Stayed here for 10 nights with family in July. Cannot fault this hotel at all. The location is good, just across the road from lovely beach which you can cross easily by bridge. Road is busy at times but not too bad. Beach has lifeguard and is nice and clean. There is beach bar which is also nice. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned daily, pool area always clean, robot thing busy cleaning the pools every night. WiFi and air con all work very well. You don’t feel crowded anywhere, there’s plenty of space. The second pool(not the one by the main bar) is very relaxing, sometimes hardly anyone in there, but still has its own bar area. The staff are friendly, always busy but always willing to help. The food is good, well cooked with lots to choose from even for vegetarians. Evening entertainment 3 times a week - karaoke, tribute act and magic act, again no complaints. The cats roaming around don’t bother anyone and are very friendly. Our 10 days flew by and if we go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again 😊

Staying at beach side of the road, facing the busy road. Avoid rooms facing the road if you don’t want your sleep to be disturbed by traffic noise. Rooms at this side are new and nice. Lunch area is very small and it can be difficult to find a table at lunchtime. Staff letting guests smoke during lunchtime and this is very annoying and disrespectful. Lunch area is infested with cats begging for food at the tables.

This was our third time to the crete palm resort 4 star hotel. This hotel is by far a first class hotel. Everybody is so friendly & welcoming. All the house keeping are allways so happy & allways say kalimera in the morning. The hole place is absolutely spotless. The breakfast is so nice , with such a variety. And the staff just cant do enough for everyone. Be sure to visit the pool bar next to reception were you will meet Jimmy the barman. He brightens everyone one up & makes you laugh & also treats you like family. Such a funny man. The rooms are spacious & always very clean . Ghania is a 15 minute bus ride away , we're you have the old town & the harbour with so many bars & restaurants & little allyways with all the little shops. There are also so many nice restaurants along the hotel *****. Our favourite is by far Oinomelo. It's roughly 10 mins walk from the hotel . We're back at the end of September & cannot wait

I can’t say enough about this hotel it’s fabulous! It’s sooo clean , spacious rooms everything you need is right there EVERYONE is so helpful and friendly! It’s close to beach and close to restaurants and chania is 15 mins on the bus !! That’s why we are going back in September ! 💃🏼we love it 💙

We just returned from a fantastic stay and can warmly recommend this hotel. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. What really made our stay special was the incredibly friendly and service minded staff. Everyone from housekeeping to the pool bar team to the reception made us feel so welcome and taken care of. A very special thank you to Eva, the general manager, who was so flexible and helpful with booking our stay and keeping excellent communication before our arrival. Also her son Pedros deserves a huge compliment for his kindness and outstanding service. He helped us book a brilliant boat trip in Chania, gave us great advice on what to see when we rented a car, and was always ready with a smile and good suggestions. Thanks to the whole team for making our holiday so enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Solo Stay – Relaxing & Good Value I stayed at Creta Palm Resort solo for 4 nights on a bed and breakfast package with Jet2 and had a really enjoyable, relaxing time. The Good: Clean, comfortable room with a kitchenette – ideal for making simple meals if you don’t fancy eating out. Buffet breakfast had a decent variety, though it could get busy. Nearby cafes offer a full English for around €8 – perfect for a more relaxed morning. Plenty of sunbeds and space around both pools – no stress or early wake-ups needed! Pool bar served reasonably priced snacks and drinks. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful – especially appreciated when travelling alone. Resort layout felt peaceful and safe, with quiet internal roads used only by staff or guests with cars. Lovely location in a calm part of Crete with easy access to nearby spots. The Not-So-Good: Had a one-day issue with ants in the room, but it resolved quickly. Wi-Fi was hit or miss in the evenings. Can’t comment on the entertainment as I didn’t attend any shows. Overall: A great solo break in a well-maintained, budget-friendly resort. Would definitely return and recommend to other solo travellers looking for a relaxing, stress-free holiday in Crete.

Nice hotel just some parts letting it down. So hotel reception very nice very informative. The room very nice, disabled access room with air conditioning, lovely and cool. Great comfortable beds, though 2 beds pushed together. Wifi is sketchy, I brought an extender and that helped us in the room. Around the pool it was fine. Cleaners excellent really work hard. Pool is lovely well cleaned (great pool robot cleaner!) and bar staff fabulous. What has let it down was the serving restaurant staff. Food was good, puddings really lovely and the hot plate staff.. amazing. However some things advertised do not appear or are different, such as pizza and none was there. Pork belly was the worst, ended being pork chop! But.. the restaurant staff never say good evening or hello, when you ask something it's an abrupt answer, and you don't feel welcome. Faros cafe across the road shows exactly how it should be done, so much we ate there frequently because the food was nice but they made you feel welcome and important... Never did once in the restaurant. Felt as we were not all inclusive, not once did we get a nice greeting. I will add a lovely happy anniversary pudding given to us which we were grateful for.
