Lindos Athena Apart-hotel

Home now after another fabulous visit to Lindos Athena...I want to go back! Theo, George, Alex, Dino..THANK YOU, you are the fabulous hosts of a beautiful hotel..it has all you need, clean👌 excellent food but most of all welcoming, love it and love you all!💜 See you next year 😊xxx

We stayed 5 nights and can’t fault it, a lovely apartment, pool and great bar. The breakfast menu was great and bar prices too! The walk into lindos takes about 10-15 minutes, we walked it back about twice a day, no problem if you’re fit. Dino and Alex were really good and ran a great bar. We wood recommend it but don’t go Rock week!!! Week beginning June 10!! It opened our eyes!

My friend and I stayed at Lindos Athena for one week and it was perfect. Our studio apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely balcony where we enjoyed our mornings and evenings. And there was a free parking spot! Also very nice. The pool area is beautiful, a great place to relax with comfortable sunbeds. We spent a lot of time there enjoying the sun! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and also they made the best iced lattes and cocktails 😉 We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again someday. Highly recommended! 🥰

I stayed with my friend as i had a family wedding in lindos. I found this gem of a hotel a few weeks before we travelled. Reasonably priced for what is available. The minute I walked in the gates I knew I’d love it there. Beautiful gardens and flowers, olive trees and lemons. Two lovely friendly hotel dogs! The cleaners are lovely and thorough! The rooms are comfortable and clean with lovely balcony views. The location is roughly ten mins walk to lindos centre. The staff during the day were always friendly and thorough. This is a proper family run business and Theo, George and the rest of the family are lovely. I believe I’ve made some friends for life there. The bar has everything you need and food is superb. As two single ladies there was no sleeziness the staff are very respectful. I enjoyed it that much I’ve booked to return in October on my own! Can’t wait to lie on their lovely sun beds overlooking the pool.

We were actually staying at a hotel next door but found ourselves here most days… the staff made us welcome and we could use there facilities, in return we obviously ate and drank at there bar… We were here for morning noon and night, food was great, service prompt and the variety of drinks lovely too.. we tried a few Cocktails! 🍸🍹🧉 Beds are comfortable, staff friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Just back from Rhodes and can honestly recommend the Athena without hesitation. I stayed there by accident after Jet2 changed my accommodation at the last minute due to building work at my original hotel and it turned out to be a fortuitous accident. I arrived at the Athena at 3.30am after my flight made a detour to Turkey because of high winds at Rhodes airport and was still met with a warm welcome at reception and shown straight to my room. The apartments are simple but well maintained, clean (the cleaning ladies are in every day and are meticulous) and well positioned. The hotel staff/owners are welcoming and friendly and happy to chat or leave you alone as you prefer. The Apartments are c200 metres up a small lane (which is where all the apartments are) on the opposite side of the main road from Lindos old town. Its a 10 minute walk into Lindos itself which is at the bottom of a quite steep hill once you cross the main road. Tip - theres a shuttle bus that runs down the hill (50 cents a ticket) though im not sure of the frequency. Lindos itself is surprisingly untouristy. Plenty of day trippers arrive in buses to look around during the day but most leave again by evening so its not mad busy in the evening if you want to hit a bar or restaurant which most people do if not eating/drinking at the apartments (the food & drink there are reasonably priced and good quality if you don't fancy the walk). Theres a supermarket right at the front gate which does all the necessities at reasonable prices and another couple on the main road just where the lane pops out. NB your transfer bus will drop you off in front of the supermarket. Just walk up the lane past it and you'll find the Athena front gate - its not that visible when you get off the bus. The bar at the apartments can be a bit busy/noisy in the evening but the staff are scrupulous about turning the music and noise down at 11pm sharp so it shouldn't interfere with anyone's attempts to get to sleep. Few other tips in no particular order: The Apartments are officially 3 star so you pay e5 per night government tax. Safe is e2 per night and late departure charge is e30 (6pm). Check out is noon (they could do with a sign in reception stating that btw) and most things are run from the bar (reception is really just for checking in). The apartments are well supplied with cooking utensils etc but theres no clothes line on the balcony to dry your clothes so bring one if you think you'll need one. The pool area isn't huge and can get a bit busy and i imagine there are issues getting sun loungers in high summer when the apartments are full though that wasn't the case in May. You'll just have to get in early! Theres a live (rock?) music bar in Lindos old town (Socrates Bar) though its not live every night - you'll need to check their facebook page. Have met many nice people, they keep coming back to the same place more than the 10th time and they're calling this place home.
If I come back to Rodes I'll definitely stay in this place again ❤️.

The place was very clean and the food was lovely. Alex was very nice. The pool was also very good. Me and my partner got engaged over in Lindos and Lindos Athena decorated our room for us which made it a little bit more special, it was a very nice touch which they didn’t have to do.

Another 3 weeks of bliss and relaxation at my favourite hotel in Lindos.The Athena is now my second home,it's so peaceful and calming to stay at.The staff,Theo , George,Jen,Dino and Alex are always so welcoming and friendly and you'll soon be made to feel at home whether you are staying for the first time ,or like me multiple times.The rooms are lovely,cleaned daily and a perfect home from home.Basically ..if you want to chill without fuss,have all the facilities you need at hand(pool included)..Then there is no better place to be than ..Lindos Athena..it's why people return,year in year out ...and why I'll return every year...❤️
