The Lucy is lovely hotel in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the shower very good - everything was spotlessly cleaned.

Have stayed here twice and cannot praise the service enough, from allowing an early check in if the room was prepared to late checkout to accommodate a late flight, the reception staff have been exceptional. Together with a perfect location, room with a sea view, and good breakfast included in a reasonable room rate, this place is hard to beat.

I must take exception to several of the reviews that have panned Lucy Hotel. My wife and I are here for a Saturday night stay. We have a clean, well appointed, 5th floor room with a magnificent view of the water. No offensive odours. Pleasant front desk staff. It’s 22:30. Disappointing room for an 11-night stay. Extremely dark with dated furniture and cracking walls. The shower had mould and lacked a proper mixer tap (dual knobs, no single lever). Uncomfortable bed with noticeable springs. Loud bar noise until 1 am (3 am weekends). Housekeeping could be more thorough. The hotel is located in the best area , right on the promenade. So location wise is a big yes but comfort wise is a big big NO. The bed was very uncomfortable.

The location was perfect and the view of the water was breathtaking as well. Special mention to the young lady Maria at the reception desk. Nice and simple rooms close to the most important things and shopping area with beautiful view. Definitely recommend it and will book again in the future.

pros: the receptionists were very nice giving me a lot of recommendations to visit. try to park your car in the harbour not on the parking lot that is situated on the same street with the hotel- the one with yellow. that one costs 15€/day and the one in the harbour is 4€/day. Chalkida is insane with the traffic. cons: the windows were not insulated enough, all the noises from the street you can hear...

3 stars correspond to the great location, seaview and the fair rooms. Apart from that, the staff wasn't that much polite. As for the breakfast, just stay away from it

My stay was in February of 2021 for work reasons. Especially, Stamatis and Maria (employees of the hotel) made everything in their power in order to make our stay pleasant. We were very pleased with their service.

I just spent 7 days in this hotel, this was my second time and it was great, the location is amazing if you want some quiet time but also the city is 10 minutes away. The pool area is excellent, very clean and great service. The beach and the tavernas are 2 min walking. But the strong points is the staff, the ladies at the front desk will do to make you feel at home and treated as family. Thanks again...

Good hotel in a good location overlooking the beautiful bay. Only an hour's drive from the Airport. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful at check in and check out. There are a couple of Taverna's on the seafront. Recommended

Great location if you want to relax and enjoy the beach. The staff is awesome and takes very good care of you. There are 2 swimming pools and within a very short walk to the beach across the street. You are also within walking distance to many restaurants as well. Would stay here again in the future. The summer time can be very crowded so book in advance and park early then walk around.

I can honestly say that I wish I had spent most my time at Chalkida and at John's Hotel, the hotel was far superior then this big named hotel I stayed at. Poor location - if you want to see anything from your room window. Small room. Hotel is renovated. Bar is really nice. Rooms are clean and beds are good and comfortable.

Really good hotel ,the people are friendly, the breakfast was pleasant for two people to have and the room was clean and quiet. We booked a room for two and the bathroom was just as clean. It doesn't have a view of the sea but it's really close to the beach (5-6 minutes of walking) I definitely recommend it

A 2 stars hotel. It is located some meters next to the beach. It has place for car parking and you can reach the shops just by walking. The hotel has it own restaurant and it's bar. Some times the waitress make noise and can interrupt you during your rest hours.

we only stayed for 2 nights but it was a pleasant stay and very quiet even though i expected it to be a little loud it was a beautiful location

Excellent view! friendly stuff (almost no one speaks English though, but very eager to help anyway :-)), breakfast is very basic, and not always fresh, close to the beach. Good value for the money

Very small toilet, almost non existent shower room. I booked a superior family room. Little space to move around. In the confirmation email it was mentioned breakfast included. We booked directly from the hotel site. There was no provision of breakfast. Windows have absolutely zero noise cancelling features & our room was ground floor right on the foot path. Had very disturbed sleep. Booked for 3 nights...

Overall a great experience. The room was basic, but clean and tidy. The bed was good and the service was excellent. On the cons would be the the wooden doors that provided no sound isolation and the sub-par view from the room. All in all a great experience considering the price and location. Good for short stays, or if you just need a place to spend a couple of nights.

Kind and available staff, ready and open for everything. The hotel has got all the basics, including a fridge and air conditioning. It is. Also possible to. Give them the laundry for washing the clothes.

Nice place for It's price in the centre of Chalkida. Make sure you have hot water before you enter the room. The flash of the toilet doesn't work in my room, I had to call the water manually. Not the best quality of mattress. The host was very kind and helped us to park the car, since parking is not guarantee around the hotel. Visit, only, if you have no other choice. I wouldn't recommend it

Really nice hotel set in a beautiful greenery with its private sandy beach, swimming pool, spa and playroom. The hotel is nicely renovated and the staff was very friendly. The only minus was the food ... it could be more tasty.... other than that we had a great stay.

Beautiful location. Beach access. Building shows some mature signs but well maintained and well renovated. Bungalow room was very good, new and well equipped. Lots of levels and stairs.

Our fave resort (so far!) in Greece. It’s absolutely beautiful throughout, with spacious rooms that have a quaint balcony with hammocks and a day bed. Dinner and breakfast buffets were a notch up from the standard buffet one can expect. We really liked this hotel. It’s very cozy with a beautiful green area. The beach is divided into two sections and there is a pier, but be prepared to go up and down steps to access the beach. This is an old hotel that has been given a second life, which we found very charming. It was fun to discover what old items have been retained. We loved our stay here and wish it could have been longer. The breakfasts were amazing. We are both vegetarian and had plenty of options to choose from. Starting the day with shakshuka and a Bloody Mary, what could be better? We had plenty of choice for beds by the pool and beach. It is a silent place, very nice room..very large, it is an apartment...with tv in every room..great viee...with all u need for your holiday..it is ok for family and all type of taste...I like it very much...

Our stay was enjoyable. First of all the view is magnificent. You go out to the balcony and you have a plate of the sea in front of you. The room very clean and very polite, friendly and helpful all of the staff. The breakfast is delicious! Something we especially appreciated and liked the day we left was that even though we left quite early and before they started serving breakfast, they gave us takeout...

It is and still looks like a Greek hotel from the 80s. The room was spacious but not the cleanest, for example there were still hairs in the sink from previous visitors. Service not the best.
