Hotels with pool in Chalkida

I must take exception to several of the reviews that have panned Lucy Hotel. My wife and I are here for a Saturday night stay. We have a clean, well appointed, 5th floor room with a magnificent view of the water

When I open the glass door I can here the hubbub of many folks milling about on the pavement There is a rock concert going on across the water, boom, boom, boom

However when I close the glass door it’s quiet in the room

They all seem to taken care of and based on other reviews I think the place was renovated! Now the rooms fit a 4star hotel standard. The view is perfect and the balconies are pretty decent for the price

The staff are reall nice and when I asked for a second card the reception was happy to help me! Recommended visiting, if you are on a budget and like to spend most of your day out in Chalkida

Great hotel and fantastic location! I recently stayed at the hotel with a group of friends and I had to say it was pretty good. The rooms were nice and the bathroom too

My stay was in February of 2021 for work reasons. Especially, Stamatis and Maria (employees of the hotel) made everything in their power in order to make our stay pleasant. We were very pleased with their service.

Nice and simple rooms close to the most important things and shopping area with beautiful view. Definitely recommend it and will book again in the future.

Also the maintenance staff was very helpful and provided us with an extra bed quickly since the fold out couch bed was not working properly. The parking (for a fee and worth it) was very close

We booked a double room and the suite side by side. The suite is very spacious and our family enjoyed it. The suite is more modern than the other room that was dated but the view was key

Really appreciated her positive energy, smile and caring demeanour to make sure we were always greeted with a smile. The hotel is blessed to have her and deserves to be acknowledged

She helped me from the beginning to the end of my stay with everything I needed, and she went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Thank you for everything you did for me

I just spent 7 days in this hotel, this was my second time and it was great, the location is amazing if you want some quiet time but also the city is 10 minutes away

The pool area is excellent, very clean and great service. The beach and the tavernas are 2 min walking

I stayed at Almira Mare this past August and it was the most amazing stay! I loved everything about this hotel! The views from my room were gorgeous. My room had everything I needed and it was extremely clean

Good hotel in a good location overlooking the beautiful bay. Only an hour's drive from the Airport. The breakfast was good and the staff very helpful at check in and check out

The ocean is less than a minute walk, and that is where we swam every day. While sitting at the hotel restaurant or beach bar you can enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean

I can honestly say that I wish I had spent most my time at Chalkida and at John's Hotel, the hotel was far superior then this big named hotel I stayed at. (Wont say there name) The service from all staff was amazing

There was a young girl at the bar during the day, that was fantastic, good memory for how my wife liked her coffee and was super friendly

The chef was also very nice and their cocktails were sublime, the man that made them, has skills and didnt go light on the alcohol. The rooms and hotel were super clean

Having spent the first half of my trip in Athens and staying at a 5 star hotel over there

The room was basic, but clean and tidy. The bed was good and the service was excellent. On the cons would be the the wooden doors that provided no sound isolation and the sub-par view from the room

All in all a great experience considering the price and location. Good for short stays, or if you just need a place to spend a couple of nights

Kind and available staff, ready and open for everything. The hotel has got all the basics, including a fridge and air conditioning. It is. Also possible to. Give them the laundry for washing the clothes.

There was no provision of breakfast. Windows have absolutely zero noise cancelling features & our room was ground floor right on the foot path. If needed to continue l won't extend in this hotel

Nice place for It's price in the centre of Chalkida. Make sure you have hot water before you enter the room. The flash of the toilet doesn't work in my room, I had to call the water manually

Very small toilet, almost non existent shower room. I booked a superior family room. In the confirmation email it was mentioned breakfast included. We booked directly from the hotel site

The pool area is the highlight especially with the sun beds where you can relax all day. Finally, offering the breakfast until 12pm, with a brunch style (Aperol Spritz included) was really nice for a relaxing weekend

Really nice hotel set in a beautiful greenery with its private sandy beach, swimming pool, spa and playroom. The hotel is nicely renovated and the staff was very friendly. other than that we had a great stay

Dinner and breakfast buffets were a notch up from the standard buffet one can expect. Would have liked to have vegan protein options (beans), instead of being told the lasagna had vegan cheese when it wasn’t vegan

Pool was closed for a wedding so couldn’t enjoy but it looked great. This said, we would stay here again!

Beautiful location. Beach access. Building shows some mature signs but well maintained and well renovated. Bungalow room was very good, new and well equipped. Lots of levels and stairs.

My only complaint (not really the hotel’s fault other then the design) is the rooms are noisy with people slamming doors continuously or speaking loudly in the hallways when we were trying to sleep

It is a silent place, very nice room..very large, it is an apartment...with tv in every room..great viee...with all u need for your holiday..it is ok for family and all type of taste...I like it very much...

Only stayed one night but very friendly and professions. Large rooms, modern and we'll kept. No tea or coffee so bring your own. Nice big breakfast selection.

Great location, beach and pool side. Rooms are good too. The service was very different between staff. Nice and quiet most of time but company parties and a wedding ruined the peace and quiet.

Exceptional, recently renovated 4 star seaside resort just an hour away from Athens. The beach bar is unique and the food is great. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend 👌

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, not innovative but kept and clean. The staff is simply lovely, very helpful. We took half board and ate lunch at the pool bar, where in my opinion the food was tastier than the dining room

The pool is lovely, the beach is sandy and excellent for swimming plus there is a volleyball net. The staff were very helpful, patient and kind and were particularly sweet towards children

Only one bar working at evening!? Why!? On Rhodes and everywhere at least 3 bars work at night and also a pool bar. Very good price for money anyway and we would come back 100%

In the end, in the last days, we were put one mattress on these two beds, but still it was unpleasant to sleep almost the entire stay on different beds! In general, the staff was responsive, when the spouse developed an allergy, they quickly found a cure, they said that if it didn’t help, the driver would call the pharmacy on the way to the airport! I have no other comments, it was a paradise vacation

I’m already used to the fact that the review structure is always the same: first the good, then the shortcomings, but I have nothing to write in the second part - lo and behold, we liked literally everything, rarely, but it happens

The area is very well maintained, the food is wonderful, the cleaning is good. The only minus is two separate beds that were connected, it’s such a big minus, it was very uncomfortable to sleep, our requests were ignored

Soulful hotel, everything around is clean and tidy, everything is included at the base, wonderful friendly staff. We have been coming here for the third time and I really hope not the last

It was fine for the given price. The buildings are quite old, but kept in good shape and very clean. There is breakfast included and a small beach. We spent only one night here, but had no issues.

Very nice apartments, a bit outdated but surely very clean. The pool area is great with kids and love that you can have drinks and a bite to eat at the swimming pool. Just a small walk into town

An excellent choice for short vacations. very friendly and helpful stuff. Rooms were huge but a little dated. A very nice swimming pool with an additional kids swimming that was quite big

A small pool is there to keep you cool during hot summer days, in case the gazillion children of the other hotel tenants (and their local friends from Eretria) have not invated the surrounding area

All the basics are there. Nothing luxury, but well done and very clean. Great pool for the size of the hotel. Best is staff. Very welcoming and helpful. Boulevard is within 2 min walking distance.

Very friendly staff who do there upmost to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. They keep things very clean and the hotel is within walking distance of every thing you need. We had a great time with 3 teenage kids

Very beautiful little two stars hotel. The garden is so pretty. We stayed three nights in a comfy and very clean apartment. The staff is very very kind and helpful.

I stayed in the lovely Avantis Suites Hotel with my mum a week ago. We were both so happy that we found this hotel. It's a real gem and we'll definitely be back! I can't stop raving about it to my friends and family

Additionally, a nice surprise was the hotel beach - sandy, clean with an easy and safe access to the water, and no rocks like most beaches in Greece. I could swim for hours without wearing any sandals

There were so many delicious meal options, that we often did not know where to start! The restaurant/bar is situated just on the beach, making it especially beautiful at sunset

you could smell it!! The host was really kind and takes the covid situation reeeeally seriously,trust me ,you re safe! The beds were too comfortable hihi The rooms had its own cleaning stuff to clean ,if you wish! Its less than 1minute to the supermarket and restaurants

A very warm place for accommodation, plain but very clean, the ideal proposal for value of money. Recommended for all the categories and especially to families. Very close to the sea and central beach of Eretria Town

The view was awsome and Athina. She helped us with the bus tickets and with every other request we had. She even shared some of her knowledge and gave a few local and language tips

Great views, comfortable beds, very clean and cozy, but the best thing about Diamanto Rooms is the owner. Athena is nice, smiling and very helpful and the rest is a great addition
