John's Hotel

I am from the UK. Having spent the first half of my trip in Athens and staying at a 5 star hotel over there. I can honestly say that I wish I had spent most my time at Chalkida and at John's Hotel, the hotel was far superior then this big named hotel I stayed at. (Wont say there name) The service from all staff was amazing. There was a young girl at the bar during the day, that was fantastic, good memory for how my wife liked her coffee and was super friendly. The chef was also very nice and their cocktails were sublime, the man that made them, has skills and didnt go light on the alcohol. The rooms and hotel were super clean. The location was ideal, next to the waterfront and a stones throw away from the restaurants and bars. If you are visiting Athens book some time at John's and the waterfront, there is a Gelato place next door with amazing freshly made ice cream and a bakery a little further down, with the best Baclava I have ever eaten. Staying here was the best part of my holiday. I had booked a suite at John's hotel and from the balcony had a nice view of the waterfront.

A friendly and cosy hotel for a very reasonable price, Located in the middle of everything in the city of Chalkida. Clean and confortable rooms, excellent breakfast. Parking available within the building and close by. Easy to reach from Athens International Airport.

Such a great experience staying here while in town visiting family. Our stay was for 5 days, 4 nights and we could not have been happier. The staff were very nice and helpful with every request. Our room was setup with the requested crib upon arrival which was great after travel. The hotel itself was recently renovated and the rooms and common areas were very nice and the hotel bar/restaurant was one of the coolest in the area. Amazing coffee, food and aesthetic. Finally the location is perfect. Right on the paralia and easy to get in and out of. Would highly recommend if you are in Chalcis!

beautiful experience! The room was clean with beautiful decoration. The hotel is located in the city center. The service was excellent. on the ground floor there is a Cafe bar restaurant, with great choices in cocktails and food! the breakfast was rich.

Really nice place, I have been visiting the hotel since Covid. Constantly renovating, extraordinary breakfast, lovely suites!!

The room was renovated and clean. Towels changed every day. Breakfast very good, and with great variety; some local dishes,too. Personnel quite friendly and polite. Furthermore: Very handy central location, a few minutes walk from train station. All-in-all: Much recommended!

We stayed at John's Hotel for three nights and it really was the best hotel experience ever! The staff very friendly and polite, willing to serve us in anything! We also had our dog with us, which they welcomed very sweetly! A truly pet friendly hotel in the heart of the city! Beautifully comfortable rooms, clean and renovated! It is located one step from the most central point of Chalkida, the beach with all the coffee bars. The icing on the cake was the wonderful cafe bar restaurant Mystic located inside the hotel! Relaxing place with the best cocktails! Thank you for this experience!

The hotel is renovated. The quadruple room we stayed in was very nice. The breakfast is good but a bit expensive for its variety Polite and helpful staff It has underground parking for low vehicles (in height) as well as an external parking 2' walk
