Where to stay in Kalathas

Creta Vitalis lives off its rented cottages. The hotel is basic but clean. The breakfast falls into the same category. The noise insulation between room and corridor can be improved upon. The taxi drivers have the tendency to charge from the airport the same rate as if going to Chania.

Me and my mum spend 4 nights at this hotel. In my opinion the place is worth the price. Beautiful gardens, stunning flowers with romantic paths. Hotel is situated close to nice beach and good-size swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds ;) Room is just about with everyday clean bathroom, fridge and new TV ?. Breakfast is ?. But if you looking for some sausage and black pudding you won't find it...

We visit Crete yearly. This hotel is an absolute must for us. Unsurpassed Service, Safe, Clean, 3 Beaches are minutes by car, Many lovely rooms to choose from, Pool, Traditional Cretan Atmosphere, Close to All Amenities, Bus Route within 100 m. , 15 minutes from Chania or Airport! We love it here?

We’ve been travelling a lot in the world but I must say the staff at this hotel as amazing. Iro and Mari are so nice and helpful. We had an amazing time there. The breakfast was really nice, the restaurant too. We had sea view rooms which is a must . We would definitely go back there. The sunset is beautiful

Lena Beach Hotel is a hidden gem. Stunning location and truly excellent service from all the staff. The shared areas of the hotel are so well maintained and the dining area, terrace and pool area are beautiful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. It didn't bother us at all but if you like a touch of extra quality in your bedroom furnishings then maybe not for you.

Stayed here for two nights during my and my wife's anniversary trip, and they helped make it amazing. Mary was so helpful in giving us ideas on where to go to get out and have some fun. They had outings available if you wanted, but that is not my wife's style, we had rented a car ( they can help you with that) They also have a breakfast bar, which will start your day off well. We LOVED this hotel! The value for the price absolutely floored me! Gorgeous views of the harbor, the main pool is DEEP but relaxing and beautiful! the kid section of the pool is perfect for them. We stayed at Lena Beach Hotel for three nights and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very helpful and kind, always happy to help. We liked the breakfast very much. It was diverse, tasty and fresh. The pool was great, and there is also a beach near by with some shadow.

This is a nice hotel - staff is friendly, location close to Kalathas beach (2 min walk) with rooms having a terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast is fantastic, buffet-style served on a large terrace overlooking the sea. Room is decent size. There is private parking of the hotel, which is handy. The complimentary bottle in the fridge is much appreciated. A couple of downsides - pillows are really hard...

Had an amazing stay at Kalathas Sunset Villa. The hosts, Efi and Spiros are adorable, super warm and welcoming. Absolutely stunning views from the huge outdoor patio and every interior room. What sunsets! But you want to know what the best part of staying at Kalathas Sunset Villa is? It's the owners Efi and Spiros!! They are simply wonderful. We arrived too late to go to a restaurant for dinner so Efi prepared a large cheese pie for us...it was still warm-yum, so good, a Greek salad, fresh fruit and wine....

Nothing bad to say, simply perfect.

Perfect house even for a big family (we had 5 kids with us). The beach is one of the best in Crete and the hosts Efi and Spiros are extremely friendly and helpful
