Villa Melina is located pretty „close“ to the center, basically maybe 5 mins walk. The Villa itself is wonderful and reminds you more of Italy then Greece. There is a huge pool where you can swim at any time. Many cats that steal your food and attention haha. Also great breakfast! Worth its money! The only problem we had was the mattress. Pretty hard to sleep on, but that’s maybe a individual problem

Beautiful small hotel in a unique old villa. Make sure the room is fully renovated cause not all of the bathrooms were renovated. We had a little issue with the pool and the level of chlorine in it, but all in all we had a wonderful time and the owners were very nice.

Villa Melina has many rooms of all kinds spread over the entire area of the building and around the pool. The villa itself is very beautiful. And the price is reasonable for what you get. But it is far from the center and you have to walk a little on the slope to the center and back uphill. This hotel is quite descent, even for 3 stars hotel(rust bathroom equipment must be replaced in room 106 and there’re some problem with toilet flushing). A good hotel with Breakfast, Pool and nice Personal. The hotel room is spacious. The beds weren't so good. They are old spring beds and not comfortable (for me and a friend). Furthermore the fridge was off. On the location you need about 7 min to a small beach and across from the hotel there is a little supermarket.

Had an amazing stay at the climbing house! And definitely will be back. Stefanos and his wife are very warm and kind hosts. Wonderful studios and probably the best accommodation on the island. Highly recommend to rent out scooters or a car from Stefanos, contact him ahead of time for a possible transfer from the Port to the studio when you arrive and depart.

Gave us a great price for the bikes and the room, picked us up from the port, was si helpful. Also you are close to the main supermarket so you can stock up every morning. Definitely will come back

While the rooms are somewhat sparse and the beds not among the softest we have tried, the owners and staff are the sweetest and kindest. Breakfast is simple but very nice and rooms, pool area and restaurant are neat and clean. We went for a Discover Scuba Diving offer and had a fantastic time thanks to the competent and patient instructors and the hotel staff. Highly recommend.

I've just had a lovely stay there. The location is peaceful with nice views. Handy for tavernas/bars in Elies. A bus stop nearby. A short walk will take you to Linaria beach (more nice tavernas and a fab view). Nikos, the host cannot do enough for you. Great value for money!!!

The owners of Mary Popi made my stay absolutely amazing. I injured my foot towards the end of my stay and Giorgios helped me get to the hospital, brought me food and was so very caring. They are there for whatever you need and are so welcoming. Thank you so much Giorgos and Mary Popi!!!!

I stayed there for two weeks with my husband and two sons. Good value for money, very friendly hosts, beautiful views and the swimming pool make it a place worth visiting. Platis gialos beach is 5 mins walk, a big shop 15 mins, but a car is definitely a necessity.

Very beautiful and cozy place with the view of the sea, 5 minutes walk to the beach, 2 minute drive to the center of the village with restaurants and a supermarket. We loved our stay at the resort, but let me first mention what we didn't like. The cappuccino costs 4.5 euros. The kids' program is in German. Why? I don't get it. I'm not German. German is not the world's number one language. Nobody cares about Germany, except this hotel, as there are many Germans here. The hotel was great value for money. We stayed in one of the windmills. Lots of food and drink available on 'all inclusive'. However, you have to pay 3 euro per bed for loungers on the beach which feels ridiculous when you've already paid for your stay! You also have to pay extra if you want to use the games room.

Very nice hotel, people working there were very nice and friendly. There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar. If you didn't want to participate you could go to the second bar near the beach which was really quite and nice to talk.

Very nice place, ideal for price and comfortable, closely from beach and windsurfing station, shops, but very quiet, nice seaview, even first floor, very hospitable host, big room, balcon, clean room and bed, small kitchen with one burner, but your can use barbeque, swimming pool in other hotel, placed nearly, but your can use it everyday without problems. We like this place!!

The apartments are pretty standard, a small kitchen, bathroom with shower, a small bedroom with two beds and a nice terrace. The whole apartment was very clean when we arrived. The apartment is a 5 minute walk away from the beach and is also close to a local supermarket. The landlords are also very friendly and always ready to help. All in all, while the apartment is not so big, it is still great value...

Didn’t stay at this hotel because we wanted a package deal. But we went there every day for lunch and drinks ! Chris and her son nic were so helpful Looked forward to seeing them again ! If ever this hotel comes up as a package we will definitely stay there! Every thing about it was good location right on the beach 🏖️ it was very clean ! Food good massive portions. Just got back from an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel in Greece! The views were absolutely stunning, the souvlaki was the best I've ever had, and the hotel was really clean. The owners treated us like family, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place!

We did not stay at the hotel but did use the pool and snack bar on a few occasions. All I can say was it was clean abd well kept. However most of all the staff were very friendly and accomdating. The food and drinks were really good and well priced. We had a very positive experience and the young lad, I think he was the son was great. Picking mint from the plants for our drinks and taking care preparing...

Stopped off here for a dip in the pool and some lunch at the beach bar. Food is really nice, bar staff super friendly and the drinks are icy cold. It's free to use their pool and sunbeds as long as you spend a minimum of €30 at the bar/beach bar, which works out cheaper than paying for beds on the beach and food/drinks at a taverna. It's location is beach front so you have the best of both worlds

Very good location directly at the stand. Unfortunately, there was no service (reception was never manned). The hotel's food could do with a little more variety (we stayed 2 weeks and the breakfast was exactly the same every day). But if you only want to stay there for the night it's good as the hotel is right on the beach and you also have direct access to a supermarket and car rentals.

Second holiday at this hotel. The standards have dropped since we last visited. Definitely not 4 star, 3 at best. It has great views and a convenient beach although the free sun beds are rickety and uncomfortable. The beach is a bit stoney and unkempt but still good. Best beach is magic beach just along the coast. Best staff were Anna on reception and Katrina on the bar. The owners were always hovering...

Misleading description of the rooms to get more money from you - what you see on the images from booking.com about ‘partial see view or garden with the pool view’ is not what it is in reality. I got a room facing someone’s construction site with a glimpse of the sea if you stand in the corner of the window to see it. Definitely not worth the price they charge.
