We (a couple) tried Kefalos for the first time (regular visitors to Kos) this year and picked the Manolis studios, just on a whim. Our stay was absolutely fine and we found lots of spectacular scenery, because the best beaches are round this side of the island. It isn't the best resort (Kefalos) for those with teenage (or thereabouts) kids who demand a lot of activities, as it's more an adult/seniors...

We had a great 2 weeks stay at Manolis Studios. The rooms were basic but cleaned regularly and comfortable. The only downside was that the bathroom flooded every time we had a shower, so wet feet everytime we went into the bathroom. I had a fantastic stay at Albatross Studios and will recommend it to anyone without any doubt. Everything was perfect: the beachfront location, the clean and newly furnished apartment, the nice food offered and most of all the friendliness and attentive care of the amazing staff. Albatross Studios will definitely be again my place of stay on my next trip to Kos island!

The owner speaks little English, but makes an incredible effort to accommodate and adapt to every request. Very clean, on request daily: cleaning, fresh towels and even bed linen. We stayed here for two weeks in August 2015. Caryl was the British girl running the pool bar and she was incredibly helpful and friendly. The apartments were basic but spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool and surrounding area were clean and a good size for the complex. Kefalos is a lovely friendly resort with many excellent restaurants, good beaches and lots of boat trips etc to keep the kids...

We stopped at the Origin for 2 weeks. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and complimentary drinks. The rooms were very clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. as soon as we arrived at the apartments we were instantly welcomed and felt part of the family, we felt very safe and looked after as three 18 year old girls. Kostas (sorry if it’s the wrong spelling) made our stay especially amazing. Only fault is our water pressure in the shower and the temperature was unreliable, however i think that’s due to them being solar powered and not the fault of the hotel...

Was really pleased with the room, was shocked at the quality considering the low price ! Our home away from home! We have been coming here for 5 years now this year with my whole family staying for a wedding. Yannis and Daniella are the most lovely people so caring accommodating and hilariously funny. The rooms are traditional and Greek. They are immaculately clean and in a prime location for the village. Portrayed as exclusive luxury, but is far from it and was in fact really disappointing. Seemed reassuringly expensive, but in practice just a basic offering that felt overpriced. Client relationship manager was very attentive and did her best to improve our stay despite the hotel’s many shortcomings.

Amazing holiday here. Beach all-inclusive drinks service was the cherry on top. Pictures are from Mediterranean restaurant, you get one free meal there and one at an Asian restaurant per 7 day stay. I recommend trying to get the Med one twice if possible.

Nikos 2 is not to be overlooked. Family run and very friendly resort. We stumbled on Nikos 2 by chance 4 years ago and have returned every year since. Absolutely beautiful hotel overlooking the sea. Well appointed simple rooms, water and mini wine in fridge with a couple of local pastries. Lovely toiletries. Housekeeping perfect. Great rooms, genuinely friendly staff and the sea right in front of the private beach is lovely and full of a variety of fish. The coffee is surprisingly good. There is some music from the bar next door, but with the door closed it is not audible. Generally you are outside of the crowdedness in this hotel. The views from the balconies are absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend

I stayed here in June for a couple of days – perfectly located a bit off the beaten path, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, yet still close enough to the city center. The service was excellent, both at the hotel and the private beach club. Best of all, it’s conveniently close to the airport. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Very positive experience. Staff made us most welcome and the 'hotel' was in a superb position. Will be returning asap. However, just a couple of gripes. We were there for 14 nights and and the 2 teabags, 2 shampoos , 2 small waters and 2 body washes were never replaced which I have never experienced with other hotels. Budget hotel, no frills, however it gives a beautiful view of mountain Dikaios, and the sea. Room are done to a high standard however maybe a little dated, no TV and the WiFi in the top-floor rooms is nonexistent. Overall very nice we would definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Kardamena.

It is quite a walk away from the village centre but walking along the beach before and after dinner actually made the experience better. Had roughly 10-20 cars drive past us each way. We come here everyday with my animation team to have a coffee or a drink and chill around the pool. So friendly bartenders, very good drinks and quiet pool area, also i like the white and blue buildings, and its just next to the beach. Prices are also good and its very clean.

Currently at my second stay here, came last year and decided to come again this year. Am currently on a 10 night holiday but things are not as good last year, the food was good last year but this year not as good. We booked very last minute for a 3 night stay. We were able to upgrade for 2 of the nights to one of the luxury swim up room, which was incredible. Just returned from 11 days at Aspro Spiti and loved it. Spotless comfy beds and pillows and really spacious accommodation. We stayed in Jasmine apt set in pleasant courtyard with shrubs and flowers. The pool area and beds also good and location at the top of the ***** excellent. The owners and staff so hard working and friendly would definitely recommend!

Myself and best friend have just returned from a wonderful week at Aspro Spiti , I had requested a room with the morning sun and they were very accomodating. Everything was clean, the rooms good as expexted. The food was nice although a limited menu for vegetarians. The music was a bit too loud throughout the day, however it wasn't a problem during the night.

The area is awful. It’s cheap, it’s everything but authentic. It’s all cheesy bars and souvenir shops and has zero flair. The hotel itself was ok. It’s imitating the style of many much more expensive hotels (clean design, earthy colours, …). The included breakfast was a big letdown: almost no fruits, greasy eggs and sausages and filter coffee. We spent our vacation in the Cook's Club Hotel. The food is amazingly good!! The rooms are nice and the beach is just a few minutes away. The pool has a perfect chilling area and the cats are my personal highlight. A big prop to the whole staff, because they are the whole time so friendly and helpful!

This is our third visit to Kos staying a short distance up the road from White Pearls, nice to get out and the restaurant and bar at this hotel are amazing. Amazing hotel, 5 star service all staff are so friendly. Beds are so comfortable. Bus stop right outside hotel is very handy and beach is beautiful. Breakfast was yummy and lots of option only let down was the lunch so we did not dine in all inclusive restaurant very much. Lots of drink options. Italian restaurant is beautiful so definitely book this when you go. Had the best stay, thank you!
