5 star hotels in Kefalos

Second holiday at this hotel. The standards have dropped since we last visited. Definitely not 4 star, 3 at best. It has great views and a convenient beach although the free sun beds are rickety and uncomfortable. The beach is a bit stoney and unkempt but still good. Misleading description of the rooms to get more money from you - what you see on the images from booking.com about ‘partial see view or garden with the pool view’ is not what it is in reality. I got a room facing someone’s construction site with a glimpse of the sea if you stand in the corner of the window to see it. Definitely not worth the price they charge. Just arrived home from the royal bay suites, staying from the 5th may 2024 till 12 th may . On arrival at the hotel we received a lovely warm welcome from receptionist Michelle on she was so helpful warm and friendly, also including the rest of the hotel staff.
