Brother and I stayed in this hotel as part of our Jet2 holidays package with separate rooms with a sea view. We were dropped off early from the transfer shuttles around 1330 way before check-in. Great place to stay by the port. Walking distance to most everything. Clean rooms with comfortable beds. They even give you a pillow menu, outlining your choice of pillow selections for your comfort. Bottle of Greek liquor and peanuts are complementary in your room, too. I have stayed on two occasions. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 5 nights, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is insanely central, everywhere in the city centre is within walking distance. We had a view of the old port which was incredible, and the room was clean and looked new and renovated. Special thank you to Gina and Manos, who made us feel very welcome, with many great local tips on where to go. We will highly recommend coming here

We stayed there one night whilst on a road trip but will be back for longer sometime soon. Gena one of the family owners is awesome and very welcoming, although we only had the one night it was like we'd known her for ages, highly recommended. We had the petite room with sea view balcony which overlooked the venetian harbour,jaw dropping view at sunset.

We stayed 3 nights here. The place is in a very good location with amazing views of the old town and parking just outside the hotel. The beds could’ve been better and bigger since we were two people, but is really compensated with the service that they give. The owner helps us and guide us about the activities we could do and the best places to eat, and always was available for anything we need.

This is a pretty nice hotel but it is not 4-star. From what I understand it used to be 3-star in which case I’d give it a better rating but at this time it is overpriced. (Especially with a 7€/day tax since it’s officially 4-star).

A very nice hotel next to a park. It was close enough to walk to the old town but without all the noise of the busy area. Plus there is parking and a lovely breakfast.

Lovely rooms and delicious breakfast with tasty little Greek pastries and mountain tea! Close to the beautiful old town and we had a great view from our balcony. Clean and airy. Only thing I would say could be improved is having a toilet on the same floor as the dining/breakfast area 🙈 also the underground parking feels very tight to get in and out of if you’re not used to it!!

Spectacular location, room, views, food, drinks and service. The staff and owners (including Ragis the Boston Terrier) really went the extra mile to make sure this part of our honeymoon was extra special. We couldn’t possibly recommend the Lagon strongly enough. The website pictures and description do not do it justice. You will not regret booking this hotel!

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, with the most wonderful view from our room. The breakfast that we ate by the pool each morning was unbelievable. Staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to accommodate any request they can. Olympia to be specific made our whole stay just that extra bit special. We will absolutely be staying again.

Super modern rooms with great views. Excellent service with a special mention to front desk Chris. She was incredible and helped to plan our itinerary and addressed all our questions with a smile she was the highlight of the hotel. The only downside is the noise from other rooms and the Air conditioning was not great. Overall a solid four out of five.

Nice clean and independently owned hotel in chania old town. Front desk is very helpful and have good advice on places to eat and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and room service is adequate. Location cannot be best. Just a few steps away from the harbour and a Street away from shops, restaurants and a market that has some of the best fresh spices and olives around.

El Greco is fablous!! Great location, in the heart of Chania old town, close to fantastic restaurants, shops etc!! The staff are all very friendly & extremely helpfull. We had a great stay & will heartly reccommend El Greco to everybody.

Beautiful accomodation in great spot. In the middle of the city, next to all the shops and sights of Chania, with mesmerizing view to the church of Agios Nikolaos. The building is a restored old manor which fits perfectly in with the beauty of the city. The staff was very polite and helpful.

We had a great experience here. Our room overlooked the water and lighthouse. The design and functionality of the room is incredible. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The location is central and great. Overall, we really loved our stay.

Sometimes real luxury is not about having luxurious pretentious features but it lies into having a super relaxed and nice staff, a new, very clean hotel and room with a peaceful open atmosphere. My husband and I stayed at Porto Veneziano for almost a week for our wedding with our family and friends. The suites are amazing with gorgeous views also extremely clean. Very nice hotel. Ideally place in the old city. In September it was easy to park near the entrance in Talos. The room was nice and clean and the breakfast excellent. The breakfast lady and the two receptionists were adorable. Very good address.

We stayed in History! The original stonework was kept when rebuilt. Stayed in the mosaic suite, absolutely stunning, big shower, very comfortable bed ( queen +) Double glazed windows so you don't hear the night life. Restaurant underneath for breakfast which was full breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, eggs, salmon, everything you could need. Staff friendly & caring, full of helpful local places....

Ideal location, very good place, but not worth the extremely high price. Very good service, rooms are spacious and nice, but a couple of things didn’t work well. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Would be 4-5 stars if not quite so expensive.

Staff is great and very helpful. I gave the hotel a 4 for a couple of reasons. There are no additional amenities- no food, bar, pool, or rooftop terrace. Be careful which room you book. Some rooms are a nice size with a Seaview. Others are small or dark. When you turn on the bathroom light at night the entire room lights up. Also, you have to walk with suitcases to the city gate across cobble stones

Located in the old town harbour, you can not be closer to the harbour, without your own ship. Located directly overlooking the water. The suites with terrace has sunbeds, the suites further down has balconies with room for two chairs overlooking the harbour action. We had the most wonderful stay here! Moshe, the owner, and the staff were warm and helpful and made us feel at home. Our room, called Fabric, was a real treat .
