Best Hotels in Georgioupolis

The buffet options at all the restaurants are excellent. The appetizers and main courses are always well-prepared and there’s something for everyone. However, for the desserts, only a few really stood out

On a practical note, we had to visit the nearby hospital during our stay and the staff there were excellent. We felt very secure and the doctors were professional and attentive

The variety of food for kids is fantastic, although I wish they had boiled vegetables in the buffet options (like in all the other restaurants). The staff is wonderful, always friendly and accommodating to families

Thank you Pilot Beach Resort for giving us amazing family memories! We came here twice during a time when we desperately needed rest and fun with our little ones and both visits exceeded our expectations!

The kid’s corner restaurant is great, it is open during the day until 5PM. In 2023, we noticed it was a bit dirty but they’ve made more efforts in 2024 to keep it clean

Almost every night, there are 2 to 4 events or shows, all worth attending. Our kids especially enjoyed the mini-disco and magician shows

- nice big pool which also appeared clean and well maintained. - food was good (but some issues, will explain in negatives). - enclosed playground which was nicely set between the bar/restaurant and the beach

Had the Mythos been listed as a 3 star hotel I would have been happy with the hotel (but would have never booked it), but for the money we paid and the association with one of the best hotels we ever stayed at, I expected a LOT more

I do want to reiterate that the reception team did their very best to find a solution for us and offered the free upgrade. They were extremely helpful and very friendly

- room smelled moldy (and sometimes unpleasant smells from gutter). - overall the rooms seemed run down. - only 3 restaurants (main buffet, beach restaurant (only open 2 a week), theme buffet (only open 2 a week)

- Nathan, the animator really put his heart and soul into everything he did especially Aqua gym. - very clean dinning area (main buffet restaurant). - brand name alcohol (not top tier, but not no name)

- after initial issues with first room reception was very generous in upgrading us to a private pool (which was clean); however, the closet space was less than the previous room and the room had ants

Nothing was done even after we asked for a bit of variety. The room was big and clean and smell nice but for the sea view you better get a magnified lenses. The food was good and plenty of choices to choose from

A bit tricky at the beginning until you know how to switch between the restaurants but an overall good experience

This hotel more than fulfilled our expectations and even exceeded them! Everything was perfect: the food is fantastic and of high quality, also the staff is very motivated, supportive and puts a smile on your face (especially Katerina and Menios brought some extra light in the morning)

Anemos Luxury Grand Resort - Such a beautiful and stunning hotel with clean, comfortable and modern rooms, an awesome pool and a sandy beach with perfect sunbeds to relax and enjoy vacation

Moreover, the rooms are very aesthetic and modern! Since the beach is a private hotel beach, it is not too crowded and you can always get a spot

There is also the option to eat a la card at the beach restaurant, which we highly recommend - you can enjoy seafood while watching the sunset

The beach is an absolute dream and the animation team is always in the best of spirits, and has absolutely granatige Shows! Thanks for the beautiful vacation, I would always go back! :-)

Amazing place for a whole family. Aqua park great entertainment for kids and adults also. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Food delicious! Just few steps from the sea! Everything is clean and taking care of

Except the exhausting Corona rules it is a place of enjoyment for kids. The water slide park, mini club, children disco - everything made for a perfect childrens' holidays.

We stayed at the hotel last week for 7 days and the whole experience was incredible! Starting with the staff that was always smiling, kind and willing to serve, so that the services provided to be at their best

Since we are a family with 2 small kids the only thing for sure is that the hotel is kids-friendly. With the pool for small children, the kid's parties and with the given access where required (for stroller, elevator)

Rooms were ok, dated and hard beds but nice view, clean and decents showers plus a bath. Service was overall good, Danielle is definitely best barmaid at pool bar. Entertainment was pretty non existant

The room was very clean, the hotel surroundings were both spotlessly clean and well-kept. The food, with a very wide variety, including small surprises such as the barbecue night, satisfies every ages

It was a great experience in Crete we loved everything there service and location are perfect, we booked one room sea view for 2 adults 1 kid and when we arrived it was full, so they gave us double room see view instead with 2 bathrooms (deluxe room) that’s very nice from them to fix the problem in that way! Thank you for the nice service and we will back again here next year 🥰

Last but not least, is the ease of movement for people with special needs (rooms, hotel's areas and also in the pool). Fully recommended for summer 🏝️ 🌞 holidays

Ultimate Chill Out, we have just returned from our second stay at this hotel, we were in room 203, which overlooks the pool and sea, a fantastic view to wake upto in the morning, Antonio and his staff as usual were fantastic, the flexibility of the half board makes this a stress free alternative to the big AI hotels, you never feel rushed into being anywhere at any time, the room is perfect for what...

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The location is excellent, being very close to the beach and shops. The food was nice with generous portions

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay! Close to the beach and restraunts. The hotel is lovely, it's clean and has lots of amenities. We enjoyed tasty freshly cooked lunches with a beautiful view

Please be aware that if you stay here, you will not be able to drink your own water outside your room and will have to pay for water by the bottle, or you will be told off by a member of staff

Antonio was brilliant! We arrived after midnight, but even at that time he made sure we had something to eat and drink. He always had a ravishing smile and nothing was too much trouble!

She claimed that if caught, she would face a €1,000 fine, and in one case, a €5,000 fine. This was confusing, as the hotel does not provide free water and charges €3 per bottle

It's a very decent all-inclusive hotel in Crete with primarily European clientele (August 2023). Advantages: - Very good location and access from both Chania and Heraklion airport

Good hotel , well located, and with many options We met wonderful people working there: Ms Roula and Ms Georgia Not good points: They charge you 6€ for a bucket of ice delivered to your room, and 6€ to use beach chairs.

- An excellent sandy beach with easy and gradual access to sea and morning walks. Warm sea temperatures (compared to some other locations around Chania we tested)

Great services, nice looking area, hotel, beach. Only disadvantage is bad sound isolation of room entrance door and fact that hotel is very close to main road.

The schedule of the pool not the best ones (10-18), but I guess that was due to breakfast and lunch times

Pool area is lovely and next to the beach. Breakfast is good wide choice of hot & cold dishes. I cannot recommend it enough.

I visit Crete every year and have stayed in Georgioupolis before. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Lovely room very clean, bed are comfy. Denis is brilliant and friendly, staff were lovely stuff team

This hotel is 10 stars based on customer service alone! We actually booked their sister hotel across the road but upon arriving, it looked very closed, so we walked over to Vantaris Luxury Beach Resort to figure out what was going on

We cannot describe how thankful we are for the holiday we had at this hotel. Everyone was super friendly and helpful especially with our two kids. We arrived at 2:30 am due to the delay of our flight

The sea water is beautiful and clear! - the food in the main restaurant is very good - many types of meat (including duck and rabbit), vegetables sides, salads, pasta / pizza bar

Even though we had our room just in front of the pool bar, where some events took place, we were never bothered by the noise! The show ends at a decent hour so you can have a good rest

- there is "early breakfast concept" which was very nice for us! we left the hotel at 4 AM and was very helpful to have something to eat on the way to the airport - on the other side of the hotel are some super markets and souvenir stores, where you can find everything you need - there is a nice tennis court - extra fee (we paid 10 euros, 3 persons, for an hour)

We arrived well before the check-in time, so they invited us to have breakfast while they prepared the rooms, which we really appreciated since we had been travelling for hours, we were tired and hungry 😊

The hotel was fully booked but as it is a quiet small and comfy hotel it doesn't feel crowed. You have enjoy space and u can really enjoy it to the fullest. Sometimes it also feels like a private little beach

La Mer Resort & Spa was truly one of best places I’ve been to! The staff and facilities were fantastic & the best part was the spa and massages - Maria, Anna & Georgia was amazing! So glad we chose this resort for our first time in Crete

We loved to have our honeymoon at La Mer, we have been in the hotel 2 years ago and we have experienced a very nice welcome. We love how this venue brings calmness and relaxation to your mind and body

I strongly encourage guests to visit the spa and take some treatments. Maria was very helpful in making you very relaxed and ready for your treatment, full transparency on what you will receive

Maria explained all treatments in detail and was super kind. The two girls at the spa Georgia and Anna did an amazing massage. It is a pity I fell asleep, but it was too relaxing

Georgia was a great therapist, she showed professionalism and gentle compassion. I would strongly recommend everyone to spend 60’ in pure calmness and relaxation

We went there for dinner and got in love for the place and service. They offer a beautiful type of tent at the beach and the waitress are super attentive, friendly and efficient

We ate at their restaurant by the beach. They have cozy private tables which creates a romantic vibe. The food was delicious. They can use fairy lights at the tables at night instead of white ones!

Very family oriented, The hotel Manager is a very nice person, willing to help and very knowledgeable about the hotel business. The food is very exquisite and they have a different menu for each day of the week

Great service and location. Love the decor but things are quite old and dated. The room was not as clean as we would have liked and the food was slightly above average. Dislike that the pool area closes so early.

There are two bars, including a nice pool bar with a good amount of choices for food and cocktails. Sometimes you can enjoy activities at the pool bar, during my stay there was a "jazz night" and a "dj night"

Easy access to the beach with beach chairs (and for sure one of the best locations in comparison to other neighboring resorts). Definitely a recommendation and we will return!!

It is not delicious but it is good, the coffee is also good. The two pools are relatively large, one of them with jacuzzi-like bubbles

Overall, this was a good experience since the beach is amazing. We also enjoyed the pool bar very much. The rooms, however, need serious upgrading. Everything in the room looked very old and worn out, and damaged

The villa itself has everything you need for a good week, with a fully equipped kitchen for those days you want to cook yourself. A large swimming pool is located in the center of the hotel

The breakfast buffet is extensive but the menu remains almost the same throughout the stay. Each morning, Georges was available to give us information on the activities we planned to do during the day

Despite our late arrival in the evening, we found Georges, who speaks perfect French, waiting for us at the entrance to give us the keys to the villa and give us a quick tour of the premises

A better hotel my wife and I couldn't imagine! The hotel is build with small sweet streets and almost every room or apartment is different, which makes it look like a small Greek village

It is partly thanks to him that we were able to do all the essentials of the western part of the island. The rest of the staff are equally nice and helpful
