Best Hotels in Kefalos

The beach is a bit stoney and unkempt but still good. Best beach is magic beach just along the coast. Best staff were Anna on reception and Katrina on the bar

The hotel has a stunning location with panoramic views of the bay. Rooms were large and kept spotless ,including a fridge. The breakfast was also very good lots of choice. Will hopefully return again later in the season

The standards have dropped since we last visited. Definitely not 4 star, 3 at best. It has great views and a convenient beach although the free sun beds are rickety and uncomfortable

On arrival at the hotel we received a lovely warm welcome from receptionist Michelle on she was so helpful warm and friendly, also including the rest of the hotel staff

Whatever room you book here will have the best view in Kefalos. A few nights we sat in the jacuzzi with a glass of something stargazing. The food at the hotel was very very good and at a very reasonable price too

A couple of nights we were a bit tired from sightseeing so ordered in room service which was prompt and again we were amazed at how good it was and not too expensive

The breakfast buffet was a little more than standard and a good start to the morning. With a rental car you can get to a lot of places within 5-10 minutes which I recommend since the hotel is on a hill

This was our first trip to Kos and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. This is easily the best hotel that my girlfriend and I have ever stayed in

The room was very nice with a huge comfy bed and the bathroom was great but the highlight was the terrace with jacuzzi. The view from this took in the whole of the bay at Kefalos

The location, for Kos, is good but the beach is “grey” not “white,” with many big rocks in the sea. On the bright side - tesla rental is excellent

3rd visit to Ikos in 3 years and probably the best so far. Dassia was very good, Odisia was disappointing but Aria is excellent. Stand out service and great grounds/facilities

Not a massive issue for me as the a la cartes are great but still if they economise much more it’s going to be way bellow what people expect from Ikos. Anyway that aside, the place is fantastic and worth every penny

The beach is pristine with amazing views and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The all inclusive just tops it off for me compared to other hotels we have stayed at

Little perks included were a Tesla for the day ! Nice ! Evening cruise which was nice. they also have a courtesy bus which goes into Kos town if you wish

And oh if you won't go for the beach,please visit Kefalos for the food!! It is so very good. There were a few mishaps with room cleaning. One day they forgot our towels and the next the bed linen

Fantastic family hotel - we go regularly and always enjoy our stay. Staff could not be more welcoming and location, facilities and accommodation are really good value for money

Nice clean room, good food but most of all very friendly staff, very helpfull, we felt very welcom. We arrived around noon, were directed to the room and told we could get some food in their garden- restaurant

We got some refreshing salads and a glass of coca cola with ice, that was very nice. The food is good and freshly made. Breakfast has many nice things to choose from, even English breakfast

Breakfasts are varied and good in quality and Covid measures reassuring

They even organized us a scooter, after we had some problems with a company. The apartment was really comfy and clean. No room service, but you can always ask for towels or other things you need at the reception

Perfect choice if you wanna stay in a peaceful and rather familial environment. The staff is amazing, always up for a nice chat and also willing to give you recommendations for your stay on the isle

We stayed at one of Small Village Maisonettes in October Total peace and completely undisturbed Our room was a bit higher,so we could enjoy the best view of the great sunsets

The nearby beach was also pleasant and the beautiful sunsets were a highlight each evening. There was plenty of choice of food and drink at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the quality was always good

Car hire is the best way to explore other beaches and resorts on the island as the location is a bit removed from the main tourist areas

Our rooms were comfortable, clean and well positioned close to one of the pools. The grounds of the hotel were attractive and well maintained and there was lots of space for guests around the two pools

Aaron was the absolute light of my entire stay. He is so bubbly and nice to everyone and really helped me out when I felt anxious on my first day without a charger

The hotel is a great place to stay in Kos. The food was amazing, the whole place is simply beautiful, you feel like in a small, cozy city

The neighborhood is only twice the hotel, otherwise wasteland. About 3 km to the larger town of Mastichári. Beach, public and small, sun loungers and parasols free of charge. Access to the sea is not ideal for children

Just one little complain about missing beach chairs and sunshades. But it was made up with very friendly staff (e. girls at dining room were awsome). 😉 It's an amazing place and they have a great food

Smaller, quieter, but very nice **** hotel. Large pool for swimming, a wading pool for toddlers, an outdoor hot tub, wading pool with fountains. Poolside Bar, where he plays most of the day music

The food in the dining room without any problems, everyone chooses. Shopping possibilities about 200 meters, on one other side from the hotel, where is the shop where you buy the basic things

Breakfast was fab, eggs everyway thinkable, fresh everything, the fresh bread was such a treat as was the abilty to squeeze my own OJ each morning. Dinner was good too, always lots of tasty things to choose from

A great hotel, very good food and a very large pool with plenty of sunbeds; people were able to turn up after 10:30 or 11:00 and still have a reasonable choice of beds

We booked this adults-only resort for 11 nights, having used TUI Blue before and were delighted we did so again as they make everything run smoothly

Toiletries were very nice, full size Olivia Thinks which I confess to taking with me to give to my daughter Olivia! We had sliding doors out onto a terrace with sun loungers, chairs and a table which led to our swim up pool which was very much the highlight of our stay

We were given a brown paper bag containing a sandwich, crisps, banana and carton of orange juice; although the sandwich was pretty dry and tasteless this was very well received! A lovely chap in a buggy took us and our luggage to our room

Many paths are cobbled which I can see would make it tricky for the less able to negotiate but we had no problem. There are views of the mountains and out to sea views of the volcanic islands which is just breath-taking

Location has a beautiful view and a golden sand beach, it is very good for short bus journeys anywhere around Kos. The overall service was excellent and the bar staff were outstanding

Our only issue was the room (155) had absolutely no hot water thought our seven night stay. After three reports to reception, which I was fobbed off with, eventually on the fourth report we were offered a change of rooms

Secondly, offered a junior suite which we viewed & decided not to move into. Given we’d have to move all our stuff to a different part of the hotel for only two nights

Other than that issue, we had a wonderful stay & would certainly return. So much so we have booked another Atlantica hotel in a different part of Greece for next year

I have attached some photos of the hotel, which was always spotlessly clean & with friendly staff. S the bed & pillows were the comfiest I’ve ever slept on!

We were firstly offered a double room near to our original room, which was declined as it was not to the same standard of room which I booked and paid for

Our experience was just great and we loved it. Just some advice for future guests: You don't need to bring beach towels. You get these to rent free of charge at the reception desk or Spa

We have spent one week in this hotel. We stayed in nice and new apartment. The rooms were really clean and bed were comfy. The stuff in this hotel is extremely kind

The private beach is a plus as well. I like the many options to hang out in the areal. The stuff is friendly, good service, helpful

Some stains could be easily cleaned with right products and some effort. The food is good, I always find something, however, sometimes it did not look so nice. All in all I had a very good and comfortable stay!

The Hotel area is very beautyful. The size of the room, especially the bathroom, is perfect. I love the free safe as well as the electronic handling in connection with the cleaning service

Been here twice now, and it is good. The rooms are spacious, and the pools are clean. Since my first visit in 2018, the food and drink has gone downhill. The beers and cocktails available tasted very poor.

This is an all-inclusive hotel that rates 4 real world stars depending on where you are standing. The food is great, with loads of variety, and the restaurant staff are great, but a little over stretched

All pools are in full sunlight for most of the day, very little shade for children or non sun worshipers. Sun loungers are taken very early and limited fixed parasols

If you venture into the toilets of the main building, you will see how tired parts of the hotel are. A lot of the signage is old and relates to an old layout

We're in the hotel right now and do not really understand some of the complaints below. The rooms are clean and spacey, stuff is friendly and the location is awesome - just a few minutes from town but very quiet

The room we have has a fabulous view of the sea, large room with a very comfortable bed. All the staff here are so polite and friendly. Used the Spa today again fabulous experience with well trained staff

Discussion about it's 4 or 5 stars hotel seems to me pointless. Yes, we have been in more fancier places, but for this price we cant hardly imagine that this hotel should be better

A live food section which offers different options but all the food is well cooked and compared to other all inclusive resorts is very good. Staff in the restaurant are great and clear your table very quickly

There is also some specialty restaurants which are very nice too. There is a wide range of all inclusive drinks plus a pizza, sandwich and ice cream area which you can help yourself to

Entertainment A wide variety of activities for all age groups throughout the day and night. The holiday village staff are amazing and work so hard to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves

The local town is around 6 minutes away on foot and has its own beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is a 10 minute transfer from the airport which is great after a 4 hour flight

Very nice place to live there douring your vacation. It's near at port. Night Life is going closed at the hotel. A recommendation for all People, young and old. Cost-performance is good.

Cleanliness of the room itself is okay, but the bathroom was pretty questionable when we arrived. Only good thing is that it's close to everything since it's literally in the middle of everything and air conditioning

Also taxi and bus stop outside. Just down the road approx 40 metres was the square with great bars and restaurants - we could not have had a better location. Ten minutes from the airport 15 euros June 2023

What we liked is that the hotel is located near an intersection with all the shops closeby. In the morning and evenings the hallway to the room can be noisy. We loved our stay and we'd definently come here again!

What a great little find Vasilios the owner was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Location was perfect for people watching, with a supermarket and bakery on the doorstep

I was surprised by the familiar atmosphere in that hotel. The reception was on a incredible high standard and also Jimmy the Barkeeper prepared us some very good cocktails while we could watch the football game

Shout out to Dimitris (Jimmy) in the bar who gave lots of advice about where to go and places to eat and also for getting us drunk. Worth every penny!! We will definitely return soon!!!

Stayed here from 28/06/2024 to 09/07/2024. The room was spotless, spacious and very modern. We stayed in the Deluxe room with a spa on the outside balcony

The place is amazing!! The staff are really helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food at the snack bar was great quality

Hotel Cleopatra superior is excellent first rate in all categories food staff rooms etc kalamadena is also very beautiful wit plenty for all walks of life

Lovely staff, good prices, great pool, no struggle for sunbeds either and they have mattresses on too, so comfortable as well. Rooms are basic but spotless and air conditioning is available

There are 3 cleopatra hotels in 5min walking distance that can be used. Also discount at 1960 bar, Alma restaurant. Great location easy walk to beach, town and supermarket. Snorkeling near sunbeam restaurant is great

The dishes are very tasty, the pizza is also outstanding, the best Italian in Germany. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful and the dinner is really very good

Across the street, you will reach the hotel beach in just 1 min or you can walk through the little shopping streets within 5-10 min from the hotel. The food selection at the hotel restaurant is amazing

In the heart of Kardemena this hotel is one of a group of three Cleopatra Hotels. The staff are happy to help with No problem too small. The barmen work there socks off day and night serving the thirsty masses

The Continental Breakfast is enough to keep you going to late afternoon / early evening. If you choose this hotel for your stay you will not be dissappointed

Loved it! Not too big, not overcrowded. Two times Beachvolleyball per day. Great selection at breakfast and lunch. I especially loved the local coffee prep with hot sand! Best vacation so far!

Definitely not at 5 star level, more a 3+ or at best a 4 star rating. Even though we booked a high rate room (sea view), broken doors and faulty water outlets in the bathroom isn’t what one expects in a 5 star property

Virus prevention is present in the background and absolutely not disturbing! The hotel is remembering guests even after 5 years! I like to walk the long beach every day (multiple km !), take a bath in the sea to cool down

One of the best experiences we ever had. Let me start from the location. This place is 20 minutes from the airport (Taxi costs 25-30 euros). The reception was super friendly and explained everything upon arrival

I had the best time staying at this hotel for the last week! They were very accomadating and made sure we had the best time! There was a good selection of food to choose from so you will find something that you will like! The rooms and the cleanliness was very well done!

The Gaia Palace is a lovely hotel one of three sister hotels in the same area, although we only went into the grounds of the other two, the Palace appeared to be the best, the grounds at the Palace are very nice and well kept

But above all the best thing about this hotel is the the staff and how much they care for the guests and each other

They are the friendliest most wonderful people, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are the reason we return year after year along with many of our friends we have met here who return year after year and agree it is the best place to stay in Kos if not the world! There is a bus from the hotel at 9. 30 into Kos town each morning except Sunday. This is a good fly and flop hotel as long as you can put up with the food and drink

I really feel bad to write this review as I do think this is a great hotel with truly fantastic staff but management's decision to dilute the drinks undermines all of the hard work the staff on the floor do and takes away the perks of having an all inclusive holiday

Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Mini zoo for kids and also mini golf, several kids play, tennis, football, basketball court, 3 very good pools with bars

Gaia itself is a bit out of the way but there's very good buses that run from hotel reception that can take you to Kos town and that costs €3

Beach sandy, shallow, beautiful, close Food generally vert tasty, unfortunatly cakes for breakfast are defrozen and lots of food is too salty however you get a big variety, vegetarian and vegan options you can ask for soya milk delicious desserts during dinner (baklava

) breakfast (even in description) is "american" what it means cakes are defrozen and donuts tastes like paper. However there is a lot of fresh products to do oatmeal, prepare salad, variety of cheese and sausages

The whole place is very well organised, garden is marvellous, there are paths for babystrollers and plants and palms are amazing. Bravo for reusable cups - it makes place seem much more clean and friendly

or you can rent car, scooter, beach buggy or quad and travel to other beutiful spots in under 30mins. would we do Gaia royal again definately 100% yes. This place is special and has something for all ages
