Hotel opened in 1973, renovated in 2009.

Easy to reserve with flexible. Check in was fast and easy, with no waiting. The rooms are large with comfortably sized bathrooms. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast selections were amazing and high quality. The terrace overlooks a nice wooded area and a stream.
I thought it refreshingly honest when the reception agent informed us (during checkin) the outside pool in not heated.

Great hotel, well located and clean with a nice pool as a bonus. I'm very happy that the hotel kept their great breakfast offer and didn't follow the downward offer from most of the other hotels in the ACCOR Group. It would be nice during summer to have a pool bar or a possibility of ordering drinks easily without having to dress up and go back inside to the bar.

Great hotel in Valence!
We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was nice and clean.
The hotel itself looks amazing with a fantastic restaurant that has a view on a small creek with a lot of wildlife to be seen.
The staff here is kind and very polite. We had a blast! Definitely recommend!

Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff, good restaurant. Dog-friendly.
The larger rooms (two rooms opened up into one) have only one toilet.
There is no pathway from the hotel to anywhere, so one must walk next to the main road. The back garden could be connected to a park, but it is not.

Great experience, from check-in which was quick as the check-out and afterwards (as I forgot my personal pillow in the room). The room was spacy, and the breakfast was very complete.
One fundamental matter was the Tesla Superchargers, which was crucial in my hotel choice.
The service afterwards was amazing too. They sent me an e-mail with a photo of my pillow, and I could plan a date for pick-up. As I live 6 hours away and do not pass for Valence often, I choose June to pick it up. I'm confident it'll be safe and really appreciate the effort of the hotel.

I had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, close to the highway. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I appreciated the modern amenities and the cozy atmosphere. Exceptional service from Virginie! We arrived at the hotel late at night and she went above and beyond to help us find a room. She took the matter very seriously and was so helpful - the service was amazing.
This is the third time we've stayed at the Novotel Valence Sud on our travels, and the hotel just keeps getting better every year. The facilities are great and it's a perfect stop on our route. We'll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend this hotel!

We are really happy with our stay.
We had to pivot on our travel plans and we grateful we found the Novotel Valence Sud when we did.
The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Aboyu on the front desk and the waiting staff.
The pool was great for a warm day.
The food was excellent, I love French food. However, there was a good modern twist added to the menu.
