5⭐️! Amazing stay at this family hotel! The owners went above and beyond, making our stay truly special. Spotless rooms, delicious breakfast with fresh food made on the spot at super reasonable prices, and a lovely sea view from the pool. Great value for the price and type of hotel! Free pickup service and tons of insider tips on the island. Would definitely return! Highly recommend!

The staff is very nice and accomodating. The room are very clean, simple, but with all you need.
The swimming pool is big and with a stunning view. A good place to stay in Ios !

Atmosphere: The biggest advantage of the Golden Sun hotel. From the very first moments, we did not feel like customers, but friends of the owner. Usually, check-in at the hotel involves checking the customer's ID and handing over the keys. In the Golden Sun, the owner gave us a few minutes to greet us and gave us a map with all the places we should visit on the island. He showed which beach is the best, where to go to watch the sunset, which restaurants have fresh fish, where is a cheap supermarket etc. It was the perfect guide to the island which we used the whole trip and we were delighted :)

Location: Great! You can walk to the port and Chora, if you prefer the bus, the stop is literally at the hotel.
Cleanliness: Impeccable! Everywhere clean, fragrant and pleasant.
Room: We had a garden view, with a lovely terrace. Quiet with a picturesque view.
Pool: Large with varying depths. With a beautiful view and plenty of sunbeds.

The stay at Golden Sun was absolutely magical and special.

We recently spent 4 nights at the Golden Sun hotel on Ios. The owners, Alexandros and Adriana, and their assistant Irene, are all lovely people, who obviously take great pride in the hotel and nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was very comfortable and modern, and the hotel had the best pool of any of the different hotels we stayed at on our 4 centre trip. The location of the hotel was also perfect for us, being not too far from the harbour and beach, but also not far to walk up the hill to the old town and some great restaurants. Thank you.

This place was fantastic. A family business with really helpful and kind people. Both room and the pool were great and always clean. Its location is very convenient, 5' to the port and 10' to the village and there's also a bus stop with regular routes just outside the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and we strongly recommend it!
