Where to stay in Kefalos

Second holiday at this hotel. The standards have dropped since we last visited. Definitely not 4 star, 3 at best. It has great views and a convenient beach although the free sun beds are rickety and uncomfortable. The beach is a bit stoney and unkempt but still good. Misleading description of the rooms to get more money from you - what you see on the images from booking.com about ‘partial see view or garden with the pool view’ is not what it is in reality. Just got back from an incredible stay at this beautiful hotel in Greece! The views were absolutely stunning, the souvlaki was the best I've ever had, and the hotel was really clean. The owners treated us like family, making the experience even more special. Highly recommend this place!

We did not stay at the hotel but did use the pool and snack bar on a few occasions. All I can say was it was clean abd well kept. However most of all the staff were very friendly and accomdating. Stopped off here for a dip in the pool and some lunch at the beach bar. Food is really nice, bar staff super friendly and the drinks are icy cold. It's free to use their pool and sunbeds as long as you spend a minimum of €30 at the bar/beach bar, which works out cheaper than paying for beds on the beach and food/drinks at a taverna. It's location is beach front so you have the best of both worlds

Very good location directly at the stand. Unfortunately, there was no service (reception was never manned). The hotel's food could do with a little more variety (we stayed 2 weeks and the breakfast was exactly the same every day). But if you only want to stay there for the night it's good as the hotel is right on the beach and you also have direct access to a supermarket and car rentals.

Great location for the area, the beach is so close, the pool is clean and big and great, our room was comfortable and the staff friendly. Offering nice breakfast and we booked it in the middle of August at very good prices.

You get what you pay for, and for what this 10 day holiday cost we found our accommodation to be excellent value. We brought a kettle but as we were out and about didn’t need it often. Kos is a beautiful island but the pantheon made it so much better!! The room was perfect with everything you need, the view was absolutely stunning from wherever you where in the hotel and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. Great Hotel , breakfast fantastic . Slight issue with broken draws in cupboard. But that's just such a small thing , not worried really , would never spoil the hotel , staff and the holiday . Rooms are nice and tidy, most, if not all rooms also have a balcony which is reasonably big. The breakfast is good enough, we didn't eat much because we were saving ourselves for restaurants anyway. There is free coffee and juice as well for the breakfast so if you want to, you can just go get a cup of coffee.

Lovely hotel, the owners and the staff are fantastic. We had a lovely time. It was my partners first time in any part of Greece and he loved it. So much so he wants to return as soon as possible. The best accomodation in Kefalos, probably in all of Kos island. Barbara is one of the best guests I've had so far, very nice and welcoming. She was always available to give advice and make the stay the most comfortable possible. I would recommend it to anybody, anytime!

I had a fantastic stay at Albatross Studios and will recommend it to anyone without any doubt. Everything was perfect: the beachfront location, the clean and newly furnished apartment, the nice food offered and most of all the friendliness and attentive care of the amazing staff. Albatross Studios will definitely be again my place of stay on my next trip to Kos island!

Excellent little bar and grill in kephalos! Went for the XL Ribeye steak and was not disappointed - food was cooked to perfection and the large selection of wines on offer just made the meal. The owner speaks little English, but makes an incredible effort to accommodate and adapt to every request. Very clean, on request daily: cleaning, fresh towels and even bed linen. Unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and town beach 5 minutes walk. For the beautiful beaches you need a vehicle.

Beautiful clean refreshing sea, uncrowded beaches. Pleasant accommodation corresponding to the studio category with regular cleaning. The stay is a bit spoiled by mosquitoes and missing insect nets.
