Located close to the motorway a few km from the city center provides standard motel facilities. The breakfast was good and the personnel friendly and helpful. Reasonable price. Nothing special but good for an overnight break of the voyage.

Its a hotel for those staying a short night on a long trip. Room is big enough and bed confortable. Everything clean. Free parking and good wifi. So for the price is good. Biggest reason I give four star and not five is because the wall is not thick enough, I can distinctly hear what the neighbors rooms are saying.

Clean, cheap and in good shape. Comfortable beds. Nice for sleeping hotel, not luxurious. Used for one night. Family with two adults + 3 kids fitted in one room. Parking and wifi included.

Clean, with 24h reception, parking gate closed during the night. Only a couple of minutes away from the highway, but super quiet. Due to curfew they organized to supply you with dinner if required.

Nice hotel cheaper if you book directly with them. The European breakfast is good value for money. plenty of places to eat nearby.

This is a very handy hotel if you are tavelling on the Route du Soleil. The service was great, very helpful staff who did their best to get us (two adult &two children)a room. It was a French holiday and almost every thing was fully booked. Clean and practical and the breakfast was very good. Good quality for a great price.

This hotel is a weird combination of updated grace and neglected obsolescence. The interiors have been updated but the structure is obsolete (one elevator for over 100 rooms on three floors, and that elevator at one extreme end of the hallway). Good hotel if you’re travelling south . Close to the highway. Only 5 minutes so perfect. Secure parking space, check in was friendly. Rooms were good for the price ( just a little to small you cannot open you’re luggage only on the bed) but it’s clean and quit to sleep so very good when you’re on the road to somewhere.

Enjoy your stay: the swimming pool, restaurant and outdoor terrace are very well equipped. Restaurant and breakfast with good local products. The decoration is well done and very tasteful. A small drawback: why do you need a robe and a pair of slippers in a double room?

A very beautiful hotel with excellent renovation of the premises, the "chatter" catering was a great surprise for me and my wife due to the quality of the food and service. The welcome and reception staff were very pleasant and were able to meet my expectations. I highly recommend

We stop in the hotel year after year. Closed off parking. Location is ideal close to the park Jouvet and the little town square. All within 5’ walking distance.

I was looking for somewhere to stay on my drive south. Excellent hotel located just off the autoroute in a lovely town with restaurants near by. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Hotel provides secure parking. Book your reservation on their website.

I am very grateful to the housekeeping staff who serviced my room after my departure, and noted the Front Desk staff that I had left my jacket. The Front Office staff notified me, MailBoxes arranged for its delivery to my home, and I thank everyone for the excellent service. Very happy to have my jacket back. Everything about our stay was excellent.

Perfect rooms, great service by multi-language staff and secure parking lot. We always use Hotel de France Valence on our travel to Spain and we are never disappointed.

Staff accueillant. Perfect location. Clean, elegant, comfortable room. Nothing to complain about just that it could be even better if indoor slippers were provided :) Tried to get ones at reception but sadly they seemed to have run out of the supply.

Difficult to find the proper elevator at night in the parking lot. That is literally my only complaint.

Excellent location and restaurant very comfortable stay. For not being able to speak French very well the staff was understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend! I did not rate the parking - I traveled by train and taxi so I did not utilize parking but I’m sure it is well.

We unexpectedly stayed here last year in summer, while going on a trip to Spain. We had a very pleasant stay. The privilege rooms next to the swimming pool are amazing! The swimming pool is amazing, the atmosphere was very good and the staff is nice and helpful. The next morning we had breakfast which was very extensive and neat. We will definitely come again some day.

We use this hotel often as a resting point when traveling onwards to the south and although our stays are usually short, they are always pleasant and making me want to come back for a longer stay! I am quite often in Valence and Clos Syrah is always my first choice: comfortable rooms, great food and breakfast for the value, superb wines from the Cotes-du-Rhone, nice pool, friendly and helpful staff 👍

The hotel is slightly away from the town centre. Whilst officially rated as 4*, I would more accurately class it as an up market motel. Having said that the gardens and pool are very pleasant and our evening meal was very good. Would not like to stay here for more than a couple of nights, but for an overnight stay or two, would recommend.

Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant. Dog-friendly. The larger rooms (two rooms opened up into one) have only one toilet. There is no pathway from the hotel to anywhere, so one must walk next to the main road. The back garden could be connected to a park, but it is not.

We are really happy with our stay. We had to pivot on our travel plans and we grateful we found the Novotel Valence Sud when we did. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Aboyu on the front desk and the waiting staff. The pool was great for a warm day. The food was excellent, I love French food. However, there was a good modern twist added to the menu.

There is no reception. We were looking for reception and asked the restaurant people and they were keep on pointing at the table. And we dint expect this from novotel. Whoever has given a thought to remove the reception desk must be crazy or mad. But then we met the person who did our check inn. Served us very well. Thank you. And he was prompt. But i feel pity on him he was running around the table...

Stayed here a while ago, not exactly in the city center so it’s quieter. Short walk though. Parking in the back is very convenient but don’t bring a large vehicle. People were great & rooms were clean. Would definitely stay here again when I’m lucky enough to return to Valence.

Clean, modern, private. Check in was easy. There is a private parking at the hotel. Breakfast was optional (16€ per person). Everything in the room works perfectly. There were two complimentary water bottle in the fridge, one sparkling and one still. Induction kitchen was also included in the room along with plate and cutleries. Bed was super comfy, there were also extra pillow in the room if needed...

Nicely decorated and clean hotel. We booked a family room which has a second (open) level. Parking is very narrow and there are only 15 spaces: first come, first serve. We arrived around 18.00 h and luckily had the last available spot. Short walk to the centre, but through a few tatty streets.

Really friendly workers, who did everything for having a pleasant stay! We had free drinking water and a lot of other services. Definitely a 4 Star Hotel. Also the breakfast was amazing and all that for a price of 70€ per night!

Nice newly renovated hotel, large clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. The only problems was being woken at 3am by the hour long laundry delivery at the front of the hotel.
