We were there in August. Really good beach, there are waves but the beach is not very profound so we can enjoy the wave and be safe at the same time. There are many restaurants and they have play ground for the kids which we really appreciated.

It's a nice beach but not well maintained. It was not cleaned. The sunbeds are the price of a drink which was affordable. There are waves and can get windy. The taverna nearby has some nice garden and kids corner but the food and service are barely passable. With a bit more effort it could be great but sadly it's not.

Nice place! Umbrellas and beach chairs are for free and the bar serves a tasty club sandwich for 6€! Perfect place to enjoy a cold Mytos Radler.

Nice beach, but quite windy and was closed for swimming, but we decided to swim anyway. The little taverna way to the right takes orders at the chairs, so that’s nice. Sand does contain a bit of litter here and there.

Really nice beach. We were here in early July. Lots of space during the day and walked the long sandy beach at sunset without anyone else around. Restaurants on the beach are very good. Plenty of sun loungers under nice shades for €5 a day. Wooden slatted walkways make it easy to get around the lounger area. Lifeguard in a tower and signs to keep it safe. Beautiful villa, sea view, clean, spacious, well equipped. We were there at the end of April / beginning of May, the pool was already lovely. Near a small village and many beautiful places in the area.

Having come with friends on vacation, I recommend the place 1000 times, everything is perfect and idyllic! Quite close to everything, friendly little village! And the restaurant a few meters on foot (Kali kardina taverna) is to be done!!

We came with friends (10 people) and the place is amazing! It is spacious, welcoming and warm. The person who took care of us, Maria, was very attentive, attentive to our requests. Without forgetting the suggestions for tourism! I recommend 200%!

Very cozy house, two rooms with air conditioning, living room, and spacious and well-kept outdoor areas. Very good sea views allow you to relax having breakfast or a drink. Stone beach a few meters away, better for our taste than the more distant sandy ones, it allows diving and enjoying. Excellent villa by the sea. Kitchen-living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Veranda overlooking the sea, a small patio with sun loungers and an umbrella. Air conditioners in every bedroom. We stayed at Villa Ammos which was just perfect. The sunsets are fantastic and it is a 3 minute walk to the small town. We have visited twice and we will be back.

We stayed during the shoulder season right before most places opened up for summer, so the town was quiet and not busy. A very nice, well-kept house. Tastefully furnished, high quality kitchen equipment, very comfortable beds. There are several balconies so that you can either have sun or shade at any time. Extremely friendly and very caring landlord. There are two identical houses next to each other, each with a completely separate garden area and pool.

The owner Maria met us at the property and she had even prepared us some food on a late arrival which was most welcome! Also her husband Georgos helped us with the luggage which was very helpful.

Top notch, modern, spacious villa with a great outdoor space and scenic views from the balconies. Just a 10 minute walk to Kalyves beech. Minor point, it's located on a main road so the traffic can be a little noisy. Thoroughly recommend.

Really nice place, enough space for 4 people and the house ist really good equipped! Only a short 10 minutes walk to the beach and some good restaurants. Nice view and very clean. I would book it again!

An excellent place! Lovely garden around the pool, smartly furnished and very well-equipped interior. The landlords are really helpful. The villa’s position is very good for visiting any place on western Crete, but also make sure you do not miss the beach just 700 meters down a dirt-road from Villa Yianna!
