There is no reception. We were looking for reception and asked the restaurant people and they were keep on pointing at the table. And we dint expect this from novotel. Whoever has given a thought to remove the reception desk must be crazy or mad. But then we met the person who did our check inn. Served us very well. Thank you. And he was prompt. But i feel pity on him he was running around the table...

Great place, lovely helpful staff and fantastic experience overall. The kindness here is overwhelming and I loved my time in the hotel. Really worth it. Give it a go!

Great hotel, family and pet friendly... There is a small park just 150m away, so you can walk your dog or take kids to run. Food from restaurant is amazing! It's just infront of a gas station and near a L'Eclerc and a Burger King

This must be the best Novotel we ever stayed at! Lots of easy parking, the rooms exactly as described! The service is amazing and kind, the restaurant is awesome the room exactly as described in the website! Definitely recommended

Good value for money, and a good location when passing through heading for Spain. Has a nice terrace outside where you can enjoy lunch / dinner. Also has a pretty luxurious breakfast buffet to enjoy. Rooms are a bit outdated, but OK if you're just spending a night. Beware if you plan to have dinner here: you need to make a reservation in time!

This hotel is a weird combination of updated grace and neglected obsolescence. The interiors have been updated but the structure is obsolete (one elevator for over 100 rooms on three floors, and that elevator at one extreme end of the hallway). Good hotel if you’re travelling south . Close to the highway. Only 5 minutes so perfect. Secure parking space, check in was friendly. Rooms were good for the price ( just a little to small you cannot open you’re luggage only on the bed) but it’s clean and quit to sleep so very good when you’re on the road to somewhere.

Enjoy your stay: the swimming pool, restaurant and outdoor terrace are very well equipped. Restaurant and breakfast with good local products. The decoration is well done and very tasteful. A small drawback: why do you need a robe and a pair of slippers in a double room?

I was looking for somewhere to stay on my drive south. Excellent hotel located just off the autoroute in a lovely town with restaurants near by. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Hotel provides secure parking. Book your reservation on their website.

I am very grateful to the housekeeping staff who serviced my room after my departure, and noted the Front Desk staff that I had left my jacket. The Front Office staff notified me, MailBoxes arranged for its delivery to my home, and I thank everyone for the excellent service. Very happy to have my jacket back. Everything about our stay was excellent.

Perfect rooms, great service by multi-language staff and secure parking lot. We always use Hotel de France Valence on our travel to Spain and we are never disappointed.

Staff accueillant. Perfect location. Clean, elegant, comfortable room. Nothing to complain about just that it could be even better if indoor slippers were provided :) Tried to get ones at reception but sadly they seemed to have run out of the supply.

Difficult to find the proper elevator at night in the parking lot. That is literally my only complaint.

Having paid in advance, did NOT like having to leave a deposit equivalent to the room price as a guarantee. Also, parking was at the rear of the hotel but was charged to park on their premises

Room is perfectly fine for my needs. I was just looking for a room not so far from highway just for one night and take the road the next morning. Room was sufficiently big for 2 adults and 2 children.

No towel to put on floor when exiting the douche. So very slipery. No seat on the toilet. Breakfast pretty basic.

Hotel was good, secure parking, clean rooms, wifi was working well. TV was not used, as their are no English language channels. Price was high, perhaps due to it being peak season. Breakfast is not worth the money. Skip it and get something else where. The warm options, eggs, bacon, were very disapointing. No eggs, Bacon uncooked. We basically paid 8 euro for a coffee and a crossant. I would stay here...

B&B is a perfect solution for travellers. The rooms are not big, but more than enough for a night. The breakfast ist a buffet and the quality is incredible, there are not much different possibilities to choose, but each of them has a really good quality.

We have stayed at B&B. Valence Sud. Always the same high standard. Always the same friendly owner. We will return again Many thanks.

Chef Anne-Sophie Pic's story is well known and admirable. The food is beautifully presented, flavours have lots of finesse and the service is superb. Definitely a Michelin-starred experience.

You might not understand but for me it was a little like heaven everything was awesome I had no reason to leave and it was the best night of my entire life thanks to one beautiful stranger I'd recommend this place a million times

I am quite often in Valence and Clos Syrah is always my first choice: comfortable rooms, great food and breakfast for the value, superb wines from the Cotes-du-Rhone, nice pool, friendly and helpful staff 👍

The hotel is slightly away from the town centre. Whilst officially rated as 4*, I would more accurately class it as an up market motel. Having said that the gardens and pool are very pleasant and our evening meal was very good. Would not like to stay here for more than a couple of nights, but for an overnight stay or two, would recommend.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke both English and French. They gracefully accommodate families. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. And the extended family enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio together. We have many vegetarians in the family and there were several choices (vegan too!) And dessert was delightful. Well lead out room. The separate toilet room and sink shower room with closet area between is great for two people traveling together.

I've stayed here many times for business. The accomdations are excellent. The styling is very modern and comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic so there is no reason to eat elsewhere and the bar offers a great wine, beer and spirits collection. I find the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful.

Nice newly renovated hotel, large clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. The only problems was being woken at 3am by the hour long laundry delivery at the front of the hotel.

Located close to the motorway a few km from the city center provides standard motel facilities. The breakfast was good and the personnel friendly and helpful. Reasonable price. Nothing special but good for an overnight break of the voyage.

Its a hotel for those staying a short night on a long trip. Room is big enough and bed confortable. Everything clean. Free parking and good wifi. So for the price is good. Biggest reason I give four star and not five is because the wall is not thick enough, I can distinctly hear what the neighbors rooms are saying.

This is a very handy hotel if you are tavelling on the Route du Soleil. The service was great, very helpful staff who did their best to get us (two adult &two children)a room. We arrived here out of the blue after my husband was hospitalised on our coach journey from Spain. The hotel may only be 2 star but the staff and service are 5 star.+. We were welcomed with much kindness and care. The food was good and very fairly priced, English is spoken . Nice atmosphere, it's not wonder they are so busy. Very convenient for train and bus station.

The hotel has a good placement easy to access from the freeway and a Short waæk from the town centrum. The host is very helpful and kind. The coffee is GREAT. There is safe parking for an small extra fee. We enjoyed our stay.
