Nice clean quiet hotel with beautiful garden, two bars, pool and really perfect clean beach with red sand and crystal clear water

The rooms are clean, furniture rather as in 3 or 3,5 star hotel, not as in 4 star hotel in Germany or in the Czech Republic, bathroom is tiny. Wifi connection in every room, but paid (35 euros for a week)

Staff is very friendly, polite. Food was all right, there is always something tasty. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and recommend this hotel

There are some aspects of the hotel which were really well thought out, such as the non-slip mats by the childrens pool, the rooms having doorbells (which is very inventive), the parasols being screwed to the ground, as well as there being plenty of tables available which stopped people moving them around

We used the gym a couple of times and we found it to be reasonably well-equipped with good machines (but it would be good to see a few more weights available), as well as using the games room which featured table tennis (free), pool and table football which were both a few euros per game which we enjoyed

Both the pool areas in the hotel are the best we've ever had with plenty of room to swim or play with a ball (with the one at the Asterias part of the hotel being particularly good), as well as plenty of lounges & parasols (meaning people don't need to reserve lounges as you can always get one)

The hotel is situated in a good location, 5 minutes from a stunning beach, and 15 minutes from the town of Lixouri, where there are loads of independent cafes and restaurants making it a good day out, with buses 4x per day from right outside the hotel and costing just 2€ each or a taxi is 13€

The drinks in the bar were good for half-board guests who have a separate menu from the all-inclusive, where we also appreciated the complementary snacks which were occasionally given to us alongside our drinks

Staying on a half-board basis meant we were able to dine at the La Pergola bar for lunch where we thoroughly enjoyed the souvlaki and gyros for lunch most days

Perfect service, tasty food. XL portions, have that in mind.

This is in a great location. Not staying at this hotel but went for drinks. Yesterday no problems but slow service. Today the service was so slow we walked out and went across the road. Great normally.

The views from the sea rooms are stunning. All restaurants, shops and cafes are very close by. The pool has plenty of loungers and is a lovely way to relax

Lovely friendly 3 star hotel with great beachfront access. Pool is lovely and there is a good mix of shade and sun. Room was clean and sufficient. No it’s not luxurious, it’s simple but very clean

I would recommend The Summery to travellers young and old as it is in a quiet area but not far from the main square where there are many tavernas to choose from. I hope we can visit again soon

The bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the ferry to take you to the main town of Argostoli from where you can explore the island further by boat or by bus

Fantastic Location 5* Very clean and friendly staff. Bathroom patched up and although clean needs updating with bigger shower cubicles and wall fitting shower spray

I heard there had been a bar open in evenings previous years but sadly this year closed - I would have used this for a nightcap

I've come to Greece many times over the years, but this is my favorite place to stay and my favorite island. Terra Mare Resort is "simple luxury" with an owner (Nicos) who cares

The large property has trees full of oranges, lemons and loquats, an amazing pool and overlooks beautiful Livadi Bay. Lixouri town is only a few minutes away by car and a ferry across the bay to Argostoli is only 3 euros

In the lunge area, where you can have a drink or find anything you need, we met some hotel guests who have been coming back for years. This is definetely a sign that the hotel is worthy of a return visit

Nikos, the owner, was extremely accommodating from start to finish. Our flight was delayed meaning we arrived at the hotel at 2:30am yet Nikos stayed up to ensure we arrived safe and sound

He helped us hire a car, gave us advice on where to go and what to do as well as restaurants/bars he liked. Room had everything we needed and even a balcony (surrounded by orange trees)

Snacks available till 7pm good selection 👍 Beautiful good sized pool and plenty of sunbeds to go round, with a lovely garden area to lay in

Has everything you need and more for a 2* in my opinion. Set in nice attractive grounds with a big deep swimming pool. Very helpful friendly staff.

A wonderful 2star Hotel Fabulous pool,lots of sunbeds. Excellent snack menu, breakfast included ( buffet style) bread, cheese, meat ,eggs cake. Staff make you feel part of a family

Above all, the team there at La Cite will make you feel at home from the time you arrive until the time you check out, you will be well taken care of during your stay

Rooms are very old, nothing special. No insect nets in the balcony door. Garden is nice though. An old fashioned pool and many sunbeds around it. Distance to town center is also very good.

Nice bar with pool - it really under sells itself. When we stayed, it was half full - well worth a stay

On asking we were allowed to use the pool facilities, absolutely excellent, got us in the mood for booking a holiday there, if only we could find a booking site for it

The pool and the beach bar are beautiful, the food at the restaurant was so tasty and not expensive at all! The room was great, big enough, the bathroom was super clean. In addition, they have super cute dogs

Our decision was good, this resort is perfect for romantic couples, families with small children or older people own to quiet environment, which is clean and realy orderd, stuff is very polite and hardworking, food is delicious and diverse – local product

What an amazing hotel!! It was just remodeled couple seasons ago and it’s absolutely beautiful, super clean with the most friendlier stuff and owners that I have met traveling around the world! My wife and I absolutely fall in love with this island this town and this hotel we will be back year after year!!!!!

I recommend hotel Palatino for everyone who wants to relax. Very clean, very peaceful place. For dinner you can try delicious greek food. Staff is friendly and helpful. For me one of the best :)

The area has not changed since we last holidayed there 17 years ago still beautiful and in my own personal opinion best place on the island

A big thank you to Babis, Spryos and their lovely family and team at the Apolafsi for looking after us very well and being so helpful! This is a sweet, family-run place, well located just outside Lixouri

Family running it was very attentive and pleasant. The only thing I would say is that the shower is not closed so the bathroom gets very very wet after a shower but that is. It enough to mark this cute property down

We spent the days around our wedding staying in the hotel and Anastasia and her team could not have been friendlier or more attentive

The beds were super comfortable (I really enjoyed the firm pillows); spacious bathroom with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper); great smelling and absorbent towels; and an air conditioning system that not only worked, but kept the room nice and cold

There's no swimming pool but we didn't expect one. The staff are friendly and polite

We stayed at Aura Boutique Hotel from Aug 22 to 31, 2023. We are a family of 3 adults and we were given a very roomy suite on the ground floor

It’s a 10 euro taxi ride to Lixouri, which has some really good restaurants plus the ferry to Argostoli (3 euros each) where you can see the loggerhead turtles

The family couldn't be more welcoming and you definitely leave feeling like part of their lovely family. As someone else has said, we were all given hugs when we left and I genuinely felt a bit emotional to say farewell

The hotel is also well placed for a trip to Petani beach for the most amazing sunset and food in Erasmias taverna. We are already planning a return trip next year

We stayed at the Lazaratos Hotel as a result of booking a Lixouri Bay Beach Club holiday with Trek Adventures (also amazing by the way)

They weren’t bothered when they brought out lunch to us while we were still in the pool! Rooms are slightly dated but spotlessly clean and toilets are not a problem at all (I’m very picky about toilets!!) Every single meal was amazing, and the buffet system was cleverly structured so you don’t have people piling their plates with food

The Phaedra Suites presents the highest quality for me: clean rooms (service cleaning provided each day with the towels change),very spacious and tastefully decorated rooms with large, comfort bad, view on the see, fresh breakfast served to the table and the most important, very open, helpful and in the same time discreet staff, I would recommend for everyone, who wants to really relax and find a place...

We had a great stay at the hotel. Very friendly owner and staff, amazing swimming pool and very clean bedrooms. The rooms are fully equipped with all you need: fridge, tv, cooker, AC, etc

Nice, cosy &warm from every point of view. Clean rooms, clean and big pool. They also have a nice bar/ terrace where you can drink/ eat. The food is fresh and good, drinks are good

Although a bit far away from Lixouri, the hotel is located in a very peaceful area, from the pool and the room you have direct view to the sea, 5 out of 5

Beautiful location, superb position overlooking the town and bay of Lixouri. Very well equipped Villa with everything we needed for our family get together

Available also washing machine - that we occasionally used. Large garden with olive trees and other plants. Crystal clear swimming pool just in front of the apartment

We spent a very nice holiday in Villa Ostria. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our kids had a great time in the great pool and on the nearby beach.

We stayed for 10 days and explored most of the Lixouri side and south/central areas, we were pleased that we’d lucked out with where we were staying – the beautiful sandy beach and café a stroll away, and short drive (or very long walk, but we saw people doing it!) to Lixouri and the regular ferry to Argostili

With a two year old we also really enjoyed the turtles in the harbour at Argostili, the sandy beach at Vatsa, and an adventurous drive to Agia Eleni, Petani beaches and ice-creams on the pebbly beach at Assos village all must-dos

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Ostria, our hosts, Fortis and Nancy were extremely welcoming (an amazing plate of moussaka on the kitchen table when you get off a flight and drive arriving in the late afternoon is a lifesaver!)

A great, perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle, and close to the beautiful sandy beaches (including Xi), and taverns next to them (beautiful port Lixouri with stalls and a promenade 6 km from there, an obligatory bivouac point on the way, you can see Zante beautifully ) surrounded by a beautiful olive garden, where you can relax by the pool in the shade of olive bushes and the sound...

A true oasis of peace, where you can spend wonderful moments It has all the necessary facilities, you just have to install it, beach XI beach very close and when you do not have the big pleasure waiting for you the swimming pool, which is just like 5 ☆

Pool and villa fabulous large and clean with everything we needed. Beach nearby and restaurants. Quieter side of island ferry nearby.

Superb villa. Close to Xi beach!
