Fantastic family friendly hotel with a beautiful beach! We've visited Pilot Beach Resort two years in a row with our very young children (1 and 3 years old) and it's been a wonderful experience both times

The variety of food for kids is fantastic, although I wish they had boiled vegetables in the buffet options (like in all the other restaurants). The staff is wonderful, always friendly and accommodating to families

The beach is amazing, clean, safe and with (most of the time) calm waters. The rooms are as shown in the pictures and being close to the beach is definitely worth it

The buffet options at all the restaurants are excellent. The appetizers and main courses are always well-prepared and there’s something for everyone. However, for the desserts, only a few really stood out

On a practical note, we had to visit the nearby hospital during our stay and the staff there were excellent. We felt very secure and the doctors were professional and attentive

The beach is easily accessed through a tunnel under the road where there are plenty of sunbeds

The staff are friendly and helpful, including the mother and daughter in the little clothes shop. Night time entertainment was really good, but as it’s held outdoors had to be cancelled one night because of bad weather

I am far from a foody but have to say the variety of food is amazing, although at times not hot enough for my taste, however we find this to be a problem in every hotel buffet restaurant

We didn’t try the a La carte restaurants because the buffet is preferable for my husband who has had treatment for throat cancer, making some foods difficult for him to swallow

I would highly recommend this hotel and would like to return, but will give this some consideration due to the ever increasing visitors tax

The resort itself is beautiful and easy to get around as it is quite flat and has the option of a golf buggy for anyone that needs it

From the moment we arrived, we were treated like VIPs, being greeted with a complimentary room upgrade that included our own private pool. It was the perfect start to what would become an unforgettable holiday

We had a wonderful time again at Mythos Palace Resort & Spa! We chose this hotel for the fifth time

They are a great team, always ready to help you,the food is delicious and varied, spaces are very clean, sandy beach and great views

This is not a 1 off winge because the very nice lady at the pool is the complete opposite! In addition, this server is not 5* food always cold, who eats lukewarm fish soup, come on! Entertainment is either very good or poor

Hotel has nice pool but i think it's own "beach" and access to the sea is a selling point for me. Location is in the middle of nowhere BUT! it is close to bust stop and tiny town

This is a beautiful hotel set I n an idyllic setting. The staff every where we're friendly and attentive. We found the bed too hard and the hotel put a topper on the bed for us which totally solved the hard bed problem

Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Food was excellent quality and plentiful. Drinks were free flowing and the waiters filled glasses immediately upon seeing them empty. Waiters were fast and very helpful

Sweet smelling flowers everywhere. Loved this place and totally recommend it

There is also a super fun excursion from the hotel to the Kournas Lake - recommend! Now to the things i believe can be improved - this hotel is not 5* it is more like solid 3*. It needs a bit of renovations and upgrade

Bar staff will make your drinks strong! Just saying :) STAFF - it doesn't matter if it it reception, restaurant, bar or cleaning ladies - everyone are nice, helpful and want to make your stay they best it can be

Maybe wait for dinner where at half pension have it included. Pool: enough pools for us(4), but we were mostly at the sea

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days with the family for summer vacation. We've stayed at the hotel multiple times as the staff here are personable and friendly. Our kids love the food, the beach and the area in general

A beach holiday wouldn't be complete without getting a spa treatment. The hotel spa ran by Sophie was very welcoming and relaxing

The staff in ol the hotel was very friendly and professional. Reception, bar, restaurant, kitchen, beach restaurant, absolutely great. We don't know we're to start and we're to end speaking about this excellent stay

beautiful ambience, friendly staff. my masseuse Lydia did a great job, also she made sure that I’m comfortable and was really respectful. I felt very welcomed there and would definitely recommend visiting the spa

If you buy from the minimarket you get even better prices. (Water is 1 Euro for example) What I definitely not recommend buying is ice cream. 5 euro for an ice cream is just too much

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, the facilities are new, the restaurant is delicious, and the service staff are very professional and enthusiastic. I recommend it to all Chinese people visiting Crete! !

The hotel was fully booked but as it is a quiet small and comfy hotel it doesn't feel crowed. You have enjoy space and u can really enjoy it to the fullest. Sometimes it also feels like a private little beach

We really had relaxing time there. Comfortable bed, good breakfast , we tried a la carte restaurant and we really liked it. Sun beds are super comfortable , lots of cabanas , you have your privacy

The staff is super friendly and caters to every need. The pool and beach areas are fantastic; there are plenty of sun loungers and Bali beds

Our room on the ground floor with a whirlpool was as described: not very large and without much storage space, but we knew that because we had read the description, and it wasn't a problem

We visited as a family of 5 in the October half term and couldn’t believe how quiet it was! Multiple times my children were the only ones around and in the pool, even though the pools were abit chilly the children still loved them! The water park was amazing and they children spent multiple hours in there also! The staff were outstanding, they went above and beyond every single day

The water park is misleading in the sense it is small and really only two slides for older kids, really meant for young kids and families. The pools also close early 1800

After day of site seeing would be nic ti be able to use the pools. Staff was great, food was good

I have never seen staff work as hard as what they did especially at meal times when it was abit busier! The rooms are very spacious and the beds are massive! Bottles of water topped up every day in the room by room service! Very good location to! We went on multiple days out from georgioupolis, lake kournas to rethymno and chania! We spent 6 days here in August. It's pleasant enough, and the little water park is great for children - but if you're used to 5* service, luxury and environment then this will fall considerably short

Everything was excellent! The beach, George is a gem, the food is fantastic, an excellent assortment of delicious foods through out the meals , and also Maria from the restaurant is brilliant and very kind! Much appreciation for Esmeralda from Aegeo Spa, her hands are like a fairy! The rooms are spacy and very clean, housekeeping does an amazing job, and all the ladies are amazing!

We have visited the hotel in August 2024. Location is good as you have a supermarket right in front and couple of good restraunts if you feel like dining out. 30 mins drive to Chania for a bigger city vibe

The car rental procedure was very simple and smooth, no hidden costs, no complex procedure, full insurance. We are incredibly grateful for the excellent service provided by the reception staff

Additional thing worth mentioning is Aegeo SPA in the hotel itself, you can negotiate good prices. Terry, who is in charge of the SPA is amazing, friendly and nice

Even though we had our room just in front of the pool bar, where some events took place, we were never bothered by the noise! The show ends at a decent hour so you can have a good rest

Great rooms, the staff was lovely, food was excellent! Phenomenal location next to the beach, in addition to the beautiful pool. Also very close to Lake Kournas which is great for a day trip

In the afternoon we recommend an ouzo in the hotel's own beach coffee in combination with a light snack. All staff are friendly and very helpfull. Thanks for an unforgettable week!

Summer, sun, peace, sea - that's what you will find at Pepper Sea Club Hotel. We strongly recommend the baskets on the beach for 20

The sun is very strong at the moment and in these baskets it is pleasant, quiet with a fantastic view of Cape Drakanos

Hotel is nice and very well organized. From the first moment on the reception desk we encountered friendly and proffesional staff. Towels in the room were changed every day

In front of hotel is sandy beach with enough sunbeds and umbrellas for all the guests. Food in the restaurant is tasty and with very good variety

The food was delicious, lots of choice, we were especially pleased with the large selection of local dishes and fresh fruit. The wonderful path to the beach along the palm trees stole our hearts, a beautiful wide beach

Great hotel! My husband and I stayed from April 28th to May 5th and had a very nice time. All the employees were very nice and smiling, they always offered help and advice (especially the reception staff and waiters)

Maria from reception), a beautiful beach just beside the hotel, tasty food, a jeep safari, and trips to near towns and places of interest (from the bus stop a couple of steps from the hotel) nearly healed us from our traumatic experience

We were surprised when they gave us a room in a building above an Italian restaurant, some 30 m far from the E75 highway (Chania - Rethymno). We couldn't even guess this building was a part of the hotel

After two days of permanent complaints, we succeeded to change the room. Sleep-deprived and totally upset we finally got a room in one of the bungalows. The rest of our stay was fine

Coffee and fresh orange juice were not included in the breakfast, which was very disappointing. In general, you pay extra for anything not included in the room and breakfast, which makes the stay feel less comfortable

The biggest issue was the bathroom. It was constantly humid, had a bad smell, and the shower flooded the floor every time because there was no door. The water also didn’t heat up immediately, which was unpleasant

The bathroom was separated from the bedroom by glass doors and walls – they weren’t transparent, so technically private, but still felt uncomfortable and not very practical. The glass door itself also felt unstable

We want to go back again, to relax and have another restorative break. So as an adult only hotel, if you are looking to 'step off' this relaxing hotel is a pleasure to recommend ⛱️💞

I would rate my stay as 3 stars. The location is beautiful and quiet, with an amazing beach where you really feel immersed in nature. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and my room overall was fine

We went there for dinner and got in love for the place and service. They offer a beautiful type of tent at the beach and the waitress are super attentive, friendly and efficient

We ate at their restaurant by the beach. They have cozy private tables which creates a romantic vibe. The food was delicious. They can use fairy lights at the tables at night instead of white ones!

You can tell how much pride everyone takes in creating such a special atmosphere. The pool area is stunning, the spa is absolutely beautiful, and every detail feels five-star

We had an amazing stay here with our friends! The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling — they truly go above and beyond for their guests. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were super comfortable

It’s great that the washing machine is free to use, just like the billiard table, sauna, jacuzzi, and parking around the hotel. The Wi-Fi was fast, and you can also request a kettle and ironing board for your room

A lovely hotel which we have stayed in 6 times. Good location with a short walk to the shops, restaurants and the town centre. There have been several upgrades to the hotel since our stay last July

We were really satisfied with both breakfast and dinner — everything was delicious, we couldn’t complain about a single thing

It’s only a small pool so not many beds. Food and drinks were good as well. Lots of different varieties so we never went hungry. The beach was lovely with the best sun loungers as well, really comfy which was a bonus

Only issue we had in the room was the smell. Most days there was a sewage smell when we ran the tap. But it quickly disappeared after a few minutes. The pool area was stunning with super comfy beds as well

We had the most wonderful stay at Eliros Mare in Crete! The hotel was absolutely beautiful; stylish, spotless, beautiful grounds and perfectly located

The beach bar was great as well. The staff are absolutely incredible. Always on hand to help with everything! They arranged a trip to Samaria gorge and even did us breakfast and lunch which was sweet

We opted to leave the room at this time but had to pay €30 for the 2 of us to eat and drink for the day. Slightly disappointing as we missed the all inclusive on the first day of arriving

The only downfall was having to pay extra on our last day for all inclusive. We had an evening flight and had to be out of the room by 11am

Wonderful Hospitality Apologies for the late review, but I just had to share what an incredible experience we had during our stay in Crete last October! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by the friendly staff

The level of service was outstanding - everyone went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, and their warmth truly made our stay special / reception, bar, restaurat, chefs, cleaning ladies etc

The bar over the pool with a sea view is amazing! The pool area was comfortable, clean and quiet,  only thing I would recommend - water in the pool could be a bit warmer

My experience at Sofia Resort Luxury Suites exceeded expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spacious, clean and wonderful decorated

We (my 10 year old daughter and I) stayed at this fabulous hotel 11 days. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink, which we chose to have at the tables by the pool

Do not be put off by the low star rating at this hotel! The hotel is perfect if you're looking for a good value, quiet, comfortable and clean base to stay, which is exactly what we wanted and what we got

Even at the height of summer, you did not need to get up early to get a place by the pool, nor struggle to get a parking space (which we have found at other hotels)

There aren't as many food options at the hotel as others we have stayed at, but we stuck to the buffet (we were half board) and did not try the à la carte menu that came at extra cost, so there is that option if needed

The food was traditional, often with meat and fish options, salad, vegetables etc, and was fresh and delicious! Freshly cooked food was provided whenever things ran low, and desert (though limited) was always great

Our room was on the top floor, overlooking the pool, we had a nice balcony

OK, 3 stars, so wasn't expexting what we have got compared to Africa 4 stars. Clean, Tidy and comfatable, the ritz it isn't, but warm staff and happy with what we paid for.

The rooms are clean but basic. I wouldn't upgrade to the all inclusive as the food is shocking.
