Belmare Hotel-Adults Only

Had a fantastic stay at Belmare Hotel.
While it may be slightly out-of-the-way, a bus stop right outside (with a phenomenal public bus service it must be stressed) did allow us to travel with relative ease.
This bus stop allows Belmare Hotel to be an ideal base to travel around the island.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to offer places to go and helpful hints.
The hotel is situated a 2 minute walk to the local beach, with a 10 minute bus drive to the town of Pefkis should you wish for something more busy.
The food was decent, main highlights being the morning breakfasts.
The only main complaint was a shower that did not have a constant temperature.
A special mention to George, the charming barman, who was not only friendly and helpful, but also made us feel welcome with making us our own cocktails.
Belmare Hotel is a definite place to stay on the island of Rhodes - worth the visit!

Amazing staff we arrived after the buffet had closed but they made sure we had food and a couple who arrived at the same time as us. This isn’t a five star hotel and you get what you pay for however food was really good and staff made sure we were comfortable.

The room we had was very nice some of the staff was ok the food was not great it catered more for the Germans than any one else it was the same old food day after day thay do not cater for coeliac like I was told it did witch mean I had to pay for food again I would not give it a 4star rating

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, we had a private splash pool , this was a bonus, Anna Maria our cleaning lady was very good and worked to ensure we had what we need, the lady V on the reception worked well to provide a good experience for us, the bar staff the young lady during the day and young man during the evening worked hard to give us a really lovely experience. Overall I would recommend this hotel for a fun and friendly stay.

Lovely quiet location , friendly helpful staff . Clean hotel on a long strip road , with several supermarkets and a couple of restaurants . Quiet rocky beach nearby . Sits on bus route .

Fabulous hotel.
This is a small (50 rooms) all inclusive adult only hotel in Lardos.
Staff all very attentive. Food was decent. A good selection. The pool was an ideal size and George at the pool bar was very attentive. Loved the place so much booked to go back next year.

I had a fantastic stay at the Belmare in Lardos, Greece. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. A special mention to Jerry and George at the bar, who were both exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I can't wait to return!

We stayed at the Belmare hotel which is a small hotel in the mainly commercial part of Lardos on the coast road and has about 50 rooms spread over 4 blocks and adults only. The beach is about 200m and best accessed via the road at back righthand side of the hotel. All the staff were lovely and helpful, from reception, both bars and restaurant staff that all work tirelessly. Beds and rooms are comfortable, and size depends on what you’ve booked, some have plunge pools, some have balconies and a couple of rooms have Jacuzzi’s on their balconies. The food in the restaurant is very good. I have seen some reviews about the food choice. But I think its fair to say this is a small hotel and there is always enough variations to cater for all tastes including vegetarians. The restaurant has plenty of tables both on the veranda that overlooks the front fountains and main road The restaurant staff also brought small snacks around to guests by the pool mid-morning and ice creams available between 3-5 in the afternoons. As the hotel is all inclusive bars open at 10am until 11pm. Both Gorge or Jerry are always very friendly and happy to chat at either the pool or roof bars. There are a few local restaurants, bars and supermarkets within 100m and more hotel bars down by the beach if you want a change of scenery in te evenings. There are bus stops outside the hotel that go to Lindos (15mins) or Rhodes town (1hr)and fairly cheap 6Euros. For the more adventurous there is a speed boat to Rhodes Town for 50Euros and takes about 90mins. The hotel reception can arrange for you to hire a car from a local company to explore a little mor of the island. We had a great 9 days at the Belmare and would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
