Another good stay in Montpellier with my sweetheart Michelle. Our room was comfortable and there had been a refurbishment since our last stay. The hotel is convenient for the Autoroute and very close to the Garcia Lorca tram station which gives easy access to the city and the Montpellier tram network. The parking is ample and overall a very good choice of hotel.

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The pool area was stunning—clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing in the sun. The water was just the right temperature, and there were always enough loungers available. What really stood out, though, was the on-site restaurant. Stayed in the newly refurbished Novotel Montpellier for 5 nights in early July 2025. The hotel is neatly decorated and furnished with an adequate pool. The restaurant is above average for a hotel of this standing with daily imaginative salads plus the usual fayre. All presented and served well. I'd recommend a visit to this city and whilst exploring stay at the Novotel.

I thought this hotel was fabulous. The breakfast choices were vast, and the pool was spacious and a perfect temperature. The rooms were clean, but they were a bit small, kids even got a free teddy when signing in! It had very nice surroundings and had lots of nature! I would highly suggest coming!

Very good hotel in a central location

Better than expected! The hotel environment is very unique. The room is spacious and bright, the facilities are new and well maintained, the shower water pressure is sufficient, and the sound insulation is good. The staff service is particularly good. The breakfast is worth a try. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Oceania Montpellier! The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and beautiful with large windows that opened for some fresh air. Thermostat is able to be controlled or set for each room for comfort and blackout curtains made it easy to sleep after a long flight. I was late arriving due to flight issues. My daughter had been in Montpellier for 2 months and had to move out of her apartment. I was so relieved to not lose my room and she could still stay there until I arrived. Hotel was beautiful. If I come back, I’d stay here again!

We were going to have breakfast in the morning and for the price we expected a much greater choice of hot food and coffee choice. Most other hotels we have visited give you a choice of eggs, poached, boiled or scrambled. It was very limited so we went up the road.

This is one of the places I stayed in France next to Paris. Montpelier at the times of my visit, March 2024, was a very good weather conditions and I really enjoyed my time at the Hotel. But shuttle services at the Hotel is unavailable which needs much attention though it is accessible on foot with a walking distance from the train station.

I recently stayed here and while the location and overall service were decent, I was disappointed with the bathroom facilities. The bathroom is extremely small, making it very uncomfortable to move around. It felt cramped and impractical, which negatively impacted my stay. For the price, I expected a more functional and spacious setup. This is something the management should seriously consider improving

Beautiful place and the hotel gifted us a bottle of wine that was made from their vineyards. Close enough to Montpellier city but tucked away for some serenity. Nice toiletries too. We stayed in an amazing superior suite with outdoor private balcony space. Personally I would have preferred the aircon to go a few degrees lower but can't fault the facilities. The staff were all amazing, friendly and helpful.

We liked the vibe of this boutique hotel. The location was convenient. The complimentary afternoon tea was a real treat and made the stay feel more special. My wife and I only stayed here for one night during our visit to Montpellier. The hotel is beautiful and the service is great, it’s all typically French design - like you see in movies and sitting outside at the front having the hotel breakfast was a highlight. Highly recommend staying here, it’s in a very good location and you can park in the public park house across the main road.

Ok for few nights. You can get hot water in the bar, store your food in shared fridge at reception and use microwave there too. Iron, ironing board and hairdryer could be borrowed there as well. The parking feels safe (although I think the exit is completely open?) and there is even a bike cage, so it is perfect for people travelling with a full car. Nice place, has restored my faith in Ibis. Location a short block from Place de la Comedie is excellent, and it isn't much of a walk to get to the other popular area around the Arc de Triomphe.
