Plaza Mini-hotel

This familie run hotel is located in the center of Aegina, very convenient. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, they really make you feel good. The rooms have all necessary commodities and we had a comfortable and very large double bed. There is no elevator, so the only reason not to go to Plaza hotel is if you can’t climb stairs.

Basic but comfortable. We had a balcony room overlooking the harbour and the Peloponnesus beyond - a view to die for. Nicely at the busy centre of things, with a plethora of bars and restaurants just round the corner. The proprietor was a lovely friendly man, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble.

Sea view room, but reservation is required. The scenery is unique in Ainna.

It was my first time to stay in the Hotel Plaza in the Winter and I’d highly recommend it. The rooms are warm, the beds are comfortable and the showers are great. The hotel is situated across the road from the sea and the view from the front is spectacular – summer or winter. There is a small reception which is open until 1am which is particularly good for the single traveller. You couldn’t find a nicer, friendlier family, and they are all about giving you the best service. The reception is a hub for people coming and going and having chats, I met lots of people with interesting stories. Either Sotirios or his sons Yiannis and Eric are there to help you with anything – highly recommended!

A little gem in Aigina! The father and two sons who own this place couldn't have been more kind and helpful!! The room was very clean and near the shops and restaurants. I have stayed for two nights and it was a great experience. Will definitely be staying there again next year when I travel to Greece. Greetings from Montreal.

I planned to stay at the Plaza Hotel on Aegina which was recommended by the "Routard" guide 2022/23. Unfortunately the ferries planned a strike for two days in octobre 2024 so i couldn't reach the island. The Kalamakis family (owner of the hotel) were very gentlemanly and very helpful to find a solution for the problem. A hospitality which has become rare these days and is very much appreciated. Thank you very much!

What a great place with such good hosts!
Yanis the owner together with his team, made sure that the stay of me and my grandpa would be amazing and helped us as mush as they can with everything we need and always with a smile. Great family buissnes! They have 3 different places (plaza, ulrika and 1 more), we were at a family apartment and it was beautiful. Everything is close to the beach. Definetly reccomend coming there. Thank you yannis, manos and all thw team. ❤️

This is 4.66 out of five. The location is amazing. Three minutes to the Temple of Apollo, five minutes to the bus station, and six minutes to the hydrofoil / ferry. Twenty or more restaurants within 10 minutes walk, four of them across the road. The post office is four minutes.

Extremely nice to stay here at Plaza Hotel. The location is beautiful with direct sea view. Spacious rooms and most importantly the best and most welcoming staff! Would highly recommend. The family run hotel will make you feel at home. Best hospitality I’ve experienced in the country!
