We were there in August. Really good beach, there are waves but the beach is not very profound so we can enjoy the wave and be safe at the same time. There are many restaurants and they have play ground for the kids which we really appreciated.

It's a nice beach but not well maintained. It was not cleaned. The sunbeds are the price of a drink which was affordable. There are waves and can get windy. The taverna nearby has some nice garden and kids corner but the food and service are barely passable. With a bit more effort it could be great but sadly it's not.

Nice place! Umbrellas and beach chairs are for free and the bar serves a tasty club sandwich for 6€! Perfect place to enjoy a cold Mytos Radler.

Nice beach, but quite windy and was closed for swimming, but we decided to swim anyway. The little taverna way to the right takes orders at the chairs, so that’s nice. Sand does contain a bit of litter here and there.

Really nice beach. We were here in early July. Lots of space during the day and walked the long sandy beach at sunset without anyone else around. Restaurants on the beach are very good. We ate at their restaurant by the beach. They have cozy private tables which creates a romantic vibe. The food was delicious. They can use fairy lights at the tables at night instead of white ones!

We went there for dinner and got in love for the place and service. They offer a beautiful type of tent at the beach and the waitress are super attentive, friendly and efficient. We had a salad and lamb and local rose wine. Super recommend the place!

We recently stayed at Hydramis Palace with our two young daughters (2 and 3 years old) and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect—right on the beachfront with a beautiful garden and a great pool that the kids loved. Everything was great, from the friendly staff to the delicious food. It was a great experience in Crete we loved everything there service and location are perfect, we booked one room sea view for 2 adults 1 kid and when we arrived it was full, so they gave us double room see view instead with 2 bathrooms (deluxe room) that’s very nice from them to fix the problem in that way! The Hydramis Palace Hotel, although somewhat dated, has a charm that suggests old money, minus the musty smell. It seems to have been recently promoted to a 5-star rating, but in reality, it feels more like a 3.5-star hotel (depending on each country’s rating system). The room was clean but had tiled floors. Wonderful hotel with very nice view from higher levels. Excellent food and drinks with big variety, very good service, close to the comfortable beach, good location, beautiful gardens.
