Giannoulis - Grand Bay Beach Resort (Exclusive Adults Only)

I absolutely loved this resort! It's located right on the beach, with many of the rooms overlooking the sea. The same goes for the beach restaurant. It has various pools, so many of the rooms have their own. I stayed in a junior suite, which was really beautiful, spacious, with a balcony over the sea and a private infinity pool that surrounded the building. Simply a dream! The main pool also has a bar where you can order drinks straight from the water... what more could you want! Considering I went with the full package, it was also a great deal, and the included food was very good. There's quite a large buffet with plenty of options for every taste. I truly enjoyed every meal (and I didn't stop eating!). And then the staff... they were some of the nicest I've ever encountered. I only stayed there for two days and felt they were so friendly that I ended up chatting with some of them regularly. It was simply perfection in every way. I am so grateful to the staff for making this place special and I feel lucky to have found this gem.

Everything is just like in the pictures, no Photoshop. The hotel is on a long, gorgeous beach (pebble). We were there in October, so it was practically deserted. The staff was very friendly, yet unobtrusive and discreet. The rooms are in decent condition and spacious. The food is varied and delicious. Vegetarian options are available. Quiet evenings, and the concerts are not overly fanatical. On the day of departure and the hotel closing, everyone was allowed to stay after 12 noon (the official check-out) and were treated to lunch. It felt very family-friendly. I highly recommend it, especially during the peak season.

The staff is incredibly kind, sweet and professional, and we felt like home. Our room was clen non stop, and we had amazing view of the pool and sea! All in all, we had unforgettable vacation, and we are carrying everlasting fond memories, wich we will pass on who ever asks us ( or don't ask) :) I had birthday during this vacation, and the presents from team were sweet surprise! Big thanks fom Dara and Dana from room 128, for everything!!!!!

My adult daughter and I stayed at the beginning of June for a week in a sea view junior suite. The room was huge with a sitting area, table and chairs and ample room for storage. There was a mini fridge, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. We had a first floor room so no access to a private pool or our own sunbeds but his really was not a problem as we love to sit on the beach. The sea view from the balcony was amazing and sunrise was stunning. We had a problem with our aircon initially but this was sorted out. Housekeeping came twice a day and the room was kept very clean and tidy. We liked the fact that they would offer clean towels in the evening and also fresh beach towels were left. Food was excellent...and we were delighted that the hotel offered plenty of authentic Greek food at all meals (not always the case). We loved the olive oil night, an extra charge but well worth it as the food was excellent and plentiful. We also had a meal at the rooftop a la carte restaurant, again well worth the extra cost, 4 courses beautifully presented and with a lovely view. Service was excellent. I tend to drink mainly sparkling wine on holiday and after my initial surprise I actually really enjoyed it served over ice with a strawberry especially in the pool! Wine choices were good, local Greek wine when ordered from the bar you were given a small bottle so we were able to take these to our room and keep in the fridge to drink on the balcony. We did not have any problems getting a sunbed either at the pool or on the beach although pool beds were considerably more comfortable with padded cushions. Water shoes are needed on this typical Greek stony beach and the sea was beautifully clean and clear and a pleasure to swim in. Entertainment was low key, some singers, a DJ, a saxophonist and a violinist who we really enjoyed and spoke to after...a lovely man. All the staff were hard working, efficient, friendly and kind, special thanks to Andreas, Costas and Zoe for making our holiday such a success, we can highly recommend this hotel for providing a relaxing, authentic and fun experience.

Absolutely beautiful place, very relaxing and extremely helpful staff, the service was amazing and all staff went above and beyond to help. Plenty of choice of food and drinks and delicious food, my mum is celiac and they adapted well for various choices of food available for her to enjoy as well. A lovely champagne breakfast as well was included on a Sunday. Armani and Andreas were also so welcoming and always service with a smile. You all do a fantastic job thank you for making us feel so special on our holiday, will definitely be coming back :-)

Wonderful place to go to rest and relax. The beds and pillows are very comfy. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. It was our anniversary whist we was out there and the staff went above and beyond to make it special for us.

This is a lovely hotel in a fab location. Easy walk to the village tavernas along the beach. The room was perfect, the sunbeds and pool were right outside and glorious. The staff are exceptional - Zoe, Natasha, Andreos especially but they all can't do enough for you. The air con needs to be on all the time as it is not the coldest. The fridge works best with the cupboard door open. The hotel is so well laid out and SO clean. The food is plentiful and varied with many Greek options and fab fish dishes. Chania is well worth the bus ride - a lovely city with a very pretty sea front. Highly recommend this hotel - you won't be disappointed from the moment you check in.

Excellent 10 nights holiday, fabulous hotel , great views , rooms a little dated , air con not great , food superb, entertainment a little light , needed more entertainment in the evening, the staff absolutely outstanding, would definitely recommend but take up the all inclusive plus

Where do I start....This was by far the best All Inclusive Adults only hotel we've ever been to. The hotel and our room was amazing. The staff were just wonderful, they could never do enough for us. Extra special thanks go to Natasha, Andreas, Costa, Mandarin and Zoe. We didn't want to leave. Definitely coming back next year. Thank you xx
