Ionion Star Hotel

This hotel is ideally placed only minutes from the marina and also the main square with its fabulous restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and clean with large balconies overlooking the marina or the pool. The staff are wonderful and friendly and happy to give tips from the best beaches to the bus timetable to get you there. What definitely requires a mention is the pool which is one of the loveliest I have had the pleasure to swim in. This is a hotel I would return to again again, many thanks to the owners and the staff for their exceptional hospitality.

Perfectly acceptable hotel in a great location. The rooms were spotlessly clean and all linens were changed daily. The breakfast was ample and in keeping with the hotel. The location was on the edge of the old town and nowhere was too far to walk. Nice pool to lounge around. Very good value for money.

The best hotel in the city of Lefkada. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The pool area is perfect to relax and also very hygienic and clean. The breakfast was delicious, I didn't miss anything there.
And my special thank and appreciation goes to the staff of the hotel. They are super kind and friendly and always trying their best to help!

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way to meet friends and we had a great experience. The room was enormous, beautiful, very clean and comfortable with everything we could possibly have needed. There is a kitchen area with all facilities and large bathroom. We had a wrap around balcony with views of the pool which was also very clean and never crowded. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s about a 10-15 min walk into Preveza harbour where there were loads of inviting bars, restaurants and shops. The taxi from the airport is about 10-15 min and costs 25euro as you go through the tunnel with a toll charge. You can get drinks by the pool but there is no restaurant on site but lots of recommended places to walk to.

Hotel is in a great location with bars, marina & town square all close by. Lovely room overlooking the main square & sea. Clean with a comfortable bed & soft towels. Good selection of hot & cold food at breakfast- coffee particularly good! Nice clean pool that was surprisingly quite when we were there. Plenty of shade for those who want it and a handy pool bar.

The staff really make this hotel worthy of a five star rating … they’re friendly, helpful and it has a good feel to it. The rooms are a little dated but Aircon worked well and it was very comfortable and clean. There is a great swimming pool which you can use as a base before and after checking in/out which was helpful given we had to wait for our next plans

i had a three night stay with my family , I was very impressed with the service and hospitality I was provided throughout the whole stay for a greek island. They shared information about the island, for example where are the best beach places to visit, streets to take the best pictures and much more. They are the only hotel located in the town with a pool making this a family and friend zone for people of all ages. Located around the hotel are many car rentals, eating places, activities and attractions to visit, and many shops. Overall I was very happy with everything and would recommend to anyone visiting somewhere near by.

Hey everyone!!!!! This hotel is absolutely perfect - the location, the comfort, right in the heart of all the Lefkada action - relaxing and clean pool to cool off after a hot summer day spent at the beach or on a cruise around the island, short walk to shops and restaurants and the Instagram picture worthy spots in town for sunset. Delicious breakfast served in an upscale dining room, the most fluffy croissants and amazing rice pudding. But most of all - the personal and professional service you receive from every person that works at the hotel - thank you all for making our vacation so enjoyable!!!!!

This review is purely for spending a day at the hotel pool. We had to disembark our boat by 9 am and our flights were not until 9 pm the same evening. For the low price of under 100EUR we booked a room that we were not planning to sleep in, but to have use of the pool, pool bar and hotel room bathroom and shower for the day. It was definitely worth it! The pool is refreshing, and the service at the pool bar was wonderful. The staff we worked with were very helpful in accommodating us, and also arranged for multiple taxis for our group. They do have an option if you do not need to book a room for a night, you can pay I believe 10EUR per person for a day use of the pool, WC and shower at the pool as well.
