Very nice hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy (bath and double bed =)). Great location, opposite the train station and the street behind the main shopping street. Easy accessible parking with lift and reduced price if you are coming from the hotel. Personal care (lady at the reception and very nice cleaning lady) breakfast = buffet (many options) I recommend it !

Our bed had bed bugs which is horrific. It's advertised as a 4 star but in reality is a 3, the lobby is dingy, dated and looks unclean. Our wardrobe was missing knobs so you could only open half the doors, the desk was peeling really badly, the Internet was patchy, one can of water was offered when there was teo of us, no mini bar and every time the cleaner knocked on the door she was really aggressive, it was more of a banging rather than a knock.

Location, service and cleanliness are all good. Because it is an old hotel, the facilities are not very good, but it is not inconvenient.

I enjoyed my room in this hotel very much, sadly my dad had a different experience. Every room in the hotel is different according to staff meaning that for the same price people are getting completely different rooms. In my case my room was so much nicer than my fathers he went down to reception to change rooms. Though I do appreciate the fact that they gave my father a similar room to mine immediately after he asked for one. Overall if there are no other good hotels in the area I would recommend the (Grand Hotel De Tour) to someone visiting.

Well located for the train station although a little bit out of the main town. We had a slight false start after being given a room yet to be cleaned and then our new room stunk of smoke, although this was rectified by opening the windows for a bit. The rooms were quite large which was a nice change. Breakfast was disappointing with the breakfast rooms feeling quite cramped and the selection somewhat lacking. There also seemed to be limited small tables with the rest long tables, perhaps to cater for the tour groups that appeared to be clogging everything up.
The bike storage here was great with the bikes being kept in the back of the main hotel with a locked door to outside but easy access from the hotel.

A nice old hotel, where you can relive the atmosphere of the thirties of the 20th century, when it must have been really grand. It has been refurbished, of course, but the rooms still conserve lots of the original elements. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.
