Creta Vitalis lives off its rented cottages. The hotel is basic but clean. The breakfast falls into the same category. The noise insulation between room and corridor can be improved upon

But if you looking for some sausage and black pudding you won't find it here - sorry, just tasty bread (always warm and fresh) and yogurt with honey, cereal, coffee, tee, boild eggs

Hotel is situated close to nice beach and good-size swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds ;) Room is just about with everyday clean bathroom, fridge and new TV ?

Me and my mum spend 4 nights at this hotel. In my opinion the place is worth the price. Beautiful gardens, stunning flowers with romantic paths

They were very lovely and helpful and we really appreciated the room after a 9 hour delay at Heraklion airport, followed by a cancelled flight and then a 2 hour taxi to Chania

This hotel was only 15 mins from chania airport and was just a great place to rest for the night

A short walk into the small town centre for food and shops and 15 minutes walk down a steep hill to the harbour and small beach, frequented by locals more so than tourists. Recommended for an airport stay

It's hard to believe anyone would review Anthemis badly; although this hotel has frequently been confused with another local hotel whose name is spelt slightly differently! The location overlooking the Mediterranean is tranquil, the owners are generous & respectful, staff unintrusive and helpful

To get the best of the location a car is advisable, but it is possible to visit local beaches & tavernas by bus; some tavernas even offer delivery! We've had a fabulous holiday!

Stayed here one night. Was a lovely apartment, they gave us a bottle of water and orange juice in our fridge, lovely shower, quite remote but lovely nonetheless

The rooms were perfect for our needs (family room to singles) inclusive of balconies all around, the pool area wonderful for lazy afternoons, and an incredible views! Our third year staying at this family run hotel with three generations involved. The two sisters - Eleni and Christina supported by their parents and Eleni’s sons - Niklas and John - are so welcoming and friendly

We did not have a car for this part of our stay, but getting taxi's about was easy with Christina and Elena's help as well as their many other recommendations on things to do and where to eat in the area and further afield in Crete

The hotel has a unique boutique feel about it as nothing is any problem for the owners or staff. The hotel pool is one of the best in Chania and the terrace view is the best in Chania

What Stood Out: Our stay at Kavos Hotel & Suites was amazing! We stayed in a suite with a private pool that offered a fabulous view—definitely a highlight of the trip

The housekeeping staff was wonderful—always friendly and did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless. We loved the buffet breakfast each morning, which was delicious and had plenty of variety

Another bonus was the car rental included with our room, which made exploring the area easy, and the complimentary shuttle to the airport was incredibly convenient

Top notch service from Zeta at the poolside bar! Flavourful cocktails and snacks. Zeta was friendly, funny and the most hospitable hostess we met in Crete! She shared knowledge about f the local restaurants and sites

Truly surprising and fantastic place. It is not a Five Star hotel, but everything about it feels like one. The people were wonderful, the service great and the pool was one of the best I have been to

Hotel was good location not good

Nice surprise for this clean and welcoming hotel. Very large room, nice pool, good location next to Chania. Just a little noisy on the wine morning due to the road not far away. I recommend it

We found this hotel services were excellent and very helpful as well. Surely if we come back to Crete we will definitely stay here.

The pool was great! It was queit far from the centrum but the bus stop was across the road which was great! The breakfest was better than we expected.

This is a lovely hotel in an elegant old building. The rooms are fully modernised and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It is in a quiet spot which is a delightful 20 minute walk into Chania old town

It is in a quiet neighborhood, yet an easy walk to Old Town Chania and the historical sites. I truly hope our travels once again bring us to Chania where will will once again stay at Halepa Hotel

He contacted a couple of places where there was no answer, or they were closed, then tried Pantheon and got us a room. 30pm, to a lovely clean, spacious apartment - sitting room with basic kitchen/fridge etc

I would not hesitate to return and may decide staying here after a late-ish arrival is a better option. No idea about how far it is to places of interest, but did not seem to be far from mini-markets and places to eat

The bedroom had tinted glass and large windows/patio-doors so you could leave the roller blinds up and enjoy the view. The balcony outside was fairly large and there were chairs/table/clothes dryer

Arriving in Chania at 9pm, in January, our taxi driver met us as arranged but couldn't take us to our destination on the south coast due to bad weather over the mountains

We left the next morning feeling refreshed and relieved to have found somewhere so good, very reasonably priced, clean and comfy at such short notice, out of season

Great bathroom with modern shower. Separate bedroom with plenty of space and very comfy bed. simple but adequate to give a minimalistic loft living feel

The hotel is located at suburbs, the motorway is easily approachable if you want to visit some other places. It is really clean and nice. Staff is super nice. I give a warm recommendation for this place.

Although the position of the hotel is relatively close to the city centre you will need a car to commute but there is also a bus station outside of the hotel's entrance. The breakfast was minimal but the quality was good

I booked this hotel for 3 nights at €238. I was given a fully refurbished room, walk in shower, fridge, aircon, balcony etc This is a no frills hotel but the basics are quality

The location is very convenient, it took us about 30 minutes, leisurely walk, to get to the Old Venetian Port, were you'll find lots of restaurants and shops. A couple of small supermarkets are just a block away

We only stayed here for 1 night but was pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel, as only a 5 minute walk from the sea and about 10 minutes to the bars and shopping area

Our apartment was the one located upstairs on the 2nd floor with a mezzanine which gives it a little charm. The hotel is housed in a tastefully renovated old building. The hostess Katerina's welcome was truly exceptional

For car parking, two free car parks are located near the hotel, about 200 meters away. We had no problem finding a place. The apartment is very clean and renovated. It has a modern style and is well equipped
