Comfort Aparthotel Toulouse Metropole

We were given this hotel by a package holiday we had booked, told it was a lovely hotel 4* with pool. When we arrived we were greeted by rude staff who simply told us the rooms not ready come back later. In the middle of the day when it's 28 degrees outside, we don't know the area and there's nothing to do surrounding this hotel we were just left on our own. Location is awful, it's rough and dirty and we did not feel safe, right next to airport so very noisy and dusty. I asked if we could leave our luggage somewhere until we could go to the room, the only option was to leave in a dirty old boiler room which was not safe. The hotel was empty so i found it hard to believe a room wasn't available at the supposed check in time. Couldn't use the pool as out of order. Only people hanging around outside were smokers. The reception and pool area were dirty, broken steps etc, to be honest 3/4 star is pushing it this is more like a 1 star hotel i would not recommend! This hotel is not as described, we ended up having to find a last minute villa on AirBnb as we could not stay here very disappointed.
