We had a great New Years weekend. 2 nights including 31.12 with a great musical dinner (singer). The spa is perfect for a romantic getaway. The bedroom is large with a 7m ceiling height... impressive. The service is impeccable

Incredible setting, breakfast very complete and quality, restaurant very good. Staff pleasant and unobtrusive. Living room very beautiful and menu pleasant. Pool excellent. Rooms clean and service good. We will gladly return.

I recommend this place. Everything is great. The rooms are carefully decorated, soundproofed and well equipped. The dinner in the brasserie was delicious. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and very varied. And the pool, hammam and sauna are top notch! We spent a fantastic weekend there.

What more can I say, exceptional place with first class service!!! The staff is attentive, the restaurant is exceptional with the chef who comes to ask you if anything is missing. The room is impeccably clean. Camilla, the reservations manager, is exceptionally kind. Everything is perfect!!! 5 stars is not enough, this place deserves another star. Thank you and see you soon.

Beautiful renovation in the heart of Valenciennes. High quality hotel in every aspect. The standard rooms are very modest in size but are okay. Breakfast was good although the small food area got very busy at peak time. The downstairs spa and pool is also stunning.

It was a great stay and the property is obviously beautiful. My only issue is I wish they had informed us that we would be getting an accessible room before assigning it to us.

It’s not a major issue, but it’s just better etiquette to be informed in advance. We did not want to be a hassle so did not bother making a big deal out of it.

Second time in this castle. A beautiful hotel. When booking, all wishes were taken into account. We added room decoration, as discussed. The two-level suites are very impressive in their beauty.

The spa is just superb! Especially the royal signature massage. The wife was in seventh heaven. Simply Paradise! Special respect to you, Manel!

The hotel rooms are nice - the spa is nice too. The pool area is beautiful architecture wise … However the water is a bit cold. We had a massage (duo) and it was very relaxing. The sauna is ok too. The steam sauna needed more steam.

In general the experience is good - the place is amazing in beauty. What needs to be improved is the food! We have been here four times and the lounge food could be better, more variety better done. Really - how hard is it to have an interesting menu? The service is a bit slow - they need more help - more waiters to be able to cover the whole area one has to wait A LOT to get attended … the menu is disappointing in taste and options! The bistro was terrible - for the price the food needs improvement ASAP!

Such beautiful location should have a menu and food level to match. It has to be an overall experience and it lacks in flavor/quality of the food. I mean the hotel is superb - honest food can be superb too and it would make such a highlight for the place. My suggestion to the management would be to review the menu and make it pop!

They would get 5 stars if it wasn’t for the food!

PS: the waiter solved our problem very nicely and he was very attentive and understood that the food did not come out properly as it should have (we had a quality issue with the cesar salad). So thumbs up for a great customer service! ❤️ In the end they contribute to making the experience better!
