L’hôtel est magnifique le personnelles est très agréable , dans la chambre en arrivant il y a des sachets de café et de thé la chambre est propre la salle de bain aussi c’est magnifique la télé est fonctionnel et le lit très confortable. Il y a aussi du gel douche à disposition le petit déjeuner est copieux, dommage le champagne n’est pas disponible le vendredi soir. Je recommande l’hôtel vaux le prix

Points positifs sont la position à - 10’ à pied de la Gare de Rennes, l’accueil chaleureux du personnel et le confort de la chambre privilège grâce à un surclassement. Malheureusement la TV ne fonctionnait pas, et le look /style de l’établissement n’est pas très moderne.

This was a stopover on the way to St Malo. It served its purpose. The hotel staff try quite hard but we were left with the sense of the hotel being simply functional. No real charm involved in this property. The shopping area next door was noisy during the night. There is no parking associated with the hotel but there is an arrangement with the local public underground car park about 7 minutes walk away. It wasn't very good value for money.

If the size of the room (418) justifies the 4 stars, for the bathroom all the stars disappear Tartar and traces of stools in the toilets :-( (no brush) decrepit earthenware with holes quickly filled in , a shower screen which clearly has accumulated several years of tartar and limescale, a ceiling repainted without sanding and clearly without cleaning, and the shower gel dispenser was empty in short...this room was surely worthy of a 4 star 25 or 30 years ago! Only a kettle and soluble coffee sticks :-( a hearty breakfast..radish and cucumber for breakfast why not..but fresh fruit would have been welcome a very disappointing stay

Always a friendly welcome in this hotel where I am truly at home They had even postponed work so that we could have our favorite room Too bad no restaurant but there is a brasserie and a Thai grocery store next door It is always clean and the staff adorable B Same decoration in the knight of the round table style See you soon

For the good points, comfortable bed, pleasant staff, well soundproofed room especially when you are on the right side, that is to say in the rooms not overlooking the Colombier slab. On the other hand, somewhat limited carpet in the room and really aging sanitary facilities.

It is about 700 meters away from Rennes train station and it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the old town of Rennes. The hotel room is of a decent size, but the facilities are relatively simple, basically there is nothing, and the towels are thin and the hair is washed off. This price is not worth it.

This Mercure is well situated in Rennes, close to the train station. The staff is very nice and the rooms are well appointed. The rooms are typical for Mercure but, contrary to other Mercure I have stayed at, you thankfully do not hear your neighbours! Breakfast is varied and good. No restaurant but you can go to La Taverne around the corner.

Stayed for almost 25 days... locationwise superb with metro station in front nd mall behind the hotel..the rooms r very spacious nd well maintained .. the only shortcoming I felt was the width of the bed which was quite less.. the AC didnt cool properly.. my suggestion is that they provide stand fans keeping in mind the summer heat nowadays in Europe.. overall i liked the hotel...
