Have stayed here twice and cannot praise the service enough, from allowing an early check in if the room was prepared to late checkout to accommodate a late flight, the reception staff have been exceptional.
Together with a perfect location, room with a sea view, and good breakfast included in a reasonable room rate, this place is hard to beat.

The Lucy is lovely hotel in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the shower very good - everything was spotlessly cleaned.

Great hotel and fantastic location! I recently stayed at the hotel with a group of friends and I had to say it was pretty good.
The rooms were nice and the bathroom too. They all seem to taken care of and based on other reviews I think the place was renovated! Now the rooms fit a 4star hotel standard.
The view is perfect and the balconies are pretty decent for the price.
For the breakfast I expected more. The options were limited for a 4 star hotel and the quality was below the expectations I had for the hotel.
The staff are reall nice and when I asked for a second card the reception was happy to help me!
Recommended visiting, if you are on a budget and like to spend most of your day out in Chalkida.

I must take exception to several of the reviews that have panned Lucy Hotel. My wife and I are here for a Saturday night stay. We have a clean, well appointed, 5th floor room with a magnificent view of the water. No offensive odours. Pleasant front desk staff. It’s 22:30. When I open the glass door I can here the hubbub of many folks milling about on the pavement There is a rock concert going on across the water, boom, boom, boom. However when I close the glass door it’s quiet in the room.

Disappointing room for an 11-night stay. Extremely dark with dated furniture and cracking walls. The shower had mould and lacked a proper mixer tap (dual knobs, no single lever). Uncomfortable bed with noticeable springs. Loud bar noise until 1 am (3 am weekends). Housekeeping could be more thorough. Despite these drawbacks, the front desk staff was professional and incredibly helpful during a personal issue. Overall, overpriced for the quality, but tolerable for a business trip. Not recommended for leisure stays.

Hotel was definitely not a 4 star. Location was amazing, but the room was very poorly looked after and the bed was the worst I've ever slept in.

The hotel is located in the best area , right on the promenade.
So location wise is a big yes but comfort wise is a big big NO. The bed was very uncomfortable.

The hotel deserves better comments than the one I have read. The hotel is ideally located in the centre of Chalkis, right by the water. If you choose a room with view on the water, it is just beautiful! The staff is friendly and helpful. I had submitted them requests and they fulfill all of them. The rooms are spacious, clean and I would qualify them as picturesque seaside with furniture made of wood rather than outdated. I would agree with people mentioning a simple breakfast selection. It is good but maybe too simple and could be improved. Overall the quality/price ratio is great and definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend the hotel 😊

The hotel has a very good location with great sea view
However as it is located near and on top of many bars it is recommended to stay on a high floor room as the noise of the music until late after midnight is rather annoying. The rooms should be rennovated. Our room had a very bad smell coming from the bathroom so we were forced to cancel our 2nd night stay and move to another hotel at the nearby area.

Decent hotel with great scenic view of the lake, bright, restaurants and mountains in the distance. Sitting along the Euripus Strait, which is a narrow channel of water separating the Greek island of Euboea in the Aegean Sea from Boeotia in mainland Greece. Many popular restaurants are along the water. People do fishing from the land and boat. 10mins walk away from the high street shopping area. Taxis are available next to the bright over the lake.
