Moscha Hotel

We had a delightful stay at Moscha Hotel, a charming family-run establishment where the warmth and helpfulness of the staff truly stood out. They accommodated our extra requests with a smile, making us feel right at home. Just a minute's walk from the beach, our room offered a lovely partial sea view that was a joy to wake up to. The breakfast was nothing short of fantastic, and the hotel's pool and sun loungers provided the perfect retreat for relaxation when we weren't exploring the beautiful surroundings or enjoying the seaside.

Absolutely brilliant Hotel! Staff are great, pool is excellent. Everywhere is so clean and maintained. Excellent location for a base to explore the island 🏝️ would highly suggest and recommend this Hotel and resort for a vacation in Rhodes.

Baffles me how this is 2 star hotel, this is better than 4* hotels I have stayed at.

The hotel is in a very quiet zone, near to the beach, but the busy areas of Faliraki are close enough, if you like it. There are three shops nearby for small things, tavernas (Masa Taverna was our favourite) and many, many places to rent a car. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious enough, and they cleaned the room every day. The breakfast has enough specialities for any taste. Over all, it was a very good experience! Thank you, Hotel Moscha!

Room was clean, spacious and modern. Room came with terrace with a view over the pool.
Great location close to Faliraki with nice beaches, bars and places to eat.
Breakfast at the hotel was consistent and of a high quality.
Pool and pool area was clean and pleasant.
Overall had a lovely stay.

We really liked the location of the Hotel: there is a smaller beach just one minute away, it's more quiet than the main beach in Faliraki, which was perfect for us. Our room was right next to the lobby, so we heard when somebody came into the hotel, but it wasn't that bad because we mostly went to bed quite late.

We had some problems with the temperature regulation in the shower, first we thought there was no warm water at all, but after some time it worked.

A rack to hang the towels and a safe would have been nice, breakfast was plenty and staff very friendly.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week. We think it was an adult hotel which was perfect for us and suitable for couples. Lovely modern hotel and the owners were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were nice and a good size. The shower/bathroom is a wet room and the shower was a good temperature and easy to use with a big shower head. The only thing the rooms didn’t have was a safe, but I’m sure if you asked they would provide you with one. Lovely pool area and the breakfast was nice with a good selection. The hotel was 3 minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walk to the strip which was perfect as the strip is very loud and noisy at night with all the party goers. If I ever come back to Faliraki I would stay here again. Thank you Stamos and family for the lovely stay!

Our stay:
We (younger couple) stayed at Moscha Hotel for two weeks during the second half of July 2021.

Location:
Hotel Moscha is located in a calm and relaxed area 10 minutes walk outside from the busy city centre of Faliraki. The beach is located right near the Kathara beach and it takes 30 seconds to get there.
It is also in close proximity to the Mantomata Beach (Nudist) and you can take a challenging hike through the hillside to get to the Anthony Quinn Bay and Ladiko Bay.
A bus stop with frequent connections to Lindos and Rhodos is one minute away.

On the way to Faliraki you pass several good restaurants that aren't filled with loud tourists.

Owner and personal:
The owners are a lovely older couple and their daughter(s). They are extremely helpful with everything including taxis, car reservations, tips for day trips and always eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Room/Pool:
We had a recently renovated room with a balcony with modern stylish furnishing. The room where quiet during the day and night times. There was a good air conditioning that you could setup to your liking.
It was cleaned every day with no complaints.
The only downside was the patchy WiFi or rather internet connection. We had a Access Point in our room but the connection itself was not as stable as we would've liked. But since we are EU citizens we could bypass with free Roaming if the internet wasn't so good.

The pool was a medium sized one with the depths running from 0.75m-2.40m depth. The water was perfectly temperatured and the pool area was clean and had around 10 parasols each with 2 sunbeds. It was never too crowded to not enjoy a few ours or even a day at the pool. It had some air mattresses and air toys (balls, footballs).

Food:
Hotel Moscha only offers breakfast and some small snacks. So no dinner or lunch at the hotel.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful with variations of eggs, sausages, ham and cheese, fruits, bread, juices, water, vegetables, coffee and jam.

All in all we had a really pleasant and relaxing stay at Hotel Moscha and would come back any time on Rhodes. We highly recommend it for couples and small families that like calmer vacations.
