Château Belmont by The Crest Collection Mini-hotel

First of all, I want to give this hotel a bad review overall.
We booked a castle king-size bed room. In the pictures on the Ctrip platform, there was a room with a bathtub. We were originally going to stay in the Loire area, but when we saw the bathtub, considering that there was a lot of walking in Paris and the children could rest in the hotel that day, I chose to drive an extra hour to stay in this hotel.
But when we checked in, we found that it was not only a small attic room, but also had no bathtub. We communicated with the hotel through the Ctrip platform, and the reply was that the room was fully booked that day and there was no other room to change. This is obviously a wrong logic. Since it shows that the bathtub room can be booked, it should be arranged. With the excuse of full room, since the order has been confirmed, it means that our agreement has been established. As a result, a room type that does not meet our agreement was arranged on site. This is obviously not in line with the spirit of compliance with agreements advocated by Europe. This is a fraud.
I want to give a thumbs up to Ctrip here. It has been insisting on helping us communicate with relevant agents and hotels, and finally reached a compensation agreement.
But regrettably, something happened again. I found that the air conditioner in our room did not work. After repeated communication with the hotel, only one of the two air conditioner outlets could produce a weak wind. We had to open the window slightly to sleep, but there was a humming sound of the air conditioner outside the window, which caused us to fall asleep very late.
The next morning, another blow hit. Because we fell asleep late the night before, the child did not wake up until 10:30 the next morning. The hotel reminded us when we checked in that the time for breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was 7-10 o'clock, and the breakfast service for the room could be delivered to 11 o'clock. We communicated with the hotel by phone at 10:45 and asked the restaurant to deliver breakfast to the room, but by 11:03, there was still no breakfast. Considering that we had to drive a long distance to Charles de Gaulle Airport to check in, we really didn't have time to argue with the hotel. We had to check out and leave hungry.
The environment of the hotel is good. The so-called castle hotel is small, but the building is beautiful. There are forests and lotus ponds in the courtyard. There are small frogs on the lotus leaves. The restaurant is open. It is very comfortable to sit in the yard to eat and enjoy the scenery. The hotel also has a small swimming pool. The hardware is good and the environment is also very good. The facilities in the room are also very new, and the bathroom facilities are of good quality.
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain in Tours, with the Loire River at the foot of the mountain and the old town of Tours at the foot of the mountain, about 3.5 kilometers away. Driving down the mountain, you can locate the Tours Church. After dusk, park your car in the parking lot between the church and the castle, which is free. There are various restaurants on the side streets, and there is also a Carrefour open until 10 pm. The restaurants on the street have French, Italian and Syrian cuisine. French cuisine is more complicated, and it is very troublesome if you don't know French. The price per person is about 20 euros. If you want to be safe, go for a simple Turkish kebab.
