We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we were well looked after throughout our visit

They made me feel at home and always went the extra mile to ensure I had a comfortable stay. It’s rare to find a place where cleanliness, professionalism, and warm hospitality all come together so perfectly

Had a great honeymoon stay at the resort. They treated us well and we had an amazing upgraded room. The hotel is very nice and the all inclusive option is nice. Their drinks are good and the food isn’t bad

Luxury on the beach Fabulous hotel, we were fortunate to be upgraded to a junior suite, this was an absolute blessing as the only negative about the hotel is the “early sun bed rush”, but the junior suites have their own pools and sun beds

This is the perfect hotel if you’re looking for peace and relaxation, as it’s very calm and not lively. We took a taxi into Chania a couple of times, it’s a beautiful place and definitely worth visiting

Early April it was pretty quiet both at the hotel and in the area, which was nice. Service at the hotel was very friendly and helpful! Food at the restaurant was extremely good, highly recommend trying the a la carte

When we arrived we were met at the entrance and helped with our bags then given two bottles of cold water whilst we waited to be checked in; we were then briefly shown around and taken to our room

The hotel is a little out of town which is great to avoid the hustle and bustle but does require a taxi or a short walk from the end of the bus line

Stayed here for 10 nights with family in July. Cannot fault this hotel at all. The location is good, just across the road from lovely beach which you can cross easily by bridge. Road is busy at times but not too bad

Beach has lifeguard and is nice and clean. There is beach bar which is also nice. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned daily, pool area always clean, robot thing busy cleaning the pools every night

The food is good, well cooked with lots to choose from even for vegetarians. Evening entertainment 3 times a week - karaoke, tribute act and magic act, again no complaints

The cats roaming around don’t bother anyone and are very friendly. Our 10 days flew by and if we go back to Crete we would definitely stay here again 😊

He helped us book a brilliant boat trip in Chania, gave us great advice on what to see when we rented a car, and was always ready with a smile and good suggestions

The cleaners made our room everyday which is brilliant this is obviously optional you have signs on your door. I think it would have been a nice touch to put some water in each room everyday

We visited balos lagoon this is a must visit absolutely stunning. 45euro per person from like 9 till 7 with 2 stops one at the lagoon and another at a beach so worth the money

We have just got back from a week stay in this hotel as our friend got married in chania. Couldn't really fault this hotel at all was really quiet around the pool

The hotel was lovely and clean, staff where very friendly , especially Thais she was brilliant always smiling nothing was to much trouble for her, and also darius behind the bar, also mini bus driver

The staff has also helped us with booking reservations for several different landmarks/locations that we wanted to visit during our time on the island. The only bummer is that the receptionist made a mistake at arrival

We brought our two boys and they loved the mini waterpark and Kids’ Club. The 5 outdoor pools kept them excited all day. The buffet restaurant had great variety and the spa gave us some much‑needed relaxation too

To start off: WOW Such a lovely place. Me and my friends stayed for 2 full weeks with all inclusive, and this were JUST what we were looking for. We find the other reviews to be untrue

The cherry on the top is definately the staff. All of them have been lovely, and I would like to point out a great man named Mateo! He is a barman here, and he really knows his stuff

Giannis and Nikos the owners are always friendly and welcoming as are the cleaners, bar staff and kitchen staff, The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. The breakfast is always lovely with plenty of choice

Fantastic hotel The reviews are true. Right from the start our holiday at Folia Hotel was incredible. On booking I emailed the hotel requesting twin beds as I was travelling with my 15 year old son

Folia is amazing - spotless clean, nice rooms, great staff - and a place where time stands still. It’s perfectly located - just 100 meters of the mainroad - it gives you a nice and quiet feeling

The apartments are kept spotless and the ambiance at the pool and bar is one of calm relaxation. No wonder then that they have just been given the TUI Global Hotel Award for Quality in 2025

There are some wonderful tavernas right on the doorstep, all serving excellent food. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and it is beautiful and sandy, both on the shore and in the sea, so no stones/pebbles to deal with

The cocktails prepared by Neddy at the bar are outstanding, we enjoyed plenty of them! Happy hour was a daily staple! There is a lovely family atmosphere at the Minos Village, much nicer than a large resort hotel

Joseph and Zelda worked hard replenishing items at breakfast and serving delicious lunches. Happy hour 3-5pm provided great cocktails. The only thing missing was a complimentary bottle of water on arrival

Absolutely superb stay at the Minos Village. We were a group of 7, family and friends, aged 18 to 54. We had 3 studio apartments between us and we were very impressed by how modern and spacious they were

They were cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels too. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, happy to assist and organise taxis etc. The breakfast is very good and well organised

Plenty of sunbeds/parasols to hire. We used Nireas Beach Bar beds, which were 10 euro for a pair, with parasol for the day, drinks/food service to your bed and use of toilet facilities

Our second visit to this excellent hotel. We asked and were given the same room as the year before which we were very happy with. We had B&B again as there is a huge variety of items available

When you see what they offer, my assessment is: particularly overpriced!! The food is like a normal "bed and breakfast" Dear Atrion: I realize you want to milk us tourists as much money as possible, but this is simply unmusical

(You take 6 stars price for a 3 star breakfast) And: yes, i know it is cheper to buy breakfast for the complete stay. This is priced at 17,5 Euros pr person, pr day according to Apollo

To compare: a 6 star breakfast, at a top hotell in Norway where there is a Barista present, a juice-chef, and a cook thats makes your egg/bacon/omelet for you, is prised much cheeper

Does better places exists? Yes Does more exclusive places exists? Yes But compared to the price for the stay its 5 stars hands down The rooms are a food size, the beds are resonable, there was 2 aircon units in our rooms making the rooms a nice 21 degress even when if was 34 outside in the shade and 50+ in the sun The room service came daily and the hotel both in the rooms and on the grounds was...

But as we had most of our food on top rated restaurant via trip advisor outside of the hotel it was not a problem for us we only had lunch on the hotel twice for the reasons above There are so many good places to eat in Agia Marina so no need to settle for pre-heated food at premium prices All in all we would come again and recommend this hotel to others

Pool area were clean and nice. Rooms, restaurants etc were clean. Could defenetely go back! Area was nice and guiet at nights. There was a lot children families

To this day, Vergina Beach Hotel is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed! Right on the beach, beautiful pool, private jacuzzi, sauna and unbelievably delicious breakfast! Our stay was absolutely amazing, even during rainy days

Staff and management are absolutely excellent top notch service and always willing to go over and above, helpful with food recommendations and a kind word we had the owner take time out of his busy day to drive my mother in law to dinner she is 81 and first vacation in years and she had an amazing time and all the management including Theonisis and Anna are absolutely fabulous and thoughtful 10/10...

A lovely family run high end hotel directly at probably the best sandy beach in the Chania area. The management and the very service minded staff pays high attention to all guests

The apartment was spotless, beautifully renovated, and well-equipped with everything we needed – even a washing machine and a hot tub on the balcony! Beds were super comfy, Wi-Fi was fast, and the beach was just a 2-minute walk away

Just back from a weeks stay at Sun Ray Apartments and my only disappointment was that I didn't book for two weeks

We were on the first floor and the guests staying in the apartment next door are in full view on the balcony and even from the bedroom, which makes things a little uncomfortable for both sets of guests

a good hotel by the sea, its own beach, a restaurant with a view of the sea, a large parking lot, the only downside is that for some reason they also made parking spaces right in front of the windows of some of the rooms, it would be better if they weren't there, it spoils the view, the staff is nice, everyone is polite, we were surprised that they gave us a brand new umbrella for free to use for...

The staff are all ridiculously friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was terrific and the view from our room was lovely. (We had room 6 which is supposedly the best one) Hope to visit again in the future

The best hotel in agia marina on the best strip of beach - we walked most of it and it's the best section of beach and sea by far

The location is great, you have a walking distance to everything you need (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, shops) Big and nice rooms with great balconys, the room had everything you need and were always very clean! I have a 1-year old and they put a very good bed/crib for my son in the room

Me and a group of 17 people (5 kids) stayed here for a week. The staff and the family that owns this hotel were so friendly and so kind! We felt so welcome and at home

The large clean studios near the beach with the kitchen and a huge balcony. There is all that you may need, kitchen, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, air conditioning, and also all infrastructure around

One of the best apartments we ever visited, we stayed only one night, but it would be comfortable for a long time. Very hospitable hosts, ready to help on any issue, love and know their business

The cleaning team are amazing, not just the rooms but the hotel and grounds are all immaculately kept. Great service at the pool bar and the guys that bring your drink direct to your sunbed if requested

This was the second time we've stayed at the Thalassa and we were so pleased we did. Fantastic hotel , lovely staff , great room and a good size balcony with a pull out clothes drier

The sunbeds on the grassy area by the pool were very much in demand every day, but we preferred the beach anyway (coarse sand and rocky when you go into the sea so take beach shoes!) Everywhere was very clean and tidy, a well-looked after hotel

All the staff are very welcoming and attentive; a special mention goes to Klapsas the cat for keeping us entertained at breakfast! Bar area and Ouzaki beach restaurant are lovely to have lunch in, the bar has a nice vibe in the evening

We rented a lovely day bed and towels and enjoyed the sun, bar, and restaurant service. The staff was all polite and professional. Our lunch of pork gyros was delicious. This was a great way to spend a windy day

Back for a 2nd year and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in one of the sea view rooms again (#500 row) which gives you a view of the pool, sea and bar, and even though the hotel is quite compact it isn’t noisy

Great service from the crew in the reception too, they helped us with everything from luggage to booking of excursions. All in all, I’m happy to recommend this Hotel and I’m likely to return if I visit Crete again

Just returned from a week at this fabulous hotel. This hotel is amazing the bed one of the comfiest i've ever slept in. The attention to details is second to none and i would 100 percent stay there again

Nice room/suite and facilities, clean, peaceful environment and top tier service from the lovely staff! The room was very well equiped, good comfortable bed, great air condition, bathroom supplies including razors and other useful items

Welcome drink on arrival and a voucher for a free drink at the bar also. Pool area is relaxed and there are loungers on beach and round the pool so best of both options. Rooms are clean and comfortable

Also a ironing board and iron so one could get wrinkels out of the shirts. Breakfast was superb and a good variety to choose from, all with an magnificent seaview and friendly considerate staff

well, i walked into the room twice, and looked like my other half had made the bed, not the housekeeping team. I complained at reception about this. 5* hotel and the bed and bathroom looks scruffy

The receptionist at the time, couldn't care less. Infact i had to bother him whilst he he was scrolling the internet on his phone. Most of the staff (by pool bar) were fabulous. Restaurant staff, hit and miss

(Food excellent 1st and 2nd night) however, got worse and worse as the week went on (closer to closing the hotel). Drinks (cocktails) VERY good and plentiful

The menu is vast, and available on every table at the pool bar. One downside, if you are AI, you cannot drink at the bar inside which i find ridiculous

I dont particularly like sitting outside in a hoodie, when there is a perfectly good bar inside (for paying guests)

Had to be told numerous times to clear our table and reset at breakfast. Its not 5* and if we were allocated our original room type after paying an additonal €105 , i would not have been happy

Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually. The room were big enough and the bed was very comfortable

Martin from the animation/entertainment team was great! We all really enjoyed the daily darts game! Theodora (training captain) in the buffet restaurant was amazing, my 10 month old daughter absolutely loved her

Even outside the resort the local businesses were so friendly and not pushy for sales, in fact they gave us free drinks and gifts for our children! Can not recommend this resort and the area enough!

Rooms were spacious and very accommodating. We ate the buffet dinner here once and it was mediocre. The food just didn’t taste like some of the other food we had in the area

Hotel was nice with plenty of amenities, but not really within walking distance to any shops or restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute cab ride to old down town Chania

It only took us 2 minutes till we reached the sea (the actual water). The only thing that may upset some people was the view. Our room did not have a sea view or any spectacular view at all

It is a bit away from the town of Chania but with plenty of cafes, restaurants and several shops around

For instance, a dark curtain that fully covers the window instead of just part of it, providing a sponge in addition to dish detergent, and having a convenient place in the shower cabin to put your shampoo and body wash

The apartment was clean and neat, and the location is quite convenient. The underground parking is a definite plus. However, there are some minor details that, if improved, would significantly enhance the experience

The location is good and the breakfast is barely acceptable. Second, the front desk is a bit inconvenient at 8 am and 10 pm. If you go out every day or work, and just sleep in the room, it is actually a good choice

My family had the most amazing stay at the Kallitsakis Beach hotel. Myself and husband and our two young daughters  highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Platanias Town in Chania, Crete

The beach is at the end of the path, 50 meters away and the cozy center with shops, bars and restaurants around the corner. We had a fantastic time and definitely recommend this accommodation!

We are leaving tomorrow and will be sad because we have had a fabulous time. The receptionists, owner and cleaners are all excellent, spotless apartments and nothing too much trouble

The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and allowed us to check out a little later due our daughter falling ill with a temperature. The sevice was exceptional as well
