Very good value for the money This hotel has a really good spa with gym, saunas and jacuzzi. Rooms are very modern, soacious and clean but the bed is extrmely hard

The amenities of this hotel are amazing! The beach is not so welcoming and that's a pity but the pool is very nice. We had our room upgraded from a garden view to a pool view. The Half board service is wonderful

For example, to use the sauna, you have to reserve a place in advance, which does not allow for flexibility, but requires assessments each time in advance

But the only thing which upset us was the cleaning service. For this price u pay and facility it is, cleaning was a joke. We have a 2 year old boy so cleaning is everything for us. But it was a nightmare most of the time

The sea is right behind the main pool. In between there is a small street. Fortunately, this is not very busy, so it does not bother you. At the moment there are only a few holidaymakers in the hotel

We particulary liked the peaceful area around the hotel and in the hotel. Other thing is the cleaniness everywhere. And also the personnel was really kind and make our stay more enjoyable

We received a warm welcome and had a room with a communal pool. It was large, well equipped and very clean. The main pool was just huge and well-kept, with comfortable loungers on the edge of the pool

The food and drinks tasted good. There is still room for improvement in terms of selection and service, which is normal for a new hotel. Nevertheless, all employees were always ready to help and friendly

In need of some tarting up but coming straight out of a covid travel ban you have to appreciate these islands have been struggling so it will take them a while to fund it

I tend to drink mainly sparkling wine on holiday and after my initial surprise I actually really enjoyed it served over ice with a strawberry especially in the pool! Wine choices were good, local Greek wine when ordered from the bar you were given a small bottle so we were able to take these to our room and keep in the fridge to drink on the balcony

All the staff were hard working, efficient, friendly and kind, special thanks to Andreas, Costas and Zoe for making our holiday such a success, we can highly recommend this hotel for providing a relaxing, authentic and fun experience

Excellent 10 nights holiday, fabulous hotel , great views , rooms a little dated , air con not great , food superb, entertainment a little light , needed more entertainment in the evening, the staff absolutely outstanding, would definitely recommend but take up the all inclusive plus

Plenty of choice of food and drinks and delicious food, my mum is celiac and they adapted well for various choices of food available for her to enjoy as well. A lovely champagne breakfast as well was included on a Sunday

We liked the fact that they would offer clean towels in the evening and also fresh beach towels were left. and we were delighted that the hotel offered plenty of authentic Greek food at all meals (not always the case)

There was a mini fridge, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. We had a first floor room so no access to a private pool or our own sunbeds but his really was not a problem as we love to sit on the beach

We had a large balcony with a table, and everything was so clean that when we wiped the table, there wasn’t even a trace of dust. The attention to detail in the cleaning was truly impressive

The owner was wonderful to meet—so kind, welcoming, and generous. He treated us to fresh fruit and shared many helpful tips about the area, making our stay feel extra personal and warm

My only very small criticism is although the evening dinner menu is of great quality, when staying for 2 weeks it can be a bit limiting so would be nice to see some menu changes just to change things up a little bit

That being said, it still gets an easy 5 stars as a holiday and although we like to explore, at least we know if we return to Spilia village again we can feel sure we’re in for a relaxing holiday with great staff who truly are a credit to the hotel

It was really nice to see the same staff members that made us feel so welcome the previous year with special mention to Manos, Gen, Miranda and Dora who made our stay feel so special

We chose not to hire a car but it was only €8 to Kolymvari where there was a nice assortment of bars and restaurants on the seafront. We ate at the hotel and also the 2 other local restaurants in Spilia too

We decided to return to Spilia village after sick a great holiday last year, not an easy decision as we had such high expectations from 2024

We had an amazing experience at Atlantic Oceana Resort! The hotel has recently been renovated, and everything feels fresh and modern

As other reviews state, snack bar serving pizza/gyros/burgers which is decent. Drinks mainly all self serve, typical for an all inclusive, local brands but ok

Got to the room, and the bathroom was left in a disgusting state by whoever was before us, toilet and shower etc… dirty towels all over the bathroom still. No one had even changed towels in between family’s

We arrived at reception for the room to be told we’d have to wait for another 3 family’s to use it first. Not great with young children when you’ve been promised you wouldn’t have to wait

(I think these prices were made up to be honest) We had a good stay overall, but this was ruined slightly on the last day when we needed the courtesy room

We asked about 3 times whether we needed to book one and was told every time that we should turn up 5 minutes before as there is lots of different rooms

It's a great hotel with great and helpful staff, always smiling and with good energy, our family been more then happy for our stay here, I'm sure we will come back again 😀 😊 definitely a place to visit, you have beach 30 meters from the hotel too

Also the sun sets on the other side of the beach with is also beautiful. Overall we had an amazing week at Maleme Mare. We would highly recommend it if you’re after a week of relaxing in this friendly, family feel hotel

We would like to give a massive shout out to Aris who made an effort with us each day, what a lovely guy and we feel as though we’ve left with a friend. 3 nights a week there’s entertainment on at the bar

Plenty of sun lounges which are really comfy, beach towels are also provided. The hotel is beautifully presented and clean, with cleaners and maintenance workers working all day taking pride in the areas

Sasha is always working hard and there’s a big selection of cocktails in the evening. By the end of the night everyone is up dancing and laughing. The food is perfectly presented and huge selection

Two pools, fitness center what's not to like 😎🌞 great buffet with loads of new dishes each day. They also went in a extra bit and celebrated me and my wife's birtday with cake and drinks 🍸 😄

We both enjoyed our walks along the sea-front, took a taxi into Chania Old Town and went for a trip on a mini-train which had an accessible carriage! It means so much to be able to still enjoy a holiday like this, so thank you to everyone at the Asterion, especially to the kind gentleman who mended the back of my scooter with his Allen key!

There are several great restaurants nearby, a promenade suitable for jogging. The city of Chania and the beautiful beaches of western Crete are very accessible and close. The entire hotel team is professional and great

Although the bathroom was not fully accessible, it was equipped with a walk-in shower and the hotel had kindly made a seat available. My only wish would be for a fully equipped disabled toilet near the restaurants

As someone with mobility problems, I valued the accessibility of the hotel and its grounds, even down to a path onto the beach, so that I was able to sit out on the sun loungers there

My daughter and I have just spent a week at the Asterion. We thought that the facilities and the food were excellent, although it is the staff who make this a fantastic place to stay

Me and my bestfriend have just spent two weeks at Solimar Aquamarine. We booked a double room with private pool and we loved it! Every summer we book a girls trip and travel for two weeks together

This has to be the two most relaxing weeks we have had. As mentioned we had a room with private pool so we did not use the shared pool area at the hotel, but we did notice that it is not that big

All the sunbeds by the main pool was taken our three last days so we are wondering if there is enough beds in july and august(?) Don’t know how full the hotel was when we stayed there, but we know that it’s 104 rooms here so it might work out well

Every night when we ate dinner in the all inclusive restaurant we could see while sitting outside that there was staff cleaning the sunbeds and tables by the pool, it always looked good and clean in the moring when we went for breakfast

Some days it was good! for example when it seemed like there was a theme like mexican (taco, burrito and so on) and greek night (gyros, both self made and ready-made) but some days we did not find that much that tempted

We really liked that and it made the meals feel more «exlusive» instead of in hotels where you have to go get your drinks on your own at the buffè. The food might be one of the few things we are a bit disapponted with

All the food was so fresh, tasty and delicious we ended up eating in the hotel for most of our stay. We (3 adults) had a 14 night stay in one of the Grand Superior Double hotel rooms which was ideal and spacious

This hotel was booked as part of my partners birthday present and we got an upgraded to a split level junior suite with pool / sea view which was unbelievable!!! The breakfast is excellent and the sun longer situation is the best I’ve had at a hotel no matter what time you go to the pool there are always free loungers

On our arrival we were greeted by charming members of staff, in fact everyone working at this hotel were friendly and very hard working. They were always happy to see us and are a huge asset to the hotel

Plenty of sunbeds around pool and on the beach. Food was excellent and always had a varied choice. Staff in restaurant really friendly as were all the staff where ever you went

We were only booked in as B&B however the first night we had our evening meal in the hotel and found the food to be of a very high standard with so many choices

The beds are a little hard, but for someone like me with back problems, it's no problem. We've had no problems with the bathroom either. There's a super market and buss stop over the road and the village is 1km away

Our room is a good size for two people and we have a nice sea view on the pool facing side. On this side there's no sun on the balcony until late afternoon. But it's a godsend as it's also nice when a breeze blows

We have been here since Saturday night. We arrived very late, so the owner opened the kitchen and served us with pizza and red wine. I must say that after reading so many negative reviews on the net

Wifi not the best, shower not the best, but we can't complain, and we were there for 2 weeks. For a leaner budget on accomodation, I'd highly recommend. VERY relaxed, friendly and helpful service

Kastalia village is the best hotel ever. Clean , friendly , food amazing , local products and the staff is so nice ! The swimming pool is amazing. Nearby the hotel there are nice beaches and you can walk till there

As a family, what mattered most was the quality time we had together, and Kastalia Village offered the perfect base for that. We’re grateful for the experience and would happily return

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Instead of the studio we booked, we were given a spacious apartment, which was a great surprise

The only thing I could complain about is the AC that didn’t really do much difference to the temp in the room, but it kept the table and chairs nice and cool😂 if it would be located closer to the sleeping area it would be much more convenient

There is some restaurants and shops nearby and a tiny shop just next to it- the lovely gentleman there has everything you need. The rooms are rather basic but spotless, the area is cleaned and well maintained

Pool is great and not too crowded, there were always some loungers left. The splash park wasn’t too big but big enough to keep little ones entertained for a while. The snack bar has a decent menu and drinks

The family who own these apartments make it special. They are so friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. People return year after year. It has a pool and bar and there are 2 good restaurants within a minutes walk

Hi all we are currently at pergamos village suites great family run place nice pool pool bar a great place for a cold beer and snacks and a chat bus service to chania and all other places are very frequent clean buses would recommend car hire as there's lots of places to visit PS vassilias the owner gives a welcoming ? or soft drink when you arrive rooms are clean and regular bed linen and towels change...

Highly recommended, nice place to relax with super friendly owner. It feels like home and on days we did not visit other areas we just relaxed at the pool surrounded by olive orchards and flowers and trees

There is roofing near the pool and bar, so you have a choice whether to expose yourself to that hot Greek sun. There's chess, checkers and backgammon games and a variety of simple cooked fare available at the bar
