or moped parking. The rooms are good for the price too. A tram stop nearby will bring you to the city center in no time while your car is safe.
