Mama Shelter Toulouse

My experience at The Mama Shelter was phenomenal. The cozy, rustic decor made me feel right at home. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me with everything I need. I truly enjoyed a staying there. Beds were comfortable. The live band on Sundays is amazing and adds a wonderful touch to the dining experience. It was a perfect evening, and I can't wait to come back! I highly recommend!!!!!

Always excellent and professional service ! Food is good and ambiance is perfect. Special thanks to Joao and Isabelle for being superstars.

I checked in and Mya at the front desk enthusiastically showed us her favorite spots in Toulouse. She wasn't wrong about any of the ones I got around to visiting; clearly she has exquisite taste. In the restaurant, Natacha was so friendly, the kind of person you just want to high-five all the time. There was a guy on the rooftop bar whose name I don't remember, so obviously I don't deserve a positive review, but he does. And that's just the staff! The room was very comfortable and clean, the dessert at the restaurant was delicious. I peeked my head into the movie theater and it was really cool! Unfortunately I didn't travel 4283 miles to watch an animated film about training dragons. But I would definitely come back to Mama Shelter Toulouse for my next trip!

Nice stay at Mama Shelter, but I think this is more in the 3 star vs. 4 star category. My highlight was enjoying sunset at the rooftop bar. I stayed in a classic double room, which was a little small, although the bed was very comfortable. AC wasn't working but to be fair, I didn't raise with the front desk. The rooms are a little cramped and lacking some basic amenities. E.g. no toothbrush / toothpaste in the bathroom. In the shower, just a "2-in-1" soap bar is provided for shampoo and bodywash (no liquid shampoo, bodywash or hair conditioner). This felt a bit cheap... Also no drinking water in the rooms. Mini bar is empty and no glasses/dishes/cutlery provided if you want to order takeout. Breakfast was good with a large variety of options.

Stayed for two nights on business with a colleague, very friendly and helpful staff and comfortable room with amazing pillows! Breakfast is fantastic with a good choice of hot and cold selections.
We eat in the restaurant one night which was also excellent with a good choice of wines.
I won't hesitate to come back.

Very good place to eat on the rooftop for tapas and shared food or on the restaurant downstairs for a full meal. I really enjoyed it. The staff was very nice so we had a great time. My mom complained about the pork because she had more fat and not really edible greasy stuff than actual meat but I didn't have that problem with my beef.

The bar is truly wonderful, as was the breakfast. Staff where also super helpful.
Downside is that the bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows too thin. We were on the 4th floor but the noise out in the street kept us up in the early hours.
Not sure we would stay again as we also had difficulty in booking but we would be back to visit the bar

I had a great visit to Mama Shelter when we were in Toulouse.

We went on a Sunday evening which also hosted live music which was exceptional and provided a great atmosphere.

The food selection looked good, and we settled with the mixed sharer board which we found to be great alongside a baked camembert.

We tried out a few cocktails and they all tasted great so overall a brilliant evening. If you are looking for something similar while in Toulouse, I highly recommend.

Such friendly staff, great atmosphere they were able to create. From the fun bar/restaurant downstairs to the incredibly decorated rooftop (with phenomenal food especially the pizza and chorizo croquettes) and even a cinema in the basement! Not to mention the perfect location, I highly recommend staying here for a good time in Toulouse.
