Best Western Plus Clos Syrah

We unexpectedly stayed here last year in summer, while going on a trip to Spain.

We had a very pleasant stay. The privilege rooms next to the swimming pool are amazing! The swimming pool is amazing, the atmosphere was very good and the staff is nice and helpful.

The next morning we had breakfast which was very extensive and neat. We will definitely come again some day.

Excellent location and restaurant very comfortable stay. For not being able to speak French very well the staff was understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend!
I did not rate the parking - I traveled by train and taxi so I did not utilize parking but I’m sure it is well.

Good location. Free parking. Good restaurant/ dinner and breakfast. Nice room. Very friendly staff.

We use this hotel often as a resting point when traveling onwards to the south and although our stays are usually short, they are always pleasant and making me want to come back for a longer stay! The hotel is ideally situated next to the Route du Soleil with easy access, but far enough to be very calm and with calming green surroundings. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and we usually take one with a patio to connect to the garden with pool. Everyone in the hotel speaks English or entertains my high school French, food and drinks are excellent. Parking area is well lit and closed off at night with a gate. The night manager is very vigilant and always ready to assist when we continue our journey onwards very very early in the morning. We usually stay with a small dog and she is also welcomed warmly. I left a hair gel and was contacted within hours of departure wether they should hold it for my next stay or ship it over, a service which surpasses that of many 5 star hotel. Honestly, this hotel is great!

Pluses: absolutely charming and helpful staff; great location to break a long drive from UK to Italy; pool was fun and food was delicious. Decent beds and pillows.
Could be better: next time i would ask for a room with a balcony/terrace. Our room had small windows and was poorly lit. Totally subjective but the dark grey decor is simply grim. All the food and drink was good but dinner in particular was in my view, pricey.

Comfortable bed, rolling shades on the windows which is great yet still a bit noisy (from the top floor) and a strong smell of disinfectant spray in the room

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Small downside for the music in the clubbing area in the evening which, in our opinion, disturbs the tranquility of the place and is not for all tastes. But the rest is tb. Breakfast a little expensive.

I am quite often in Valence and Clos Syrah is always my first choice: comfortable rooms, great food and breakfast for the value, superb wines from the Cotes-du-Rhone, nice pool, friendly and helpful staff 👍

I've stayed here many times for business. The accomdations are excellent. The styling is very modern and comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic so there is no reason to eat elsewhere and the bar offers a great wine, beer and spirits collection. I find the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful.

The hotel is slightly away from the town centre.
Whilst officially rated as 4*, I would more accurately class it as an up market motel.
Having said that the gardens and pool are very pleasant and our evening meal was very good.
Would not like to stay here for more than a couple of nights, but for an overnight stay or two, would recommend.
