2 star hotels in Kefalos

Didn’t stay at this hotel because we wanted a package deal. But we went there every day for lunch and drinks ! Chris and her son nic were so helpful Looked forward to seeing them again ! If ever this hotel comes up as a package we will definitely stay there! Every thing about it was good location right on the beach 🏖️ it was very clean ! Food good massive portions. Just got back from an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel in Greece! The views were absolutely stunning, the souvlaki was the best I've ever had, and the hotel was really clean. The owners treated us like family, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place!

We did not stay at the hotel but did use the pool and snack bar on a few occasions. All I can say was it was clean abd well kept. However most of all the staff were very friendly and accomdating. The food and drinks were really good and well priced. We had a very positive experience and the young lad, I think he was the son was great. Stopped off here for a dip in the pool and some lunch at the beach bar. Food is really nice, bar staff super friendly and the drinks are icy cold. It's free to use their pool and sunbeds as long as you spend a minimum of €30 at the bar/beach bar, which works out cheaper than paying for beds on the beach and food/drinks at a taverna. It's location is beach front so you have the best of both worlds

Very good location directly at the stand. Unfortunately, there was no service (reception was never manned). The hotel's food could do with a little more variety (we stayed 2 weeks and the breakfast was exactly the same every day). But if you only want to stay there for the night it's good as the hotel is right on the beach and you also have direct access to a supermarket and car rentals.

Wow what can I say, a little piece of heaven on earth. A traditional family run hotel and restaurant at a beach location. Renowned Greek hospitality is ever present. Had room with side sea view.. small but ok. Wasn’t staying on a package and stayed 2 nights. Had lunch in restaurant and it was good.. BUT… The quality of the breakfast is very very poor -Suggesting they provide it because they have to (package guests). So bad we didn’t bother second day and instead went to super cafe 5 minutes down the road. I gave feedback but I know it won’t be taken on board. Perhaps...

We are halfway through our stay here and are finding it so relaxing. This is a typical family run Greek hotel with great family service. Had a great holiday from 7th to 14th May. Well what can I say. What an absolutely fabulous family Hotel. Rooms are so clean. A simple breakfast but was on holiday. The restaurant at the hotel was fantastic the food fresh cooked to order and freshly delivered the same day. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. Will be back.

Great Hotel , breakfast fantastic . Slight issue with broken draws in cupboard. But that's just such a small thing , not worried really , would never spoil the hotel , staff and the holiday . Lovely hotel, but is up the hill & there are lots of stairs, no lifts. The main part of the hotel is away from the rooms, which was great because the rooms were super quiet. Will definitely return.

Family of 4 stayed in a family room with a double bed and bunk bed. Our room had ample storage for us all and we didn't use some drawers or clothes rail. Room had air conditioning which there is no charge for, a small fridge and a balcony with table and chairs. Rooms are nice and tidy, most, if not all rooms also have a balcony which is reasonably big. The breakfast is good enough, we didn't eat much because we were saving ourselves for restaurants anyway. There is free coffee and juice as well for the breakfast so if you want to, you can just go get a cup of coffee.

Lovely hotel, the owners and the staff are fantastic. We had a lovely time. It was my partners first time in any part of Greece and he loved it. So much so he wants to return as soon as possible. Breakfast was okay, it’s a standard continental breakfast. Hotel and amenities are clean and tidy, the rooms very clean.

It was fine! Janet was absolutely lovely, always making sure we were comfortable and good, very nice. The rest of the staff were also very kind. Wonderful welcome from Janet which was the start of a lovely week at the Pantheon. The best views ( full moon over the bay was stunning) from our balcony. Kos is a beautiful island but the pantheon made it so much better!! The room was perfect with everything you need, the view was absolutely stunning from wherever you where in the hotel and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. Gutted when we had to leave, but the pantheon is definitely somewhere to stay at ☺️ X

Great hotel! This is our third summer holiday in a row here. The setting is breathtaking, the rooms are clean and comfy. The owners and staff go that extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. Highly recommended.

The hotel is really nice. A excellent standard for a 2 star. Don't let that put you off. It's a family run hotel and very clean. If you want to, there's plenty of good humour to be enjoyed in the bar in the evening with Nick and Co if you choose to join in. There's a ton on of local tavernas to eat at, as the hotel only offers food during the day up to around 3pm. The breakfast could probably be improved...

Just got home from 5 nights at Hotel Zeus. From the minute we checked in, the family owned hotel was fantastic. One of the members was always on hand to assist. A friendly family run hotel just a short walk from the beach, in a quiet area. Rooms are basic but very clean. All have balconies, air-conditioning /heater. Kettle and normal size fridge in the room, but you're asked not to eat and drink in the hotel room as they have a pool bar, although it wasn't open in the beginning of May. The best accomodation in Kefalos, probably in all of Kos island. Barbara is one of the best guests I've had so far, very nice and welcoming. She was always available to give advice and make the stay the most comfortable possible. I would recommend it to anybody, anytime!

Lovely place. I have stayed in so many places in Kos with excellent breakfast their breakfast was a real letdown, but what a lovely family run hotel.

You get what you pay for, and for what this 10 day holiday cost we found our accommodation to be excellent value. We brought a kettle but as we were out and about didn’t need it often. The rooms are clean and regularly serviced with fresh towels and bedding. The bathroom was dated with that tiny Greek shower where the temperature offers surprises and the water won’t stay in the tray, but the sun soon...

Amazing hotel managed by a wonderful family. They're always willing to help and we felt very welcomed. They have a lively bar by the pool area with ice cold beer ans snaks. The prices are more than affordable and the service 10/10. I absolutely loved it and will definitely return next year

One of the loveliest, friendliest, good with children, family run places we have stayed in. Very Greek 🇬🇷, basic, spotlessly clean, lovely bed linen. Close to a beach and a couple of tavernas. Very quiet. We hope to visit again for our third visit next year.

We (a couple) tried Kefalos for the first time (regular visitors to Kos) this year and picked the Manolis studios, just on a whim. Our stay was absolutely fine and we found lots of spectacular scenery, because the best beaches are round this side of the island. It isn't the best resort (Kefalos) for those with teenage (or thereabouts) kids who demand a lot of activities, as it's more an adult/seniors...

Rooms okay apart from being inundated by Ants on the balcony we were ground floor visits by Cockroaches on numerous occasions in the room& outside, bathroom from the 80;s in need of full referb small shower tray not much room to wash , which totally floods the whole bathroom floor. We went self catering asked to hire a toaster they do not provide this which is a must...

I had a fantastic stay at Albatross Studios and will recommend it to anyone without any doubt. Everything was perfect: the beachfront location, the clean and newly furnished apartment, the nice food offered and most of all the friendliness and attentive care of the amazing staff. Albatross Studios will definitely be again my place of stay on my next trip to Kos island!

The owner speaks little English, but makes an incredible effort to accommodate and adapt to every request. Very clean, on request daily: cleaning, fresh towels and even bed linen. Unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and town beach 5 minutes walk. For the beautiful beaches you need a vehicle.

Beautiful clean refreshing sea, uncrowded beaches. Pleasant accommodation corresponding to the studio category with regular cleaning. The stay is a bit spoiled by mosquitoes and missing insect nets.
